Hi guys, I know it sometimes comes across as really cringe to make these posts as its like who actually cares, but i feel like after playing the community for such a long time and it having a genuine impact on my life [GMOD actually effecting me because no-lifed it] it deserves at least a proper post to put it all to rest for myself.
I began playing the community back in July 2021, which looking back at it is crazy it was over 4 years ago. I was only 12, and essentially got forced to grow up and mature at least a tiny bit in order to speak to the people on the community in a semi mature way. Now I'm 16, even though I'm still young I've got a lot of other priorities in life now and am trying to do the best possible in my A levels and just generally improve myself, hence cutting off the community first as a time saver. Its really interesting to look back and actually think about how I've changed because of the shit that happened to me on the community, getting leadership positions on MRP when being like 12/13 really forced me to have a sense of how to manage stuff, even if looking back it really isn't that deep it felt it at the time. The community has made a large impact on me as a person as well, with learning to cope with pressure via dev and also how to take positive criticisms to develop myself as a person as well which in the long run has made it so much easier to change to new environments and tasks that I was once shit at.
Now life has really ramped up with a large amount of personal stuff occurring, me working for most of the time I have free while also wanting to spend time doing what I enjoy and seeing the people close to me. This obviously means that the least important stuff yet the stuff that consumes some of the most time i have ever spent goes first in the form of Mapper and any roles I have on CN. I still enjoy the community and think I've had some of the most fun in a while on it throughout my 4 years but times change and stuff has got to adapt sadly.
Before I get to the boring part of writing an essay to thank those who made an effect on my personal life [as in genuinely helped me through tough times], I'd like to mention that I believe the community has changed so much within the past few years, some things for good and some for bad. But, it will be interesting to see how stuff moves in the future and if the community makes it any further than Site 9 when it gets released [Yes its not a myth].
So, Here's a very long list of Shoutouts I'll try to categories them into groups that people actually care about so you can find yourself easier.
Ones who have made an actual effect:
@Yeke - This guy might be one of the most real people I've ever met. I've been up having conversations with him about some very personal stuff with him and he's always been there to support and give honest advice to anyone who needs it. I really appreciate what you've done and the work you've put in when others couldn't be bothered to. I honestly think you underestimate the amount of effect its had.
Connor Humphreys - This guy has been blacklisted for a while now but he's a real one, he helped out a lot and like a common thing you'll find about the people in the section of the list. Has made a genuine effect on how I am and helped me get over some awkwardness as a dev. This shit sounds so cringe lowk.
@Skinner - I've only known this guy for like 1 Year and lowk hate him. But on a real level I've had some really genuine conversations with him about shit going on in both of our lives and feel like he's one of those people who know when to be serious and have a real convo and then know when to troll and be an idiot. But yea i still hate him because he's never getting HGM
@Johnson J. Marauder - While I've been in CI, even though its only been like 25% of my time in the community I've gone through probably the most stressful and problematic period of my life so far. This guy has always been wiling to give me the time and space i need and has always been a read one I can dm if i need to. POV: 8 Week LOA as MCOM.
@Valkon - Valk was another real one, he's a really genuine guy and has now left the community after coming back as SGM for the 20th time. Probably wouldn't have made it this far into the community if he didn't initially convince me to apply for GM.

@Aleem Abdul - Only CN player I have ever met IRL along with his brother, genuine solid bloke and can have a laugh.
@Alex - This guy caused the ultimate butterfly effect by recruiting me into JAF back into 2021, and has now caused all this bullshit.

People Who I LOVE:
@YandereMuffin - Blob provides brilliant sit advice and allows the server to proceed in the most un-bias fashion possible. Without blob, I believe there would be a grave issue with potential bias that would radiate throughout the day to day running of the server
@Ronin - Similarly to blob, cheesy has always had a knack for making the highest quality events possible that are mutually beneficial to both sides. It allows for a fun and not unfair gameplay loop that distributes a nice usage of the Odin system to all sides of the server.
@Judge - The wonderful senior mapper strongly believes in the chain of command, and hence does not concern himself with the opinions of lesser mappers regarding map limits. Judge has always had a way to provide top quality updates that benefit the server as well as possible while also taking into account the feedback of the content team and server leadership. Well done judge!
@parker - Parker was an outstanding member of the community that ensured all the rules were followed to the dot, by utilising the Admin Reporting system to develop his skills in providing the top possible service to the community, he ensured any minor breakage of the rules were reported to the appropriate people. However, I forgive him for obviously having an accidental oversight when it benefitted him because he must've been too busy to realise and uphold the community standards
@mrghost - Mr Ghost had a very energetic and exciting outlook on the server as a whole, utilising his unique personality to ensure that all members of the community felt welcomed no matter how that were and who they were. Im very proud of him for this, Well done!
@Sans Peur - Alpha Rest has always had a unique way of using his mapping skills to further the quality of any work he touches, pouring many hours into his work, Alpha has been able to best most mappers and produce a result not many could achieve. His helpful criticisms of the map and the ones in development have allowed him to change the maps for the better and create a very exciting and unique perspective utilising little to no map content from other maps!
Note: I hope the chemical system gets deleted now I'm gone, its way too funny the amount of shit I managed to do with it and never get told of for it but we grind I guess. Please dont reply being like 'you forgot me' because that's cringe asf. If i see someone reply and i think huh i forget them ill just add you. Also, Vote for me best mapper 2025 so I can win even though Im not there
That's now all from me, after many years I think most people who i remember for good reasons are now on this list and anything written next to their name is very fit accordingly. I just want to say, even though this will sound cringe, thanks a lot for the fun over the years and all the good memories. Even though mapping was at times really shit and a huge waste of time in many situations, i think it changed me for the better in the long run.
