mate icl theres only things that has impacted my RP
1. is people who try to RP dickheads and fail miserably at it because they think they gotta be dickheads to everyone at every every second of every minute unless they are talking to someone who nepobabies them, icl its sad to say but its the truth; 85% of the negative encounters i've had are from the people who are:
- Genuinely nice OOC
- Jnr CL4
- Trying to RP a cunt or a meanie weenie
- Fail at that and just ruin your mood
then you get their nepo-coded Snr CL4's that justify it IC as a "oh hes having a bad day" and justify it OOC as "people are free to RP a mean character"
2. the other 15% of boring ass encounters is genuinely clearance gating everything, yes its the SCP universe, yes shit is meant to be clearance locked; no you dont have to commit the great RP exclusion because we have something called "a m n e s t i c s" and believe it or not i can put this on my honor 100% of the non-minge people you meet will gladly self-administer a amnestic because you gave them the OOC respect of treating them like an individual and letting them experience the RP, which is worth infinitely more than knowing some bullshit IC that you cant do shit with either way because AO will slime u out, so yeah thats it
TL;DR: Dont RP a mean character if u dont know how to. Dont clearance lock everything and exclude people from RP unless theyre clearly minges wholl go /oc UHMMM O5-1 "The Mechanism" IS ACTUALLY THE SITE INSPECTOR!?!??!. and amnesticate them after.
otherwise literally everything is fun imho, its great really i put hours into this server cuz its fun and brings my days joy when the 2 aforementioned points dont appear
