Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?: I am applying for medical consultant as I want to progress within the medical department and become a part of MLT. I feel that if I was a member of the MLT I could really help out a lot. I have always liked medical roleplay as its the closest roleplay there is to real life situations. If someone has a condition in game, you can follow the exact same procedures to deal with it (if its a real condition of course). Similar to my previous point, I would also like to become a member of MLT because I love real life medical and biological science. I think that if I became MLT I could become more knowledgeable on this side of biology.

What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?: I think that I am a suitable candidate for the position of consultant because over the past week or so I have put a lot of effort into creating RP for other members of the department by doing things like: Psych evals on SCP's, Creating operation Terus and adding more roleplay to things like curing people. Instead of just saying "here drink this" I have been doing stuff like injecting the medicine in the blood, making the patient drink water with the medicine etc. Operation Terus is an operation which I made which is basically all about cancer treatment. I created and handed out several fliers to all of the departments which I hope has created roleplay for people. I also created a guide for people on how to deal with cancer patients and how to diagnose it, as roleplay like this isn't seen every day. Finally, I believe that I have been really active over the course of the past few days allowing me to interact with MLT, other medical personnel and the rest of site which has taught me a lot. I am always trying to generate RP for others, and I hope I have been doing so up to a good standard.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice: The procedure I will be choosing is: Curing an infection/disease (with some added roleplay)
Firstly, instead of just having the patient lie down on the infection scanner bed, you could take them into a treatment room and do some extra tests for some added roleplay. An example I will use is for chest infections you could use a stethoscope. After you get a firm diagnosis out of roleplay, if you are unsure you could then use the infection scanner bed. Next, you must prescribe the correct medicine. Although yes, 1 dose is all that's needed to cure someone, to add some more more roleplay you could prescribe maybe 50ml a day for 5 days or something similar (certain diseases only). This little bit extra goes a long way. Finally, instead of just handing it to them and they drink it you could maybe inject it through the blood stream, like if there's a bacterial infection in the leg. Something else I like to do is that I would give the medicine alongside a cup of water to help them down the medicine.
