What does this suggestion change/add/remove?:
Extra mechanics to existing items in the game, an example being potentially the Crowbar if possible. These torture mechanics being something such as: breaking legs/arms or rendering someone "unconscious" (blind and unable to speak for a few seconds).
Has something similar to this been suggested before? If so, why is your suggestion any different?:
Not to my knowledge.
Possible Positives of the Suggestion (At least 2):
Adds more potential for mechanical torture, expanding on potential pre-existing mechanics such as the previously Military RP torture system and limb breaking system.
Lessens the chance of accidentally blowing someone's leg off during torture when using a gun.
Possible Negatives of the Suggestion:
Potential abuse of the system during hostage negotiations
Potentially giving someone a crowbar
Based on the positives and negatives, why should this suggestion be accepted?:
I believe this should be accepted as it would give more potential torture mechanics beyond "Give me machete to chop off limbs/threaten to chop off limbs". Gives a use to an item people are given very rarely.
It also gives more of a chance of someone talking before losing legs. Does not cause someone to resort to: Grunting (Chopped out tongue) or being barred from communication entirely if possible (Hands and Tongue removed via Machete)
