Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I have always had a set goal in my mind for the path I'd like to take during my time so far on site, going through many different possible outcomes, but ultimately always concluding with me joining the Site Administration team. I have always enjoyed the idea of being a positive enabler for other members of communities and positions held across the activities I try to involve myself in. I took an interest in Site Administration for this reason and would love to continue pursuing it. How I would specifically like to clear my wording up would be in the sense that I enjoy being in positions that can enable further enjoyment for other members of the site.
With being an Executive researcher and Ethics Committee Assistant under my belt, I would like to now further challenge myself to work under an even tighter knitted team that works with ALL departments to allow members of the respective departments better enjoy their own time on site. The final reasoning behind my application for Site Advisor is to finally involve myself in an official Senior Position within the site, allowing a new and rich avenue of social and personal development, working to ensure I can help provide fun interactions that people can enjoy!
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
I believe I may be suitable for the position of Site Advisor due to the constant insight I have been privileged with through several interactions with the Site Advisors and Director, being through meetings and discussions, requests or general interactions, I've managed to learn some incredibly useful information on how the site operates on a day to day basis, and I have been able to observe many different situations that included Site administration.
While being a CL4 Researcher, I have not only worked with Site administration on a few Event SCPs and More Exotic testing with current SCP contained within the site, I have had the opportunity to work overseeing a Department under the Director of Research, acting as a staple person for newer and regular members of the Department to come to for help with their duties. I feel like the balance of being fair and thorough with how I proceed with my actions are are a quality very well suited for Site administration, with an example having been with management over punishments and rewards for inappropriate and impressive behaviour displayed by the Department I have been able to oversee.
While I do not have a large range of experience in different areas of the Site, I had the opportunity as an Ethics Assistant to work with acting as the representative for both Departments requesting to see Ethics Members and as a messenger or person who delivers news or documents back to the Departments. I have also had the opportunity to take on tasks under the Ethics Committee directly, working to interview and listen to the voices and assist all Clearance Level 4 personnel of the Medicine department, which I think was a great situation which gave me experience that would help quite well while working as an Advisor that is overseeing a Department.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
The Responsibility of Site Administration is to work with every Department active on-site, to ensure that the day-to-day duties of the members of foundation staff are completed in line with the Code of Conduct and the code of ethics. The Site Administration team oversee all aspects of the events and scenarios that transpire on-site and are to ensure that the actions taken are in the best interest of the foundation.
With site Advisors, in particular, the Site Advisors' jobs will be to provide specific reports and progress regarding their assigned Departments to oversee, ensuring that the Site Director gets all necessary information needed, and are responsible for making sure the site runs smoothly while the Director is off-site.
The Site administration must make decisions on how to allow personnel to best deal with situations that have arisen, such as Allowing Advanced Armory for appropriate personnel during Code 5 Containment breaches, or authorising and supervising D-block sweeps to deal with Code 2 Riots.
