Whilst I do have variations of lore behind Tyler, I'm afraid its not something I am dedicating time to uncover or write more about today.
Over the last few months, Tyler has been everything from a chaotic little gremlin to a true paragon of justice in the site (sometimes this occurs simultaneously), and while I did take a break from him for a week or two, he was so beloved by most people that I had to bring him back.
Unfortunately it would appear that I am now being instructed to seek PAC3 Request / Approval regarding this characters height. This stems from the fact that a staff member on the server called into question whether or not I was supposed to be smaller than the standard 1.0 whilst on the D-Class job.
So to clarify, here I am - I don't think Class-D is an inherently combative job. (I mean, hey, it's not even on the combatives list in the ruleset).
Instead, I think it is a role that allows for RP in many wildly different directions, and whilst the majority seems to enjoy doing riots, I prefer to go help out on site by brightening peoples day. Tyler has been instrumental in this, and his height is part of the character, as it makes him more likeable and distinguishable from other well known player-characters that tend to roam the site.
In the end, my viewpoint is this - when I want violence and action and to riot against GSD, I will gladly change to another D-Class character with a different name - but when I'm Tyler, what is the harm of having a 0.93 height slightly shorter than the rest of the usual Class-Ds? There's plenty of Researchers and Assistants of even lower height, precisely because they are non-combative, RP supporting characters.
So, this is it - Tyler has been short the last 7 months, and I don't suddenly want this to become an issue just solely because I seek clarification / confirmation.
