What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
I have experience in reviving/reworking regiments. I used to be an FSB CPT on CN MRP before the NWO/AC change and I worked on making the regiment active once more and to bring it back from its 'dead' state. After getting the regiment back to a stable player base, I transitioned servers to CN SCP and worked on moving up the ranks in E-11. I stayed in E-11 for around 10 months and consistently kept the regiment at peak players with upwards of 8-10 people actively playing the regiment daily. TLDR: I have experience in securing regiments and teams to a higher player count than previous and I believe I can use my skills to assist the G.O.C start off well and keep the group at a high player count consistently.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?
I am looking to play a new side of the server that I have not yet experienced and with this update I can see myself focusing my efforts on the G.O.C and helping form it into a great faction. I also wish to join to experience and interact with the new RP that will inevitably come with the addition of the G.O.C.
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?
The Global Occult Coalition was founded after the end of World War Two by defecting scientists, occultists and priests from allied countries such as the Soviets or Nazis. As time grew from the end of World War Two, more countries joined the G.O.C and the goals of the G.O.C shifted. The G.O.C was founded and remains as the self-proclaimed police of the supernatural world.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
PHYSICS:
The Physics division is made up of strike teams and assessment teams, they work to capture and destroy 'Para Threats' and are used as the primary fighting force of the G.O.C.
PSYCHE:
The Psyche division is made up of agents that work closely with other G.O.I s to form diplomatic relations to benefit the G.O.C.
PTOLEMY:
The Ptolemy division is made up of scientists and researchers that work to benefit the G.O.C's fighting forces with things such as improved weaponry and equipment.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?
The G.O.C's goals are split into five sections known as the 'Fivefold Mission'
Mission 1 'Survival':
The most notable mission of the G.O.C, protecting the world from supernatural threats and ensuring the survival of the human race.
Mission 2 'Concealment':
Conceal knowledge of SCPs or 'Para threats' from the public.
Mission 3 'Protection':
The safety of individual humans is prioritised including its own agents. The G.O.C goes out of its way to protect human life from 'Para threats'.
Mission 4 'Destruction':
The G.O.C works to destroy all 'Para threats' or anomalous items to protect the world.
Mission 5 'Education':
The G.O.C makes attempts to expand their knowledge of all anomalous they find to further their aims.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War:
The Seventh Occult War was a war thought during the Second World War. The fighting was caused due to a group of Nazi personnel who decided to attempt to finish the Rite of Solomon, SCP-3457, to attempt to summon a reality-bending anomaly that could shift the course of the war in favour of the Nazi party. Once world leaders found out about this, the operation was swiftly shut down with the anomaly then being recovered from the Nazis. This occurrence led to the political world learning of the true dangers of the supernatural. Once the war ended, the casualties were so extreme that it was made certain that it must never happen again. The U.N then decided to create the Global Occult Coalition to fight the supernatural and protect humanity from the anomalous.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?
The Global Occult Coalition is, to my knowledge, the only group hell-bent on protecting the world from anomalous creatures despite all potential harm they may face. The G.O.C is a dedicated group to wiping out all anomalies it can and protecting humanity from all danger that may come from the supernatural.
