Why are you applying for Special Agent?
I enjoy the process of helping and aiding new agents, giving them tips and ensuring the DEA is kept to a professional standard and would love to further my leadership journey within the DEA. I also take joy in commanding and swiftly operating agents in situations e.g. CI raids and want to develop these skills further. Finally, i simply enjoy the time I spend as DEA and embrace the community that we have created.
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?:
I have shown time and time again my proficiency and effectiveness as a leader and shot-caller during situations and am ready to make difficult decisions if push comes to shove. Furthermore, I have helped and guided several Agents/new recruits to help not only their development but my development as a leader. In addition to this, I believe that if and when situations require it I act in a professional and respectable manner which I hope to ensure is kept by all agents/seniors.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
I have made 2 (long) Documents which contain both high detail and quality I designed to aid new-er members in their understanding of DEA's role, the first of which on negotiations which detailed the standard procedures to be undertaken when communicating in both /oc and /c, it contains scenarios and examples to further guide understanding and has been signed by both the agency manager (Unbroken at the time) and department director (Brum).
As well as this I made a document covering an area that when I started I felt uninformed and curious about, interrogations. The document covered things like an explanation of rolling as well as suitable example questions and the general processes to ensure hostages' livelihood.
In conclusion, i feel a good document must both brief and generate an understanding while simultaneously being clear and simple.
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?:
Ensuring all agents and seniors are acting professionally and taking command when no higher-ups are present, as well as monitoring and surveying them to root out any mischief. Senior agents also should be hosting training and ensuring that new competent agents are welcomed, as well as proving any agents/seniors with extra guidance when requested. Additionally, they should also ensure that relations with other GOI are kept friendly and maintained and handle any secure/sensitive comms that are needed.
Please give some lore about your Special Agent character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Aaron Jones grew up near Pinewood and saw facility activity for a long time which from a young age got him interested in the military, upon hitting the enlistment age he instantly enlisted and was trained as a combatant. After serving a few tours in Iraq AJ was exposed to an SCP event and once this was discovered he was given the choice to join the foundation, this was where he first made contact with DEA. After a period in GENSEC to build up his reputation/familiarity with the foundation he transferred to the DEA as since his first interaction he was dead set on joining, after showing dedication and good judgement he received a promotion to Senior agent and continued to work within the DEA, dealing with situations like raids and CI opening portals etc. However this wasn't enough as he continues to strive for higher and higher honour within the department hoping to further benefit the foundation.
