Why are you applying for Director of Research?: I want to apply for the position of Director of Research because I want to help the department of Research grow and prosper. While this is a fairly basic answer, I will elaborate on it below.
I want to put effort into enticing new players to join research. From the start I've gone to great lengths to make the experience more enjoyable for new players besides sitting in a room typing on a clipboard for 45 minutes. I love research you can see, research that has actual replicable results rather than endless /me roleplay. As Director of Research, I would be able to do this more effectively.
Research is currently in an odd place with new players getting demotivated by a bunch of things they should not be worrying about
With both directors resigning, there is a gap left in the leadership of the research department. A gap I wish to fill, and I am confident I can perform my duties to a satisfactory standard, like the previous directors.
I've been executive for a while now and seeing Morikas and Claire perform wonderful roleplay on Executive and Director was my first source of inspiration in research. I wish to now follow in their footsteps.

- The most obvious one is experience. I am currently the longest serving Executive by quite a while (since the end of July roughly) and the experience I've built up within the Research Department will be put to great use if I get Director. Basic reason, I know, but one worth noting.
- I am a very curious individual by nature. I love finding things out and discovering things, which is the whole idea of the Research department.
- I LOVE teaching people. I absolutely adore finding a new player and being able to introduce them to the lovely department. Being able to teach and help people effectively is a good quality to have as Director of Research.
- I can handle stressful situations well. Some might know that I am the current RCPT Lead. RCPT has gone through its fair share of stressful situations, a few near-shutdowns and also one full shutdown and I've handled all of them professionally. I might not seem it ingame - though that's my character - but I can keep a level head when needed.
