What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
-Throughout my journey in this Foundation, I believe I have with time improved myself to a point where I can be confident of my capabilities and my skills such to allow me to achieve the position of ECA.
In this journey, I have encountered countless scenarios that have allowed me to understand better every dynamic and aspect in this Foundation, you never stop learning and everyday you gain new experience.
I have used my traits and my skills accordingly so that with time and dedication I was able to achieve the position of E-11 Captain, thus proving that my maturity, competence and dedication were vital throughout my journey.
E-11 has given my a lot of opportunities, I have met new people and I was able to climb the ranks with time and dedication. Once I had reached the position of LT, I had started proving I was there for a reason and was assigned the role of Training manager where I decided to improve relations between E-11 and other departments such as GSD, Medical and other MTFs alike. After a Cross-Training with CMs and the bettering of relations we had came up with a new Squadron the Specialized Medical Unit that would come to E-11 aid in HCZ or help with testing procedures.
After some time, I was able to reach the position of CPT where I find myself now, other than E-11 I would like to put my skills and traits to use to better the Foundation and that's why I took my time to write an application for the role of ECA.
I had joined Civil Networks in the middle of 2022 but left for 1 year until I re-joined in August 2023 where I started my journey.
As a member of this beautiful community, I will continue bettering myself and gaining experience everyday and I believe I would do that even better with a new perspective: As an Ethics Committee Assistant.
What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:
Ethics Committee Assistants are the representatives of the Committee when their members are not on-site, they are responsible for duties such as:
- Ensure the Site is functioning correctly.
-Approving Testing Procedures, these procedures may vary and it requires competence to understand whether a test may be done or not.
-Completion of assignments and tasks handed out by the Committee.
-Usage of Mobile Task Force Omega-1 to carry out duties and assignment from the Committee.
-Oversee Departments (Eg. Research/GSD etc...) to ensure their vital function is being done and ethical behaviour.
-Creating RP opportunities for Foundation personnel.

Amadeus grew up in a regular family, born in Italy people saw him as a naive young man, others as one full of initiative and willpower.
Once he reached the age of 19, he decided to get a language degree, not a regular path many would say, but his dream was to become an interpreter.
His parents would always say that he could have just gone through law school and get a better life, but who could stop him? Even when he was unsure whether he should have listened to his parents or not, he always remembered what his Grandfather once had told him:
“The pessimist sees difficulty in every opportunity. The optimist sees opportunity in every difficulty." and you could say that’s why he didn’t view life as a struggle, but rather as an opportunity every day.
His charisma was overall exceptional, he was even hired as a government representative in Canada to decrease ethnic tensions with French Canadians.
His results on these operations were rather exceptional, he was able to ease out tensions and overall help improve relations between English Canadians and French Canadians.
His work did not go unnoticed, his charisma was exceptional and a reward would soon arrive his way.
While on a trip he was passing through the Saskatchewan province where he was stopped by local police for a regular routine check, his documents were valid and, just before he could continue his trip, they asked him to step out of his car for a routine check, he was knocked unconscious and transported into a military compound.
After staying a dark room for hours not knowing what was happening, a man in a suit appeared before him.

DEA Agent Amadeus was one of a kind, after his induction in the months following he had many times helped the Foundation through negotiations and raid defence from the Chaos Insurgency while also improving relations with the UNGOC, you could say that he really had earned his place there.
Why did he want to do this job you may ask? Well, for the good of the people out there, that’s what he had always believed in.
To him there is no moral black or white, but rather different shades of grey, and that is why he also believes in the Foundation’s cause, the anomalies could be studied to overall better humanity’s understanding of the paranormal.
2 years later, at the age of 27, he had already earned the rank of Senior Agent and was working his way up through the DEA’s Chain of Command. One day, he was contacted by an Ethics Committee Member [REDACTED] where he was requested to come to the Ethics Committee Offices.
Ethics Committee Member- Hello, Amadeus.
Senior Agent Amadeus- Hello sir, how can I help you?
Ethics Committee Member- In the past 2 years of you working for us, you have been able to improve external relations numerous times, you have become one of our most trusted Agents. The question I am asking you is, do you perhaps want to achieve something bigger in this organisation?
Senior Agent Amadeus- Well sir, whatever I can do to help the SCP Foundation, I will do sir.
Ethics Committee Member- I have read your file, you say that you believe there is not moral black and white, but rather different shades of grey, could you elaborate on that?
Senior Agent Amadeus- Of course, I believe that anything that we do for a moral reason cannot be considered completely right nor completely wrong from a moral perspective but rather darker shades of white or black.
The act of Murder for example, is done for a reason by us human beings to others, what we do it for may vary but from a moral perspective it will never be completely good nor completely bad.
Ethics Committee Member- What do you think about our organization instead? Would you say it might be the only exception to that black or white moral?
Senior Agent Amadeus- Our organization is rather particular, we all do this to protect humanity but we must ensure we don't hide behind our mission and abandon our moral values.
