Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I’m applying for site advisor as I feel as if it’s a natural point for my progression within the server. I have served as a Departmental Leader, which I adored doing. This role, for me, encompasses all the things that I love doing within the server. It’s a healthy mix of being available and managing departments. This role takes pretty much everything I loved about being a Departmental Leader and pushes it to the max, and I'm ready to challenge myself.What makes you suitable for Site Administration?
I believe I’m suitable for the role of Site Administration for a multitude of reasons, however I feel as if the most important one is my activity and willingness to help around the site. I have prior experience in a Sr. CL4 role, meaning that I know how to manage a team and ensure that it's effective and fun for everyone to play through this, I have an understanding of how to maintain departmental health. Furthermore, I have prior experience in policy creation, so I’m comfortable developing and debating policies that address the route issue of the problem it’s trying to solve. I’m also quite approachable and I intend to play my character as such. I genuinely just want to see other departments thrive and play a part in making sure that that does happen.What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?
SA have a lot of different things on their plate they have to do, however I believe the most important are as follow:
- Overseeing regimental and departmental leadership and ensuring that the departments are operating efficiently.
- Authorising AA
- Authorising ERT
- Authorising passive breaches for RP
- Authorising FSL
- Being a monthly liaison to departments
- Managing site-wide policies
- Managing GOI relations with the site
- Acting as the first point of contact with wider FCOM
- Being a friendly face, here to help.
