Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?
I'm applying for Inspector because I want to do more in ISD than I currently can as an Investigator. I have enjoyed my time in the department a lot, both as Agent and Investigator, and I feel like Inspector is the next step where I can actually start helping the department more instead of only handling things as they come up. What I enjoy most about ISD is not really just arresting people, but looking into situations properly, figuring out what actually happened, and making sure the FLC is being used fairly. I also want to be able to help other ISD members more, especially newer Agents or Operatives who might be unsure about charges, reports, or how far they should take a situation. I think I am ready to take on more responsibility, and I want to keep improving while also being more useful to ISD as a whole.
What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
I think I am suitable for Inspector because I usually try to slow down and actually figure out what happened before deciding on a charge or punishment.. I have spent a lot of time learning the FLC, Site Policy, and ISD procedure, and I try to apply them based on what actually happened rather than just what something looked like at first. I am also willing to ask questions when I am unsure, which I think is important because ISD situations are not always simple and pretending to know everything usually just makes things worse. As Inspector, I think I could help other ISD members with charges, reports, evidence, and general decision making, while also making sure I am still improving myself. I care about ISD and I want to help it stay active, fair, and not turn every situation into more of a mess than it needs to be.
What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
To me, an ideal Inspector is someone who can not only lead by example, but do so while still being helpful, approachable, and, ideally, at least a little friendly. Of course, they should have a strong understanding of Site Policy, the FLC, and departmental policies, especially those relating to ISD, but simply knowing the rules is not enough. An Inspector should know how to apply them fairly, be confident enough to make difficult decisions when they are needed, and be willing to explain those decisions to both ISD members and other personnel. They should also be someone newer members feel comfortable approaching with questions, whether that be about charges, reports, investigations, or general procedure. Above all, I think an Inspector should be someone who helps the department grow even if that's just by teaching, supporting, and setting the standard that they expect others to follow.
How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
I have not made any major roleplay serving documents.. That being said, I do understand what a document of this nature should be and what makes one good in terms of quality.
- Purpose - The document should actually have a reason to exist, not just be made for the sake of having a document.
- Formatting - It should be easy to read and not look messy. Headings, sections, and spacing matter a lot.
- Spelling and grammar - It does not need to be perfect, but mistakes should not make the document hard to understand.
- Accurate information - Policies, charges, SCP information, names, ranks, and events should be correct.
- Enough detail - It should explain enough that someone who was not there can still understand what happened or what the document is for.
- Not filled with useless stuff - Longer does not always mean better. It should have useful information, not filler.
- RP value - A good document should support RP in some way, whether that is recording an event, helping an investigation, proposing something, or giving other people something to respond to.
- Evidence / images - Screenshots, logos, bodycam, or images should actually support the document and not just be added to make it look fuller.
Attached however, is a document that contributed a bit to my roleplay as a techie, many months ago. (This document is not perfect by any means, and includes spelling, and grammatical errors, as well as NOW incorrect FLC references, though at the time of it being brought to SA and SC, it was accurate)

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
- Managing ISD on site - Help keep ISD organized, especially when things are busy or when lower ranks are unsure what they should be doing.
- Training and inductions - Train new Agents and Operatives, and help newer ISD members learn how arrests, charges, etc.
- Helping with FLC questions - Help with charges, reports, evidence, and situations where the answer is not immediately obvious.
- Investigations - Assist with or lead investigations when needed, especially if the situation is serious, unclear, or involves higher clearance personnel.
- Handling issues involving ISD - Deal with complaints, mistakes, or concerns involving ISD personnel, and push things further up the Chain of Command if needed.
- Representing ISD - Act as a point of contact for other departments or site leadership when something involves ISD.
- Creating RP - Help give ISD more to do through investigations, operations, assignments, and interdepartmental work.
- CL4 duties - Handle blast doors, FSL, AA when needed, and other site matters.
Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:
I think I would be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security because I try to handle situations fairly, and I do not like rushing into decisions without understanding what actually happened first. ISD leadership needs to be able to guide people, answer questions, and make decisions that are backed by policy and evidence, not just personal opinion or assumptions. I have spent my time in ISD learning the FLC, Site Policy, and ISD procedure, and I try to ask questions when I am unsure instead of pretending I know everything. I also think I can be approachable while still being serious when needed, which is important because Agents and Operatives should feel comfortable asking for help, but also understand when something needs to be handled properly. As a leadership holder, I would want to help keep ISD active, support newer members, assist with reports and investigations, and make sure ISD members are confident enough to take action when needed while still being careful enough to justify what they are doing.
Character Lore
Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Benny McQuail’s lore is attached below in personnel dossier format. In short, Benny is a former Canadian military engineering technician who was recruited into the Foundation through a technical route, later assigned to Site-43, and eventually reassigned after a restricted internal incident and approved amnestic review. His later movement into ISD reflects retained habits around documentation, policy, incident review, and internal accountability. As an Inspector, he would focus on making sure, agent & operatives are onboarded, arrest reviews, misconduct investigations, and making sure ISD applies its authority properly.
