Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
The reasoning behind my application for Executive Researcher is that I want to offer a guiding light to new researchers, create an amazing place for them to flourish, and aid them in their research endeavors. I guess you could say my primary objective is to provide assistance and help those within the research department to flourish. Secondarily, I would like to assist other departments in their endeavors, such as signing sampling and research documents, starting multi-department research projects and aiding in the creation of inter-departmental policies to bridge that gap and bring life and roleplay to those who wish to work with other departments. Let's be honest, there's also the fact that I can have fun doing CL4 SCPs experiments and bring CL3s along on research projects and have fun with the community in that way too.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?
I Belive the thing that makes me suitable Executive Researcher, Is that I focus on creating high quality documents and I am willing to aid newer or inexperienced with document production researchers in creating solid and well made documents. I am extremely active usually 6 to 12 Hrs every day. I love to help create roleplay, If given the chance I will be more than happy to create fun and engaging Research projects. I am very knowledgable of the SCP community and lore.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written?
I have written a total of 5 excellent grade documents. In order of which I wrote them: SCP-860, SCP-330 Identification of Effects, Biological Capabilities & Limits, SCP-457 Chemical Testing, Personality & Recollection. Admitently these are the only documents I have written, however while I haven't written many documents I mostly focus on the overall quality and detail of each one.
What makes a document excellent?
I believe an excellent document is new and creative, full of passion, includes well-placed and meaningful pictures, features a solid and easy-to-follow format, and offers a simple-to-read index for easy navigation. It is overall well-made and, most importantly, full of character.
There is also the generally expected sections to a document: Cover Page, Index Page, Aims/Goals and Objectives, Testing Method, Risk assessment and Safety Protocols, Test Report, Conclusion, Depending on the test Authorization.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?
Guiding other research department personnel ideally the newer or inexperienced Jr Researchers
The Creation of Roleplay or assisting in the creation of Roleplay for the department
Approving documents for uploading to SCIPNET
Being a reliable person that members of RSD can approach for assistance or the approval of documentation.
Performing the duties of a junior CL4 such as turning on the lighting opening/closing blast door, calling in ERT, calling codes and so on.
Performing tests ideally bringing other researchers on the tests and where possible bring researchers on tests 1 clearance level above them.
When researchers are breaking policy it's important to gently guide them away from it and explain what it is they are doing wrong and how they can go about things correctly. If said researcher continues to egregiously break policy potentially job ban them from RSD.

Bethany was born on the northern side of Plymouth on August 5, 1999, to her parents, Maya and Derek Doe. She was raised in a bungalow throughout her childhood. Bethany always showed a great interest in chemicals ever since she first discovered chemistry in senior school. From this, she ventured down the route of becoming a chemist through most of her late teens and college. Following this, she managed to get an apprenticeship at a prestigious chemical R&D lab while she made her way through university. After several years, she finally made her way through university; however, she felt a void—a constant yearning to create something new and to explore the unexplored. This yearning and void led her down the route of the anomalous and occult, believing that maybe there is a way to bridge the gap between the hypothetical anomalous and chemistry.

Bethany was first noticed by the Foundation during her tenure at a chemical research and development lab in the UK. They became interested in her due to her strange obsession with all things anomalous and occult, trying to bridge the gap between (as far as she was aware at this time) the hypothetical anomalous and chemistry to further advancement in chemical research, particularly the effects on biological life. However, the thing that ultimately drew them to induct her was the strange occurrences of memetic hazards seemingly being drawn to her, resulting in two incidents where the Foundation had to administer Class-A amnestics. The foundation believed it was best to have her working on for them where she could further advancements in her field to aid the foundation with its cause, and would allow for any potential memetic hazards that are seemingly drawn to her to be researched and contained.
