Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I have been part of the Research Department since my first day on the server and while at first I was a bit skeptical about the job roles, as time went on and more people helped me out, I started to really enjoy it. Most of my time has been spent conducting tests, writing documents
and interacting with people from all departments.
There are several reasons why I am applying for Executive Researcher, from the selfish desire of progressing through the Research Department hierarchy to wanting to create different roleplay scenarios for myself, the rest of the Research Department personnel, and other members of the Site.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?
While I do imagine that there are better candidates than me, I believe Im suitable for Executive Researcher for several reasons. I like to create roleplay scenarios that allow the players involved to be creative with their actions and decisions, giving them opportunities to play their characters however they want (PROJECT: Keep Up with the SCPs). While sometimes these scenarios end a bit badly, a good example is the Cannibal meet up situation which, while it was really fun for the Research Department, the SCP and the D-Class involved, it did end up causing some casualties from the E-11.
I also love helping new members of the Research Department by explaining how everything works, from Clearance Levels and the ACS to how documents and sampling permits work. I also like giving them a small tour of the Site, pointing out where the different departments are located and where the CL1 SCPs are. I think this last part is quite important because I myself got lost far too many times around the Site when I first joined
(And still now I get lost on Heavy).
During my time as a Senior Researcher and later as a Specialist Researcher, I also helped a lot of people with their documents, offering criticism and pointing out areas where they could improve or adapt their work, which is honestly my favorite part of the job and would love to continue doing it as an Executive Researcher.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
There are several things that make a document excellent, from its structure to what it contains. A document that deserves an Excellent grade needs to contain a lot of detail and information about the test or study conducted, have almost no spelling mistakes and include some pictures to allow the reader to interpret the text in a more detailed way.
In my honest opinion, however an Excellent document is one that helps other Research personnel and even members of other departments clearly understand an SCP, whether its their anomalous properties or their personality. It should serve as a good source of information for anyone who needs to learn more about a specific SCP.
I have written a few Excellent graded documents, five I believe although I'm not entirely sure. I have conducted an interview with SCP-049 about his opinions on modern medicine (Document SCP-049 and Modern Medicine), one where I timed how long D-Class personnel took to go down and up SCP-087 and sketched the face they reported seeing (PROJECT: Sonic), one where I gave SCP-073 a multiple-choice history quiz (Document SCP-073 and the History Quiz) and I have uploaded two documents from my main research into SCP personalities (PROJECT: Keep Up with the SCPs – CL1 and CL2).
There are also other documents, like Study: Crybaby, Project: Zomboid, and SCP-22503 (the SCP file for an event SCP). I either do not remember the grades they received or they have not been graded yet.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
One of the main responsibilities of an Executive Researcher is creating and encouraging roleplay for the rest of the Research Department, either by creating projects that all RSD members can contribute to, organizing roleplay scenarios with the Game Masters that other members can participate in or helping researchers turn their more roleplay heavy test ideas into reality by accepting them.
They are also expected to help other RSD personnel, whether by giving their opinion on their documents to help them improve or by helping new members settle into Site-65. The reputation of the Research Department is also closely tied to Executive Researchers, as their actions reflect on the department. So they should always behave well while also ensuring that the rest of the department follows the rules and does not tarnish its reputation.
Another responsibility is grading documents. Executive Researchers are expected to read and grade the documents uploaded to SCIPNET, as well as provide constructive feedback on what can be improved and what has been done well.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
If someone asked BIllie about her childhood, she would probably answer, "Average." There were no mysterious disappearances, no abusive parents and no hidden destiny. She was simply a girl who wanted to stay home and play with her dolls in her own little world. Ironically the most unusual thing about her was actually her name. Her birth certificate read BIllie Rosevelt, not Billie. BIllie.
Her mother had insisted that the second letter should be capitalized because she thought it would make her stand out in a good way. The nurse at the hospital told her that names did not work like that but she was so convinced it was a brilliant idea that she refused to listen. The paperwork was rejected twice because the officials believed it contained a typo but her mother pushed for the name to remain BIllie.
As a result, BIllie spent the rest of her life explaining that her name did not contain a typo or a printing error. The capital I was intentional.
At the age of eight, BIllie mother died from an autoimmune disease, leaving her with nothing but memories... and a rather unfortunate name.

BIllie never wanted to study Biology. She cared very little about how the human body functioned or its anatomy. What truly fascinated her was the human mind. However, her aging father strongly encouraged her to pursue Biology and she didnt have the heart to disappoint him.
Instead, she settled for a major in Biology and a minor in Psychology, the best of both worlds in a way.
Her time at university was uneventful. She kept mostly to herself, hoping to finish her studies as quickly as possible. What she hadnt expected was how difficult it would be to find a job afterward. After months of searching, she finally secured a position as a laboratory technician at a small pharmaceutical company.
Life continued normally after that. She got married, later divorced and continued working in the same field for several years until one day she received a letter from a company called “Window Solutions”. They invited her to attend an interview for the position of Junior Researcher, not because of her background in Biology but because of a psychology research paper she had written during her university years.
Naturally, BIllie searched the company online. It appeared completely legitimate, complete with a professional website and everything else one would expect. So she decided to attend the interview.
After all, what did she have to lose?

The headquarters of Window Solutions stood near downtown. The building was almost entirely made of glass and it was beautiful, so beautiful, in fact, that BIllie felt strangely uncomfortable walking inside.
To be honest, everything from entering the building to signing the employment paperwork became a blur in her memory.
Window Solutions wasnt an ordinary company.
It was one of the many front organizations operated by the SCP Foundation, an organization BIllie had never even heard of.
That revelation, however, did not stop her from packing all her belongings, taking her daughter and animals and relocating across the globe to Canada.

After the initial shock of learning what the Foundation actually contained and studied wore off, BIllie adapted surprisingly quickly. She rose through the ranks of the Research Department at a remarkable pace, discovering that she genuinely enjoyed her work.
Eventually, she proposed a research initiative that aimed to understand the Foundation sentient anomalies on a personal level.
No matter how much people denied it, sentient SCPs possessed personalities, desires, fears and even dreams. BIllie believed that understanding them as individuals, not merely as anomalies, could help researchers predict their behavior, improve containment and maybe make the world just a little bit safer.
BIllie is currently doing the Keep Up with the SCPs interviews with several SCPs and is also going to try to continue PROJECT: M.I.N.D., a termination attempt for SCP-682 that needs to be shown to work by being tested on D-Class personnel. Also, BIllie is always free to join other people storylines.
