Have you received any kicks/bans/warnings? and why?:

No.

Why are you applying for Internal Affairs Ambassador?:
Being an Ambassador for Internal Affairs is quite an exciting prospect filled with challenges and rewarding duties. They are enforcing the Foundation Legal Codex seeing those who cause disruption rot in confinement. Knowing you stopped someone abusing, misusing or committing treason is rewarding. I am applying to continue that cycle and help agents start that cycle to keep the department excelling.

As an Ambassador, my primary focus would be to uphold the professionalism associated with IA, promote calm action and punish rude agents who choose to insult those in their care. Like other Ambassadors, be a role model for those who hope to be IA and train them to become the IA they want to be. I would also encourage independent thinking in said agents to know how to apply the Foundation Legal Codex and when. When to arrest or report all small parts of the job which are difficult to portray in documents or lectures.

IA receives the brunt of people's emotions, complaints and worries. As an Ambassador, I seek to Enforce the Foundation Legal Codex while using my mind and experience to help prevent people from breaking the codex and educate new agents to do the same.

What makes you suitable for Internal Affairs Ambassador?:

While at IA, I have seen and dealt with many things. Your biggest tool is your voice, being able to talk to individuals like the humans they are and give them respect and time to talk about their reasonings and concerns. Not only does this give you a better idea of the context of a situation, but it also means people are more likely to confess accidentally to what they have done if you come across calm and non-combative. I use this tool daily; it has more than once helped when dealing with hot-headed individuals. This mentality applies to the rest of my duties as IA, from arresting to observing, using my voice in a calm, collected manner, always acting professionally and treating people with respect. People who don't have to help you typically will due to your reputation as a fair and calm individual. This mentality also applies if needing to step in when a suspect has gotten under another agent's skin and allowing that agent to calm down before they do something they regret.

One important thing is talking to fellow agents and informing a different perspective on a person's violations or what I would do in their circumstances so they don't feel alone. I often find being alone in IA is sometimes intimidating as people have tried to talk down to me and force me to change my view on things to try and change the outcome of an arrest. As an Ambassador, I will stand behind Agents and defend them when they have done the right thing.

I will admit I have made mistakes during my time as IA. Still, I have learnt from those mistakes, and with a clear mind, I learnt the qualities desired in an Ambassador and striven to achieve them.

How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
In m lifetime, I have written many documents mainly from OOC sources from previous staff management experience. B t I have also written a few documents in my time already. To my knowledge, all were approved, and my research one has been given Excellent.

There's always room for improvement, but all good documents are based on core principles:
  • A Clear Purpose:
Understanding the document's objective, determining who will be reading the document, and the language you need to use are persuading, instructing, etc.
  • Plan and Structure:
Templates work great here; knowing what needs to be included so you can organize your facts in a clear, concise effective document. The Ar est Report Template simply allows for all needed content to be had without introducing fluff.
  • Clear Language:
Be Concise, inform, don't bore. Avoid jargon, overtechnical details, and excessive acronyms. Keep language plain and simple so all readers can understand your points and arguments.
  • Formatting and Evidence:
Breaking up the document with line breaks, headings, and sub-headings helps to pace the reader. It also helps to highlight important text without it being lost in a massive paragraph. Visual aids such as diagrams from findings or evidence help sell your points.
  • Review and Revise:
You will make mistakes, you will find these mistakes if you proofread. Take t me to review what you have written; read it out loud does this sound natural? Does the context and content match?

The big overarching thing here is "Clarity with depth" Knowing how to be detailed while being clear is one of the biggest challenges when writing documents this is a challenge I understand.

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Affairs Ambassador in RP?:
I will be basing my answer on the IA information hub with my interpretation of them.

Elevated Responsibilities when it comes to enforcing FLC against:
  • Leading/Assisting in FLC Violation Investigations against personnel for extended periods while maintaining professionalism.

Recruitment and Management of IA Members:
  • Training/Lectures: new members and providing refreshers to those who need them.
  • Station Assignment: Different POIs get different priorities depending on the code/lack thereof.
  • Praise and punishment: Crediting personnel for Professional conduct that promotes RP and upholds the departments' standards. While not allowing individuals to damage the department's reputation by abusing power etc.
  • Overseeing: Supervise IA Agents/Operatives in their daily duties, ensuring IA themselves are not breaking the FLC and Department Policies.
  • Approving Arrest Reports.
As a Junior CL4 member:
  • Blast Door/Electrical room duty: Closing appropriate blast doors (mainly PW) during major C1 and allowing Tech experts to repair boxes etc.

Please give some lore about your Internal Affairs Ambassador character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- from: SCP Foundation Administration (scpsa@sa.scp.fo)
- to:
Department Director Charles "Ze" Whittme (iad@scp.fo)
- sent:

- subject: (---CLEARANCE LEVEL 3----) Personel Dossia "Bobby 'Regent' Trillster"

Name:Bobby 'Regent' Trillster
Department:Internal Affairs
Role:Agent
Clearance Level:3
Age:28
Nationality:British
Race:White
Height:5ft 10in
Previous Occupation:Corporate Counter-intelligence Agent.

Bobby 'Regent' Trillster recently came into the custody of the foundation during a routine 'John Doe' check in the town of Pinewood. Upon contact with Agency Agents, Bobby was irritated and unsettled. During the course of the interview, it was revealed that Bobby came from a long lineage of law enforcement, surrounded by pillars of justice. He was compelled to uphold this strong sense of duty and pursuit of truth.

This led to his education in criminology and eventual degree at the University of Lincoln. Bobby was then recruited by a high-profile robotics monopoly for Human Resources which was a cover for preventing corporate espionage operations against it. During his time with the company, a GOI (██████ Robotics) attempted to steal corporate secrets via the complex use of SCP-1360 (Before current containment). When Bobbyy observed SCP-1360, he attempted to investigate but was disarmed and rendered unresponsive. Bobby reports awakening in the forest surrounding Pinewood and seeking civilisation due to trauma-induced amnesia; he did not remember his name at the time, but through medical efforts, Pinewood was able to reclaim some memory at the time of Agents' arrival.

After further questioning, the Agents were able to determine Bobby's ability to detect and confront SCP-1360 alongside his history as a Counter-intelligence Agent, showing promise to become a Foundation asset due to the Candidates' Survival and background.

Following initial recruitment steps and onboarding documents. The candidate showed interest in transferring his current skills to the Department of internal affairs after briefing about various components of the foundation.

His work as an Agent of Internal Affairs has already led to multiple arrests and has an active role in responding to calls for IA's aid.

Thank you for reading!

For those in IA who have had no interactions with me yet I be more then happy to sit down and have a chat with you :)

Hi Bobby,

I'd love to talk to you in game, but my home internet is down right now so I'm typing this on my phone. We already spoke yesterday about this topic, and about ambassador related things. Stuff like documentation, and leadership, and other duties. You showed yourself to be a very mature and astute person, and right now are one of our better agents, showing lots of activity in the role. Further, your application is very detailed, showing a clear understanding of what IA is, what duties you will be taking up, and you share my vision for what IA should be which I very much appreciate.

However, you have only been a part of IA for 6 days, and have been on the server for 3 weeks. I think you are capable to take up the role, but I am not so sure whether you have the experience needed yet to take up the role. I applied for Ambi after a month and a half, and even then only after I got essentially told to by the ambassador team.

I think you should take some more time to get to know the server, its community, and the multitude of roles that are available to play as. Progress further within E11, stay as IA for longer, maybe even join a GOI like CI or GOC. Spend your time learning about the different aspects of the server, so that you can obtain a more well rounded perspective.

I encourage you to apply in the future after you've gained more experience, but until then I can't give my support right now. I hope to see you continue in your journey within IA, as you show a lot of potential to be unlocked.

Hey Bobby, I Will give you +/- Neutral.

+App is detailed and well-made.
+/- I haven't seen you much on IA
+/- your playtime is low.

As @Auburn ( sorry for tag) Already said your playtime and experience are low/not enough to make a good judgement of your skills as an IA agent. I see you joined E11 I hope you grow within the regiment. So i can get to know you better and make this verdict A +Support.

Good luck with your application,
Greeting
SGT "Holland"

Application Denied

Good day, Agent Bobby.

Thank you for taking the time to fill out the application form, we truly appreciate your interest and effort. After discussing with the ambassador team, we concluded that you are currently not qualified for the position.

At the moment you have shown yourself to be a good Agent, however we feel that you lack the experience yet. We wish for you to gain more experience on site before we entrust you with a CL4 position.

If you want further information, please do not hesitate to contact me or any of the ambassadors. Do not let this discourage you from reapplying in the future.

You may re-apply in two weeks.

Kindest Regards,
Dpt. Director of Internal Affairs Charles "Ze" Whitmee
