Why are you applying for Site Advisor?:

I will be applying for the position of Site Advisor because, after being in Site Administration, I know first-hand the RP you are able to create with players all over the server. I am also applying because I know I'm more suited in a management position, and that is why Site Administration is perfect for me. One aspect of SA I do really enjoy is the fact that you are not managing one department; you are managing the whole site, which creates a whole new experience, which is what I miss quite a lot from SA. Furthermore, I really like the current server RP loop and how the server is heading right now, and I would like to be a main part of the server once again as the position of Site Advisor, where I am able to work with others in Site Administration and with other departments to really improve the server as much as I can.

What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:

I am suitable for the position of Site Advisor mainly due to my experience.

Internal Security Department
I became Commissioner twice, which really boosts my experience in administration and leading a team during difficult times or when performing certain duties in ISD. Another thing I managed to do while in ISD was sort out the documentation. This is when I transferred Google documents onto In-Game documents, which improves my documentation skills while also keeping the archive up to scratch. Furthermore, ISD has mainly improved my leadership skills, which I would say is a MUST in Site Administration, as you will be tasked with leading situations.

Overseer Assistant
I have been an OSA twice, and during this time expanded my skills of document creation, which was an important part as an OSA and Site Administration. Boosting my teamwork skills was also done while in OSA when I was working alongside A1 during tasks set by the O5.

Site Administration
Now, this is my absolute main area of improvement and getting more skills. As SA, you need great teamwork, documentation, problem-thinking, communication and leadership. These are all very important for an Advisor, as you never know what tasks you may be faced with. But having these skills is also excellent for being an active role model for people below you in the chain of command. An important note is that my first time in SA, where I had to work with a broken administration with no leadership; I was sorting out interviews, site policies GOI relations and complaints. However, it all paid off when the SA team started to grow into a bigger and better team, where we managed to mend site policies faster that before.

Ethics Assistant
Although I have not been an ECA for long, I have definitely learned a lot more on the Ethics Side. ECA has been great and has shown how I can work effectively with O1 and fellow Assistants, which further demonstrates my teamwork skills. Since joining the server this time round, ECA has been excellent for me to get back into the just of being in an administration position, which makes me a great candidate for Site Advisor.

What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:

Appointment of Department/Regiment leaders

Site Administration is responsible for finding the right candidate for these following positions: DEA Director, RSD Director, Medical Director, Chief of Security and Commanders for both E-11 and Nu-7. Ways to find the perfect candidate for Chiefs and Directors, is to lookout for applications and review them. If they are good enough then they are to be accepted and if they are poor then to be denied. Once accepted SA also conduct an interview on the candidate to find out if they are a good candidate.

Monthly Liaisons of Departments

Every month an Advisor is tasked by acting as a liaison for a Department or MTF Regiment. When a Department has a direct liaison with a member of SA it makes it easier for both SA and the Department when it comes to getting in contact with one and another when the Department needs SA assistance. That SA member is also tasked with overviewing that Department. This is when SA looks for faults or rooms for improvements and alerts the Department's Leadership. This will then let the Department be better that how it was the month before.

Authorisation of Tests

Site Administration are able to authorise 008 tests if the document is sufficient enough and all safety requirements are made. They may also authorise the closure of certain sections of the site during the test. When an SCP is breached and is not causing any harm, and E11 give the all clear that this breached SCP is not causing any harm then a member of SA is then able to authorise a passive breach. This will help the RSD when it comes to having a SCP interact with foundation staff.

Handle the Site during codes

It is important that SA are able handle the site during codes. This can be done by making sure there is active communication between combative and also advising non-combative personnel to ensure their safety. If there is a Code 5, SA are able to authorise techniques to tackle the Code 5. For example, Advanced Armoury and Emergency Response Team. If the breach is sever then a code black is able to be called. During the Code Black SA must ensure swift evacuation of non-combative personnel.

Managing GOI relations in conjunction with DEA

When it comes to Site Administration dealing with GOI relations it is important for them to work closely with DEA. Keeping DEA up to date with all external changes and updates is a very important job for SA to make sure is done. This also goes for DEA, making sure SA is in the loop with all GOI relations is very important because if SA feel like a deal won't work then it's important to have SA there to veto any arrangements.

Site Awareness/ Policy change and creation

It is very important for members of SA to know what is going on around the site at all times. This is to make sure everything is going well and to make sure the site is working like clock work. When it comes to policies SA needs to be aware about the site to see what changes need to be made to certain policies or if any new policies are to be created. For example, when I was in SA there was a poster tax policy that were not kept up to date. The SA team I was in was aware that there was far too many posters on site and boosted the poster tax policy back up.

Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Brayan Murry started work with the SCP Foundation in quiet determination and eagerness for adherence to procedure. He began as an Investigator. Reports about his abilities soon surfaced that he was the man who could see those patterns most usually missed by others, piecing together scattered reports, cross-referencing records, and spotting inconsistencies. When properly addressed, this would indicate much deeper problems within operations. Senior staff noticed his detailed work and calm disposition; he was promoted to Inspector within a few years.
In that position, Murry started getting famous for his calm ways of resolving extremely volatile situations. When conflicts between departments became intense, he could act as a mediator without pushing any side away from him, and thus earn the trust of Security Officers and Research Directors on both sides. His balanced approach to enforcement — firm when necessary but always rooted in fairness — made him a valuable asset. He finally got an appointment as Commissioner, in which he was supposed to have oversight over several departments simultaneously. It is at this point that he came up with the notion that leadership works best when it supports rather than controls those under its care.

Once Brayan Murry managed to apply and get accepted to join the Site Administration team, he finally used this as an opportunity to excel and fly in his career. He managed to help rebuild SA from the ground up and get it on its legs again. Once in SA and after he was promoted to manager, he started to gain a significant amount of weight, which led to his obesity problem. This eventually led to Brayan getting in contact with the ethics committee to try and seek a solution. The solution was something that Brayan feared the most. A diet. Even in the presence of hearing that word, Brayan was close to moving away until he was forced to go on one by the Ethics Committee. Over time, Brayan managed to lose his weight, leading to an increase in productivity in SA.

Since Brayan began his weight-loss journey, he has taken a long holiday away from the site. During this time, Brayan became healthier and adopted a sustainable diet, allowing him to re-join the foundation once again. Once back in the Foundation, he applied for the open Ethics Committee Assistant position, where he was eventually accepted. During his time in the Ethics Committee, he worked closely with Omega-1 and the Ethics Committee Members, creating a better workplace for him. However, since returning to the site, Brayan started to lose track of his diet entering his old ways of eating in the past. This situation was quickly discovered by the Committee and acted upon by the Medical Department; since that episode, Brayan has managed to keep himself fit and healthy. Unfortunately, Brayan started smoking, and two months later the Medical Department are still trying to get him to stop.

Yours sincerely,
Brayan Murry

Hey Brayan what RP have you created recently as of coming back?
Hello! Since coming back, I started in E11 as you know, and during that time I was able to create some short but consistent RP with fellow E11 and some RSD. However, after my 3-week LOA I went for ECA, and during that time I created RP with ISD to do with a small murder investigation and more. Also with leading Audits on certain departments, which always makes some RP. I would be able to name some more, but I am unable to remember any great big ones since I came back. I aim for short but consistent RP rather than long story lines. However, I was aiming to start one with RSD and if I get SA then I would be able to do a lot more. If I do think of any other small RP scenarios I have created, I will be sure to let you know!

How will this time as SA be different than your last?

Since this might be my second time in SA I know how to do a lot more things than I could the last time. Meaning that I can get straight into creating RP. To me, creating RP is most accessible in a SA/FCOM position. This is because you are not just in one department; you are looking after the whole site. And creating RP while in SA is a lot easier for me.

What about your external SA duties? How would you go about liaising with other departments and ensuring their needs are met?
