I would like to see and experience a side of the Foundation with which I have already had some contact, but from a non-combative role. I am intrigued by the processes that still elude me and the day-to-day life I could experience in this position. As for what I would bring to the table - I am a fast learner and have already developed an extensive knowledge of SCP Foundation lore, which is why I would place myself above average in that department. I would love to use that knowledge to assist in and partake in exciting, or simply fun, roleplay. And although I have only held the rank of Private, my time in Omega-1 gave me a close-up view of how the Ethics Committee operates - how it oversees personnel conduct and handles situations that require intervention. I have also always had an affinity for administrative and documentation work, which I believe translates well into this role.What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?: They assist Ethics Committee members throughout their duties, whether by accompanying them and independently handling matters that fall below a full committee member's purview, or by acting as their eyes and ears across the site. In the absence of a committee member, they hold a clearance level of 4 in order to uphold and enforce the Code of Ethics.Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:My existence began with an encounter I still cannot fully explain - a meeting with SCP-███, brief and yet defining. Then one night, everything changed. The lights went out, shots were fired, and when the door opened it was not the faces I had grown used to. I was relocated, this time to warmer quarters, where I was educated rather than interrogated. It was here I came to fully understand my own anomalous nature - most notably, my perfect and total recall. Every moment from my earliest memory to the present, preserved without fault.
It was not long before someone took an interest in that ability. A man who carried himself as though he answered to no one made me an offer - a purpose, a position in intelligence where my memory could be put to use. To preserve knowledge, gather it, and finally give meaning to all the time that had passed.
I accepted. And so I found myself a place within the Foundation.
