What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I am applying for the position of Ethics Committee Member.
First of all, I am applying because of my history within the Ethics Committee. I have been an Ethics Assistant for over 1 whole year now and in this time I have worked with lots of Ethics Committee Members, I have seen the entire Committee cycle plenty of times along side around 2 or 3 cycles of Omega-1 and learned a lot from them. E.G. What they mainly do, How they do their job, duties, ETC...
Secondly, I want to help with the current state of RolePlay on the server. While there is still lots thanks to the current O5 Council and AO I believe I can put even more RolePlay in that bunch offering lots of new potential for all departments and make the server fun for others as lots just want to do RolePlay over combat. If I were to get the position I would focus on departments in general but first I would focus on departments of which I think do not get a lot of engagement from the Ethics Committee or general RolePlay first then work my way through the list making sure all my RolePlay is something that everyone involved can enjoy. I also think that this would increase the RolePlay that stems from everyone in other departments due to frequent RolePlay interactions and if not I could advise them to try harder for RolePlay and from this RolePlay it could set a friendly line among players which I think is much needed at this time as I still believe there is unnecessary bad OOC feeling because of in-character things.
Third of all, my focus on Ethics Committee Assistants. In my time as Ethics Committee Assistant, throughout all the Ethics Members I have seen come and go, something ALMOST all of them had in common was that Ethics Committee Assistant was neglected in almost all cases and they were just left as they were. I want to change this and focus on and help Ethics Committee Assistants in any and every way that I can. This can be through advice to progress or what they should be doing and handing out orders and investigations. A second thing I would like to do with Ethics Assistants is to properly establish them. We currently have what was claimed to be a temporary roster but has now just become our roster which is undeveloped in honesty, and I think that they need some actual requirements, E.G: Interact with any order(s) 2 times.
Finally, I think it is a great opportunity for myself. I think this because while I am much better at creating Roleplay now, there is room for improvement, always. I have not created any major RolePlay storylines or Scenarios but I have partook in a good few and carried out RolePlay well then. I believe that if I were to get Ethics Committee Member it could help my RolePlay capabilities extend substantially and that would further help me make the server better for other players.

What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
To begin with what I think makes me the best candidate is my experience with the Ethics Committee. As I previously stated I have been an Assistant with the Ethics Committee for over 1 year now. In that time I have gauged truck loads of information on what it is like to be a Ethics Committee Member for example; What an Ethics Member does, how they do it ETC... This was all previously stated but I still believe it makes me the best candidate.
Secondly, my new character and RolePlay. I have created a new character named Daemon Morris. Before with Cain Morris I did not have any grasp on how to play a character or RolePlay, with Silas, I had a small grasp on it but now I finally have a good hold on how to do so. Now for my RolePlay I am actively improving my RolePlay which is mainly revolving around my character. While I do that I am also simply walking around site and interacting with anyone I can whenever I can.
Finally, I have other good and helpful qualitys. There is leadership, trustworthy, hardworker, a lot more mature, reliable, helpful, professional and active. These all make me the best candidate for Ethics Committee Member as I believe they are necessary qualities for an Ethics Committee Member to have as they will heavily help an Ethics Committee Member do their job and simply be a good Ethics Member.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
The most important one, create Roleplay for the site and everyone on the server!
Keep the Overseer Council in line and execute primary action if it is needed.
Work with fellow FCOM members to manage the site from the shadows.
Oversee the Internal Security Department.
Reprimand any high ranking personnel that have been unethical.
Handle IC complaints on Ethics Committee Assistants.
Appoint a new Omega-1 Commander if there is currently none.
Give MTF Omega-1 orders and investigations to do.
Represent the Ethics Committee / Foundation in meetings and interactions with the GOC.
Represent the Ethics Committee in meetings and interactions with other Foundation staff.
Judge tribunals on high ranking personnel if required.
Authorise the use of Advanced Armoury in the case of a bad breach.
Use Ethics Committee Assistants as proxys and to uphold site-wide ethicality.
Ensure that D-Class are being used and treated appropriately.

Liason with O5 members to discuss current RolePlay on the server or other concerns that should be taken Out Of Character.

Give a input and vote on a Ethics Committee Member application although the Chairman has final say.
Hold meetings with CL4 and CL5 if needed to discuss something important.
Handle OOC complaints on Ethics Committee Assistants.
Review and process demotion appeals if it comes to such a level.
