What makes you the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant?:
So far on the server, I've had an amazing experience as an Overseer Assistant and DEA Special Agent. Having the experience as both an Assistant and Department Leadership has enlightened me on the inner workings of the server and how a CL4 can properly conduct themselves and generate roleplay for people on the site. As an OSA, I've worked closely with members of FCOM which I think is probably the most useful experience I've had in regards to applying for ECA. Being able to both represent your branch of command properly while also taking part in the various roleplay situations around the site is something I've been working on for the past few weeks, and I'm confident the experience can easily be translated into the position of an Ethics Assistant as well. My record OOC is almost completely clean and I've consistently had good interactions with the playerbase and other CL4 staff. I have been able to interact with the Ethics Committee fairly consistently due to my position as an OSA, which has helped me understand their role on the site in much more detail than someone who hasn't. By getting the position of ECA, I hope I can experience the other side of FCOM while maintaining my position as an OSA.

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:

Ethics Committee Assistants first and foremost have the duty of carrying out the will of the Ethics Committee, whether it be through completing orders on behalf of its members, signing documents or attending meetings. This is their top priority when on-site.

In addition, they also have a special role in the legal system of the Foundation, acting as Judges for tribunals on behalf of the Ethics Committee. They may also take on the responsibility of enforcing the FLC and Code of Ethics alongside ISD where necessary.

Finally, ECAs have the standard duties of any Jr. CL4 member of staff, such as authorising AA and signing test documents for members of the Research Department.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Hey Callahan! Would you please provide us with some of the RP you have created/been a part of and what part you played.

Probably the most fun RP I've taken part in on the DEA side is performing an investigation into a CL4 member of GSD as part of one of our operations. To prevent it being leaked, we had to selectively choose people to kidnap and interrogate, and then amnesticate them. It was also done in conjunction with ISD which helped our departmental relations out a lot. Was hoping to do some conflict RP with Site Administration because of the time GOC ADB'd during QRF in conjunction with O-1 but info-reset is gonna happen before I can properly get it going.

As for OSA, I've done dozens of interviews so far, but the most impactful scenario so far has definitely been helping with the arrest, interrogation and transport of Ji-Hoon Woo for his High Tribunal a few weeks back.
