What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
Currently, I'm mainly playing my recently promoted DEA Special Agent which, as a Jr. CL4 role, gives me some initial experience on both the information and responsibilities handed down to CL4 players. Being able to create and lead roleplay situations is something I'd argue I'm particularly reliable at, especially when it comes to adapting to new changes to a roleplay situation to keep it going. Specifically within DEA, we often handle roleplay with other site personnel, such as investigations and interrogations, which is a duty shared indirectly by Assistants. However, as a CL4, I'm also expected to create my own roleplay situations and integrate other players into it, which should be the main focus for OSAs. Considering my department's roleplay being reliant on other players, it has helped over my CL3 career and following on into my CL4 career to take into account the experience of others when roleplaying. Treating this as a collaborative effort goes a long way in getting others to interact with your roleplay environment in a constructive manner.
In regards to me as a person and not my experience, I'm fairly sociable and easy to interact with. Being someone who had a fairly boring new-player experience back in the day, I always try to introduce things for lower-level characters to interact with, such as assistance with operations, or document creation. Furthermore, I'm extremely knowledgeable on the general lore and well-attuned to the atmosphere the O5 carries on Site-65, and hope to properly integrate that into my Assistant character.

What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
The main duty of an Overseer Assistant is to carry out and represent the will of the O5 Council. Contrary to Alpha-1, they take on this responsibility through the more diplomatic, often clerical side. Whether it be through signing documents, attending meetings on their behalf, carrying out interviews or interrogations, anything goes as long as it is by order of the O5.
Alongside their main duties as an Overseer Assistant, they also carry the responsibilities of any CL4 member of staff. This comes in many forms, such as acting as an RP leader where appropriate and taking part in and creating RP situations for the rest of the site to get into. Furthermore, this may include leading groups of players or authorising an SCP's passive breach (though this often falls to E-11/SA).
As an extra note, Overseer Assistants represent the more experienced portion of the server and should be polite, respectful and constructive when interacting with newer players as to maintain the reputation of the server as a Serious Roleplay environment.

Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:
After very recently becoming a Special Agent, I've been introduced to the more serious and heavy roleplay parts of the servers. Contrary to your stereotypical combative new-player experience, you get to properly immerse yourself in the setting, which I heavily appreciate. As for becoming an Overseer Assistant specifically, I've been looking to get into a non-combative CL4 position that can engage in the more passive sides of the server, rather than the combat-heavy, high-tension experience I'll be maintaining in DEA. The options for roleplay seem numerous to an Overseer Assistant, and with the added atmosphere and presence of the O5, I believe it'll be an enjoyable experience to hold. Also, I've been looking to get into some more documentation heavy roles to both practice and employ my non-combative skills, so an Assistant role would be perfect.

Please give some lore about your Overseer Assistant character and what storylines they would be involve:
Rick Callahan's Personnel File
Interview Log #0159A
As an Overseer Assistant, I'm very much looking forward to the conflict that comes with holding a role affiliated with the morally detached Overseer Council. Contrary to other departments, they act only for the benefit of the Foundation, with little regard given to the consequences. This way of thinking can lead to some interesting conflicts with other departments, such as the Ethics Committee, Site Administration and ISD. Furthermore, I'd like to further explore my character's backstory and traits, so being able to lean heavily into cross-character interactions with other experienced players is something I'm looking into.
