Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?:
- When I first joined the server and started getting into RP I quickly found that I enjoyed medical. The interactions I have had with other players as a medic have been some of my favourite, and I wish to take my journey within the medical department to the next step by becoming a member of the medical leadership team.

What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
- I have been learning the ins and outs of medical for the last couple months and believe I am ready to be in a position of leadership within the department. I am already a Combat Medical Specialist and therefore have leadership experience with the duties those entail. I have also carried out a number of other trainings and tests such as the Combative Medical Licencing and the Trainee Licensing under supervision from other consultants.

Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
- Medical Quarantine 101: When a patient is brought in with unusual symptoms that haven't been seen before, the first thing that must be done is to put them in quarantine within inner medbay. All personnel interacting with the patient must wear hazmat protection so that they are not endangered by the potential disease or infection. Once the personnel is in quarantine, we must establish if their condition is in fact infectious. During this time, someone will also be in charge of confirming everyone the patient has been in contact with since they became ill. This is to ensure we round up any other potential cases and quarantine them as needed. Combat Medics will also assist by locking down medbay, and ensuring all who enter present identification and have valid reason to be present. The easiest way to test for any condition is a blood sample. A member of medical will enter the quarantine room in a hazmat suit and take blood samples. They will then come outside and use the nearby microscope to check the blood and get an idea of what it may be. Another possible way, if blood tests are inconclusive, is to request a D-Class be brought to medical quarantine. The D-Class personnel will then be left inside with the patient for observation. While the observation is happening, other medical staff will conduct tests on the blood samples to see what effects different medication has. If we are able to confirm that a medication works, treatment will be administered to any infected personnel as well as the D-Class test subject to ensure their safety, even if they don't present symptoms. Once the condition has been confirmed as no longer present in any patients, we will remove the patients from quarantine and place them in the recovery ward for a brief observation. The quarantine room will also be sterilised via incineration of any contaminated materials. Once the patients are confirmed to be fit for active duty, they will be released from medical.

What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
- Consultants are responsible for overseeing the medical department under the DoMs. They are tasked with ensuring that doctors and combat medics are doing their job correctly and that a high standard of medical RP is maintained at all times. Their duties involve commanding medbay, providing guidance and help to new medical staff, providing medical licenses to trainees and combatives such as Nu-7 medics, and alongside CMS' they provide Combat Medics with their training and whitelisting. Their duties also include documentation work, such as coming up with new procedures or ensuring existing procedures are up to date and ensuring that medical staff who abuse their position within medical or misbehave and give the medical department a bad reputation are swiftly punished and dealt with.

Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
- As a consultant I would carry on the story line from my existing medic. Clark Williams was originally a trainee within Site-12, which is well known as a medical facility. There, an outbreak had occurred of a rare almost incurable disease. Unfortunately due to how many were affected, the Site was short staffed and trainees were given responsibility high above what would be normal as the site did not have the manpower. Clark was put in charge of a ward with 28 patients, but due to the stress and pressure, he had accidentally administered the wrong dosage to the patients in his ward and was responsible for the death of all 28. Riddled with guilt and shame, Clark was fully prepared to face execution. Fortunately for him, he was given a second chance. When the command of Site-12 had reviewed all of the evidence, they deemed it was clear that the pressure had gotten the better of Clark and that as much as this was a drastic case of medical negligence, he did not deserve to be executed for this mistake. Instead, he had his brain rewired to force him to never be able to forget the incident so that he would have to live with the actions he had taken. No amount of amnestics could ever remove the memories. After this, he was banished from Site-12 and sent to one of the most remote sites that could be found, Site-65. Once arriving on site 65, Clark found that the medical facilities were much smaller and less equipped compared to what he was used to, but took it in stride that this was a chance for him to rise above his shame and to reclaim his courage and honour. Clark quickly finished his medical training and became a doctor, and then joined the Combat Medics so that he could assist more effectively during the frequent breaches and CI incursions that plague Site-65. During his time, he has found that while he does enjoy his work in the medical department, especially as he has become their resident amnestics expert, he feels that the violence of a combative role is sometimes to much for him. As a consultant, Clark's journey of redemption will continue as he aims to save every life in front of him to make up for those he took away, as well as coming up with new treatment methods for the various anomalous affects that plague many of Site-65's staff. Clark also will plan to study amnestics further as he aims to come up with a way to make his memory of the events he experienced on Site-12 leave him for good. He has also garnered a bit of an affinity for certain SCPs and enjoys their company and would like to work with them more to see how they can be used to the betterment of Site-65's medical department.
