Steam ID: STEAM_0:0:455512262
Discord name: realvexor
For how long have you played on CG SCP: About 1.5 year to 1.75 year. Not sure.
Age: 19
In what country are you located?: Sweden
Time zone: CEST
Character name(s): Vexor "Vex" Vercurion
Civilian name: Vexor Vercurion
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP UK
Do you have a mic?:
- Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
- Omega 1 Pvt, Alpha 1 Pvt, CI Alpha
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
- I think I got a warning like a year ago but not sure, details are fuzzy. But I was playing tech expert, I know that.
Why are you applying for Medical Consultant?
- Medical leadership is in need of more consultants. There's a ton of people asking for lectures. But, from what I've seen, there's not many being held. I also think it's about time I "move up". I've been playing CM for a little less than a year now? I don't know how many times I've been asked "why aren't you a consultant?", "you apply for consultant/DoM!". I didn't want to, I didn't see a "need". We had several consultants and two DoMs. But with the departure of Prophet and several consultants leaving, I think it's a suitable time.
What makes you suitable for Medical Consultant?:
- Not just an experienced doctor who isn't too shabby at RP, I have many psychological evals under my belt. Not to mention other kinds of checkups. I can write professional and upper grade medical documents. I could also teach new doctors how to make medicine. Already do, but there's still several that ask for help in chat. Not everyone is used to the chem system.
Please explain an in-game medical procedure of your choice:
- I dreamt about psychological evals not too long ago because of ISD wanting me to do so many. So I'm going to explain a simpler one. EST. You ask the one who requested the patient be given EST, even if it's the patient themselves., if the reason is high humes(disguise), no keycard or anomalous in nature. If yes to any of those, then the reason is valid. Next I'd ask the patient if they've been revived before. If no, do they consent? Though consent may not always be required, for example if an IA ambassador says the patient is disguised. If they haven't been revived and they consent, then I tell them they might feel a sting in their neck and to not go towards the light. I throw the harpoon and immediately begin reviving the patient with my defibrillators. Voilà! EST performed!
What are the responsibilities of the Medical Consultant in RP?:
- Guiding/coaching Cl 1/2/3 medbay personnel. Enhancing the RP experience from a medical perspective for other players. Dealing with medical personnel who refuse to adhere to medbay's rules, eg job banning or a stern talking to. Hosting lectures for new doctors. Managing the medbay when a DoM isn't on, to make sure everything is running smoothly and answer any questions.
Please give some lore about your Medical Consultant character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Having served with, what he considers, distinction, Vexor decides he's about done with the life as just a combat medic. He'd risen to the rank advanced combat medic, even being the group's leader, yeah. But he yearns to teach not just his fellow CM how to be better doctors, but also new doctors. Having seen about everything and anything, according to him, Vexor considers himself a suitable candidate for teaching coming doctors. Especially new combat medics, having written a document about how to be a better combat medic. A no-nonsense character, Vexor expects all his doctors to behave and adhere to medbay's rules. But he's lenient enough that while he's quick to punish, he's also as likely to forgive them if he believes they regret their actions and won't consciously do it again. So not unreasonable, of course.
Vexor has been part of raids on enemy bases(off-map/event, not just UN and CI), life threatening radiation leaks where he personally tended to the MTF force handling it, a gameshow where the prize of failure was death(only survivor), the investigation of unidentified SCPs and 939 nests, largescale visits to M&D auctions(personal medic for the SC and ISD attending).
That should be all, if I haven't missed anything that is! Thank you!
