What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
In all my gmod experience I can safely say that I’ve played in many servers and in many different roles. And by playing, I’ve acquired many skills that I usually use while roleplaying, some of which I could apply while playing GOC. For example, something that I learned is how to adapt while playing a role, what to do and how to behave while playing. Or also my combat experience, as I’ve played many FPSes before.
Something else that I could bring is my willingness to learn. In fact, when I do a mistake I try to accept that I have done one and try to fix it in any way I can. And to conclude, I could also bring my leadership skills. Because, as I’ve said, I’ve played in many RP servers before.
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
The first time I joined the server, I noticed how apart from the foundation there were also other factions that I could choose to play with. Noticing how I couldn’t play GOC as it was whitelist only (despite being one of my favorite GOIs), I decided to give CI a try. But unfortunately, it wasn’t for me.
So, today I am writing this application because apart from being one of my favorite GOIs (as I’ve said before), I would also like to experience the gameplay of GOC, as I find really interesting their role as protectors of the citizens. (and of the world).
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
The GOC was also known as Allied Occult Initiative, and it fought against the Thule Society and Ahnenerbe Obskuracorp during WW2. After WW2 concluded, the remaining countries wanted to keep an eye on the anomalous entities and the foundation, so the GOC was founded with over 108 organizations.
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
Physics: They are similar to the various MTFs serving the foundation. They observe, intercept and apprehend anomalies to later neutralize them.
Psyche: They are the diplomatic front of the GOC. They attempt to maintain peace with other GOIs. It is composed of agents who investigate threats and ambassadors who deal with bureaucracy.
Ptolemy: The scientific branch of GOC, which develop new technology for the other members.
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
Their goals are summarised in the fivefold mission:
-Survival: Protect the human race against anomalies at all costs.
-Concealment: Maintain the existence of these anomalies a secret from the citizens to avoid chaos.
-Protect: Defend the individual citizen at all costs, unless it goes against the other missions.
-Destruction: No anomaly must be left alive, as it could doom the entire human race.
-Education: Do not attack without knowledge, but learn and then do it. Unless going against the other missions.
Please explain The Seventh Occult War:
If we talk about The Seventh Occult War, we must talk about the rite of Solomon. A part of the Nazi Regime during WW2, obskurakorps, wanted to perform a ritual (later SCP-3457) that would have gifted them incredible powers. But they needed the 7 keys first. Once done, they would have sealed it with a nazi code that would have let only the “master-race” use it. But they were later found out by the foundation and the Allied Occult Initiative (ex GOC), preventing them to gain the last key.
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
What makes it different in my opinion it is that they do not want to abuse these entities for their own personal gain, but to stop them from harming humanity only. So not like the foundation which also studies them. Another thing that I find interesting is their duty to act as mediators between the other GOIs.

Real Name:
Gabrijel Mislov
Nationality:
Croatian
Gender:
Male
Date of Birth:
27/12/1994
Biographical Information:
Gabrijel was born into a not-so-wealthy family. He managed to pass his exams well, yet the lack of money in his family felt like a rope around his neck, ready to stop his lungs from taking another breath. Once he finished high school, he decided to immediately sign up for the military, as all the books he had to buy to study emptied the wallet of his parents. Once accepted, he noticed how in his squadron there was also a childhood friend of his, Igor. They two were amazing soldiers and managed to gain some good reputation in their squadron. But the downfall happened a couple of years after their recruitment when they had to retrieve a VIP who was taken hostage on a ship in the pacific ocean. At first, once they managed to kill some of the terrorists and take hold of the VIP, completing the main objective, they were happy about it. But once the helicopter which was supposed to rescue them got taken down by another terrorist with an RPG, everything changed. The only way to leave out of there alive was to jump off the ship because the terrorist as last resource decided to blow up the ship’s engine room. Gabrijel and the VIP were already swimming away from the shop, but before making the jump Igor was shot right between the eyes, leaving Gabrijel and the VIP clueless about why he wasn’t already with them. After some time, a nearby boat went near the blown ship to check what did happen and retrieved (with some complications) the two men. Gabrijel realized later how his friend didn’t make it out, but also how that VIP wasn’t just a businessman.
