One reason that I believe makes me the best candidate for Ethics Committee Assistant is that I have in depth knowledge on the site as a whole, I have experienced many different roles for considerable amount of time which has allowed me to gain the knowledge needed to effectively work and act as an Ethics Committee assistant. From my time as an IA agent I have comprehensive understanding of the Foundation Legal Codex and due to that fact I will be able to efficiently and effectively make sure that every department is abiding by this Legal Codex.

Furthermore, as an ECA I believe that I can enhance and positively contribute to any roleplaying that is taking place. My time on DEA has taught me how to well adapt to unexpected events and how to effectively RP my way through said events.

Additionally, another reason I am the best candidate for ECA is my outstanding professionalism, which I have demonstrated consistently throughout my career as an Agent of The Department of External Affairs.

What are the responsibilities of Ethics Committee Assistants in RP?:

One of the main duties for an ECA is to carry out tasks that have been issued by either an ECM or the ECC. These tasks encompass a wide variety of duties and tasks ranging from drafting reports, ensuring that the FLC is being upheld, approving some tests etc. By executing these assignments ECA’s play a crucial part in off loading some of the work for both ECM’s and the ECC which increases the efficiency at which the Ethics Committee operates.

As touched on previously a significant responsibility of an ECA is to ensure that the FLC (Foundation Legal Codex) is being upheld by each department. This task entails actively monitoring and verifying that all departments and personnel across the Foundation are in compliance with the established legal and ethical standards outlined in the Legal Codex. By carrying out this duty ECA’s contribute to ensuring that the integrity of each department is being upheld from a legal and ethical viewpoint

Furthermore, another responsibility of an ECA us to help maintain strict oversight in relation to research so that they can ensure that all tests adhere to the correct procedures and that no researchers or escorting guards violate the FLC. ECAs play a pivotal role in safeguarding the integrity of research by reviewing proposals and monitoring tests conducted by all levels of research.

Another responsibility that can arise for ECA’s to handle is if under certain circumstances such as three or more SCP’s being breached or a mass escape of D class, is Authorising either AA (Advanced Armoury) or the mass termination of D class. However, this situation will only arise if the ECA is the highest ranking person on site.

Please give some lore about your Ethics Committee Assistant character and what storylines they would be involved in:

Dennid's story begins with a tumultuous and challenging upbringing. Born into adversity, Dennid confronted a series of hardships that shaped his character and fostered his resilience, propelling him forward with an unwavering determination to forge a more positive path.

At the age of 18, seeking to escape his broken home and yearning for an opportunity to make a meaningful impact, Dennid joined the Irish military where he was recruited into the Army Ranger Wing where he embarked on a plethora of missions all over the world. During Dennid’s deployment in Liberia in the aftermath of the Second Liberian Civil War he embarked on many counter-terrorist operations as a United Nations Peacekeeper. Dennid’s fantastic reputation eventually caught the attention of the UN where after close observation of both combative skill and mental fortitude was contacted by the UN for a new opportunity.

After a brief introductory period Dennid was officially listed within the UNGOC as a private, this was his first foray into the anomalous world. After spending some time doing operations for the GOC he had continued the trend of having an exceptional reputation for being an excellent soldier, however there was resentment growing within about how the UNGOC operates. After gaining a lot of experience with anomalous objects and entities he became obsessed with learning more about anomalies and began to disagree with the UNGOC’s approach to dealing with said anomalies, this is when he began to pay a much closer eye to the Foundation and their approach to dealing with anomalies.

A few months down the line it seemed that the Foundation had somehow learned of Dennid’s interest in the organisation and he was offered a role within the Foundation’s Department of External Affairs due to his extensive knowledge of the GOC. Just like in previous organisations and regiments he rose through the ranks and found himself as an agency Manager. Dennid had now been a combatant for over 10 years and had recently found himself burnt out and in need of change. This is where the Ethics Committee came in, since joining the foundation Dennid had always had a good relationship with those within the Ethics Committee. Due to this good relationship he contacted them regarding a potential transfer as Dennid wanted to make a difference within the Foundation from a non-combative perspective.

I'm glad to see you've finally applied! I'll start off by saying to anyone reading this, we all knew Dennid could be a bit of a minge back in the day. But I'd personally like to vouch for the fact he has changed for the better and now provides great roleplay for the DEA. He has worked his way up to a Senior CL4 position and has shown dedication and maturity to be able to hold this position.

With that said, I really like your app. You go into a good amount of detail on all questions and your formatting makes it easy on the eyes, which is something I really appreciate. I wish you the best with this application and hope to see you working alongside Hans Dierder in the near future.
