MTF-O1 (PVT) | GOC LCPL | CI | Medical Consultant - Director | Research Executive | ISD&DEA Operative
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
I recieved 1 warning a very long time ago for sitting on and off a chair when 106 approached me, I was warned for minor glitching. I learned from this and have never repated the offense.
Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
My main reason for wanting to apply for Site Advisor is that it has always been an ambition and a goal of mine to reach Site Admin and to become a leader of the site with the wisdom that I have learned over the past year. I have been a CL4 member of the site for a long time and a holder of Sr. CL4 so I know the expectations that come with and feel that I would be a good person with giving advice and overseeing departments around the site.
During my time in medical I spent my CL4 time improving relations with other departments and since returning to the server I have developed a character and a reputation around the site that I feel would be beneficial to Site Administration and something that I want to take advantage of. I feel that I am an approachable member of the site and that others can rely on me with anything that they need.
I suppose my biggest driving factor is the desire to become more involved with the overall running of the site and expanding my vision beyond my own department. I have thoroughly enjoyed my current running time in RSD and feel that I have proven to the site the reason I was given the position and that I am someone who can be trusted in a CL4 position.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
As touched on in the question before there is a couple of points that I feel are relevant to why I would be a suitable candidate and are part of myself as a person and my character;
Leadership
As stated before I have been a member of CL4 staff and Sr. CL4 staff for a good period of time and I feel that during my time in these positions I have proven to myself and to others that I can be a leader. Currently in RSD I am a co-leader of the ANOREP division and I am currently leading a project revolving around SCP-3199 which is overseen by Site Administration. I feel as well during my time in RSD because of our involvement in roleplay (which I will touch on) I have proven myself to be a competent leader of RP and that I can handle big situations that require a calm leader.
Roleplay
Roleplay is a massive part of this server for the most part and is the core value of RSD, I feel with the character I have developed and the situations that I have been involved in either directly or indirectly that I have proven that I am a capable person when it comes to RP and that I can adapt to situations as they arise and also deal with stories that are overarching and longer than just one session.
Approachability
I touched on this briefly in the previous question but I feel that I have gained a reputation as an approachable member of the site and someone that people can come to anything for. I feel I have achieved this really well and it is something that I have consciously chosen to do as I do not want to be seen as a CL4 member of staff that doesn't want to interact with anyone and just sits in their office. I want to be seen and want people to feel they can rely on me for anything they need, this could be simple questions or it can be something very complicated. I feel I have achieved this best within my own department where I feel that everyone feels confident in approaching me and I have shown my friendliness and willingness to engage with others.
Documentation
Lastly I want to touch on documentation, Another massive part of RSD is documenting and organization. I feel I have been able to demonstrate with the documents that I have submitted while being in RSD and the ones that I continue to develop that I am capable of producing a high quality document, I will admit that I do struggle with aspects of it however I feel this doesn't get in the way of my documents and is something that I work on. Organization is another key skill within research and especially at a CL4 level and I have shown this with being an RP leader and with collaboration I have with other departments.
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
Site admin possess a number of responsibilities around the site within RP and are used multiple times on a daily basis, The overarching goal and responsibility of Site Admin is to ensure the day to day running of the site and ensure that it runs smoothly however this is broken down into a number of different areas;
Department overseeing
SA are responsible for overseeing each department that we have here within the foundation. This is done by appointing a liaison that is in constant contact with the department and is there to answer any questions any member of the department may have. During this time they are responsible for ensuring that each department's policies and documents are up to date and correct as well as ensuring communication about any changes around the site is correctly given to the departments. They also during this time review the activity within the department as well as any ongoing projects and sometimes introduce their own projects in an attempt to boost productivity within the department.
Emergency Response
During code 5's Site Administration is responsible for overseeing the breach and ensuring the communication from E-11 to other members of the site is correct and efficient. SA are responsible for authorizing AA during code 5's if they deem this to be necessary and there is a certain threshold depending on the breach which would have to be met for the AA to authorise. If the breach was to be very severe Site Admin would be responsible for issuing the Code Black call and ensuring that all non combatives are removed from the site in a safe and effective manner
Liaisoning
Site admin are responsible for liaisoning between ourselves within the foundation and FCOM as well as GOC via DEA. We all want the people on Floor 3 to be happy and it is the responsibility of Site Administration to ensure that FCOM is informed of any changes within the site and in relations with any GOI's. The GOC are our closest ally and I would aim for them to be on good terms with us and it would be the responsibility of Site Administration to ensure via overseeing DEA that relations are good and attending any meetings with the CO team of GOC to improve these relations.
Policies
Briefly touched on before but Site Administration are responsible not only for overall site policy but the policies of every department here within the site. It is SA's responsibility to ensure that the policies are enforced and that they are correct and up to date. Site Admin should regularly review the policies of the site and update them if they are no longer relevant or if circumstances have changed. They are also responsible for communicating these changes to the entire site.
Please give some lore about your Site Administration character and what storylines they would be involved in:
