What O5 role are you applying for, and why (give the specific O5 number):
As long as I can remember, ever since I got into SCP, the O5 always had a special appeal to me. They always struck me as this mysterious group of people that strike total authority wherever they go. Where some might only see them as a normal person, those who know are aware that seeing them rarely brings good news.
During my time on CN, I have had my fair share of interactions with O5. Be it them simply introducing themselves to me or standing on the side lines while they tear into a Department for severely messing up. No matter what, the picture I had of them always got proven correct.
I am applying for O5-3 in order to put my own effort into keeping this picture intact. Results are to be expected, no matter how.
What makes you the best candidate for the O5 Council?:
I think I’d be a good candidate for the O5 Council because of the fact that I am different from the usual applicants. While others apply from the position of OSA or Site Admin or MTF CO, I apply from the position of DoISD. A position usually known to go into Ethics.
I intend to step out of that pipeline.
During my time as DoISD (and my general time within ISD), I have learned many ways to create RP on the get go. Being ISD gives the unique opportunity to investigate anyone and anything, creating RP as a result for all involved parties.
With O5 being a role of RP creation and maintaining such RP, I think I’d be one of the better candidates for this role.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:

What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council in RP?:
- Oversee sitewide performance
By using Site Admin as their “eyes and ears”, the O5 Council oversees all progress done on-Site. And for the cases where Site Admin draws little jurisdiction, mainly Sr Personnel, they oversee their performances themself or through their Assistants. - Convening on and deciding sitewide policy
Once more by using Site Admin, they sign off on the site policies that Site Administration attempts to put into place, mainly by either giving their verbal approval of such or by sending their Assistants to sign in their place. - Working closely with SA & RSD
Like suggested above already, the O5 Council works closely with Site Admin to ensure efficiency of site procedures. They also work closely with the Research Department, wanting differing results when it comes to research on SCPs. How these results are achieved are of no concern. The only concern is that results are delivered. - Organizing hearings
When a Department or a Regiment messes up to the point that a mere Tribunal would prove to be a waste of time, the O5 Council steps in and organizes a hearing for either the leadership of the affected Department, or the whole Department all together. The point of those hearings is to bring across all the points where mistakes have been made and that further mistakes will lead to more severe consequences. - Managing MTF Alpha-1
As the O5 Council’s own MTF Group, they obviously are in charge of their operations. Together with the CO Team of A-1, they organize deployments and actions taken by A-1.
What are the responsibilities of the O5 Council out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
Outside of RP, the O5 Council votes on Forum Applications such as Overseer Assistants and Site Admin.
Aside from voting on certain applications, as RP Leaders, the O5 Council is also expected to offer advice to those that need it, be it Department Leaders, Site Admin or even their own Assistants.
And lastly, the O5 Council are always expected to hold themselves to high standards during OOC interactions, be it simple conversations or handling serious OOC situations such as complaints filed.
