Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
One metagaming from a time when I was new to the server - Used 'above head' info to identify someone while I was unaware it shouldn't be used.

Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I am applying for Executive Researcher for a small number of reasons;

Firstly because I am one of the people within this community that has a genuine interest in the lore setting; I read wiki entries and short stories on the SCP universe in the same context that I read fiction books. Not only does this inform me of a more authentic way to RP certain characters in-game but it also gives me inspiration to pursue certain storylines and conduct unique tests with other players - and I believe that one of the best ways to do this is through the gameplay of an Executive Researcher.

I would also like to be on the front lines of the Department of Research and readily available to explore new content dropped to us by the dev team through the medium of research and testing. This means conducting authentic research tests on new anomalies, chemicals or site features and documenting my findings on behalf of the Department of Research so that other players can use my new knowledge to pursue certain goals. For example one of my ambitions is to launch a chem-grenade utilities and weaponisation programme that documents all of the new recipes and their usages - and then to work with Site Administration and Site Command to create a provision in which other departments and regiments can pay for chem-grenades of their chosing to be supplied to them with the Department of Research meeting the demand.

I also want to make a dedicated effort to identifying new players within D-Class and the GSD and focus on running tests for these new players so that they get the correct impression of our SCP-RP server and have a good landing.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I have a tremendous wealth of experience in RP creation, document writing, departmental management and site-wide policy creation.

During my time in the Ethics Committee I would always create passive RP for Omega-1 and other departments on site by using my position to conduct unusual and dangerous tests that other players with access to research RP could not. This would often involve testing of CL4 SCPs, testing of SCP-008, cross testing SCPs with one another. I would also make a dedicated effort to organise the site's response to GM events and other forms of staff-created content in order to ensure that their effort is not wasted and to maximise player engagement with the RP. This attitude towards RP creation and involvement of other players makes me an ideal pick for Executive.

It is also the case that I have had a long period of proactive involvement in departmental and site-wide policy creation that required a lot of collaboration with other senior CL4 and CL5 players - this means that I will always be aware of how my actions in testing and RP creation effect other players and allows me to mitigate any negative impact they may have. For example I will recognise that being CL4 does not give me the right to jump the research testing queue in D-Block, as allowing lower CL researchers access to testing is more important in promoting passive RP than my own testing.

I have a vast knowledge base on all of the departments and regiments on site as well as their lore settings which gives me an informed opinion on how they should operate both from an RP perspective and a gameplay perspective which makes me an ideal asset to consult with should the Department of Research or Site Administration have any questions I can answer.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
I believe I have had two or three excellent graded documents in the past howerver they will have been written before I joined the Ethics Committee, which was a long time ago, and it is highly possible they are not recorded on the Department of Research's roster. However I can provide some documents that I wrote during the time I was a GSD Captain, my first CL4 position - Amnestics Shortage , Accidental Mass-Term of D-Block. Both of these documents demonstrate a high standard of literacy and a good control of the written word. There is only some basic formatting in there however they are incident reports from a department that does not have it's own templates and not dedicated research documents.

An excellent document must make good use of the templates and fully complete titles and sub-headings, as well as an introduction, test hypothesis, test procedure, test narration and finally test conclusion. It should make use of appropriate font sizes, paragraphing and have a sophisticated use of language and vocabulary.

It is also the case that during my time on the Committee I have produced a lot of high quality documents for the EC archives as well as been responsible for approving researcher's tests with an Ethics Committee signature. I have also created a large number of OOC documents, such as the ECMs Handbook, the ECAs Handbook, GSD Captain's Handbook, the RRT License Training and Heavy Weapons License Training which I cannot link as they contain answers to various tests and interviews.

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
The Department of Research is the beating heart of passive RP on the site. Executive Researchers therefore have a responsbility to remain engaged with testing in order to hold up their end of the core gameplay loop. If researchers fail to consistently pull D-Class for testing then the D-Class players will default to minge gameplay and try to PvP the General Security Department rather than engaging in RP. Which will result in a terrible first impression of the server to new players who are dropped into D-Block.

Executives are also required to sign off on other researcher's documents such as test authorisations and submissions. It is important for an Executive to hold test documentation to a high standard when evaluating other researcher's work as providing too generous a reward for substandard material threatens to degrade the over quality and integrity of the department. It is also the case that excellent quality tests are selected for uploading to Scipnet, and if substandard documents are submitted than it requries SSL action to remove them.

Executives also have the responsibility to use their position to elevate the clearance level of testing at CL3 to CL4 and accompany such tests, they do this in order to allow for lower CL players to engage in CL4 test RP, which is likely to be a new and interesting experience for them - as well as providing them with limited access to chemical sampling from CL4 SCPs.

An Executive Researcher has a duty to operate within their own departmental policies and take action against other members of the Department of Research who violate them in the forms of job bans if the issues created exist OOC, or to escalate punishment to the Departmental of Internal Affairs and the Ethics Commitee if the violations are IC. Violations can involve extracting more than 3L of sample from an SCP during test, cross-testing of SCPs without relevant authority being delegated by the Director of Research, SA or SC and providing information leaks to lower CLs or GOIs.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
