I am applying for Ethics Committee Member, because ive always had a keen interest in ethics, what the ethics committee does and their work. They help with keeping order in the facility and makes sure everyone abides by the code of ethics. The Ethics Committee is a crucial part of running the site and its operations, and i want to help in any way i can, so therefor i picked up a position, but i feel i am now ready to move on to become a member of the committee.
From all the way back when i finished my tryout to join Nu-7, i always had an itch to get involved with site administration somehow, and i quickly realized that the Ethics Committee was what i wanted to join, but with no prior experience as CL4 personnel, i first decided to reach lieutenant, but then the assistant became a new employment, and i quickly took the chance. I felt i had enough experience to apply to become an assistant, and it seemed the committee was in agreement because i got accepted.
Through my time as an member of Nu7, i got an interest for the Ethics Committee because of the work they do, and my interest for ethical dilemmas, and stuff of that nature. I feel i can make good judgements and keep myself focused in intense situations. I act mature in serious situations, and i can resonate with people, and have good social skills.
I quickly fell in love with being an assistant, as it was my first steps towards becoming a member, and it gave me a taste of what it had to offer, and i realized that site administration was something i felt i excelled at and really enjoyed, more specifically the ethics committee.
What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I feel i am the best candidate for the Ethics Committee because i can keep myself calm in intense situations, and have good social abilities and good judgments. I can resonate with people and act mature. With my time as an MTF Nu-7 Lieutenant, i feel i can effectively lead MTF O-1 because of my combat/leadship knowledge from leading my men in Nu-7. Being an Ethics Assistant also helps me because i have worked closely with Ethics as you would expect, and MTF O1. I think with all of these factors combined, i am atleast a very good candidate for the position as Member, and during my time with Ethics, from what ive heard, ive only heard good things about me and my work.
I have full respect for the committee and all their work, but i feel ethics is abit too quiet sometimes, with only the same members on daily, so i feel all in all, with my leadership abilities from being an ex-Nu7 Lieutenant and currently an assistant, my social skills ive gathered from general experience and experience as Assistant, i feel i am a very strong candidate.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
Some of the tasks the ethics committee has in RP is ensuring the site runs smoothly and abides by the code of ethics in good standard, and helps in making key decisions, and making ethical evaluations. They also approve high risk tests, and ensure all departments are in good standard, and maintain communications. Ethics also works closely with site administration, and the O5 council.
If needed, the Ethics Committee can also step in and act as site administration, authorizing stuff such as advanced armory usage, mass amnestication and other things of that nature.
To make sure all the departments are running smoothly, the committee also do department reviews, where they shadow a department and all their members and evaluate their preformance and have 5 review decisions, and these are: poor (1), needs improvement (2), in-good standing (3), excellent (4), and outstanding (5).
While Ethics wont constantly be involved in stuff 24/7, they are in the background, making sure everythings running smoothly, and if a department starts slipping, they reestablish order, because ideally, ethics will never have to play a large part in anything, if the departments and everyone on site do their role and do it to the best of their abilities.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
Out of RP, Ethics update and handle documents, such as the Code of Ethics. They make sure and look for any legal loop holes, and fix it. They also have meetings with the rest of the committee, regarding establishing new regulations, or any other pressing matters thats in their hands.
