RP Enhancement: Foundation Staff/Department
(Rare Clearance 1 focused enhancement) The head chef has appeared on site! During his stay, he will train the chefs of Site-65, as well as challenge them to prepare well thought out meals!
RP Enhancement: Group of Interest/Non-Site Personnel
A famous streamer is in Pinewood! They will be present for a while, hosting an autograph signing somewhere within the town! This enhancement is primarily targeted at the Civilians, but can expand to the entirety of Surface, GOC and CI included, especially if a dastardly surface anomaly appears!!
Event: Global Occult Coalition
A string of mental health crisis has struck Pinewood. Many people have reported seeing an enigmatic figure across the town; An orphan, who definitely does not belong around here. Many people, upon viewing or engaging in conversation with this small girl, often have intense mental breaks, from mental illnesses such as schizophrenia, depressive disorders, bipolar, borderline personality, and other, mood changing disorders. This has led to situations including physical and verbal altercations, deaths, and disgust towards others. This of course, has attracted the attention of the surface personnel, most notably, the Global Occult Coalition.
The idea is that the Global Occult Coalition is the first to catch wind of this and begin investigating and searching for the anomaly. Once found, the Global Occult Coalition has several choices as to what they can now do.
A) Attempt elimination of the target, which may prove costly.
B) Sell the target off to the highest bidder, receiving money without much trouble, minus the locating.
C) Research the anomalous humanoid, understand it, possibly suffer its effects.
Anomaly Idea draft
Event: Chaos Insurgency
An odd door has appeared under the chimney stairs. No one remembers it being there, but, yet again, did they ever really look for it?
This door will lead the Insurgency into the sewer systems of Pinewood. Upon entering, nothing will seem right, at all. Are those... Eyes? In the water? From their entrance, they will be watched, stalked, hunted. A creature of unknown origin, finally finding a long-awaited meal, perhaps? Or maybe its certain death.
Upon turning around, they will notice the door has disappeared. No exit, meaning they have to sneak or push through the sewer system, exploring what this creature is, its habitat, and how to survive.
The creature would begin in a "stalking" phase. Filling its curiosity with who these men in its space are, watching from a distance, sniffing out the Insurgency's flavors. Upon being spotted, the creature will dive itself into the water, hiding itself away from the insurgency.
Upon its interest being entirely piqued, it will begin attempting to separate and pick off the insurgency, targeting stragglers over those near others specifically. This 'Hunt' phase, will last until it is wounded too much to hide away and run anymore, or it has eaten its fill.
Upon being wounded to an extent deemed enough to weaken it, the anomaly will enter a sort of 'Final Stand' phase, striking out irrationally and in pure desperation. If it eats its fill, however, it will enter a 'Glutton' stage. It will slow down as it digests the food, and can no longer hide properly, where it can either be eliminated much easier, or captured.
Event: The SCP Foundation

-Fuan, Anxiety.
An adorable little critter has made itself visible to specific Foundation personnel! It claims its name is Fuan, they appear to be some form of Tibetan Sandfox that is capable of speech!
Fuan will begin as entirely benevolent as it searches to Site Personnel to attach to and irritate! Fuan feeds off of the anxieties and worries of its "host" or what it refers to as its handler, and places doubts within their already worried minds! Fuan will never be hostile, or even a true physical manifestation to those it doesn't deem a handler/host, appearing to the rest as, well... Nothing.
Fuan will have very belittling and anxiety producing ways of speech, often questioning the host's mental process on making a decision or inforcing the fact they're hated by their department!
"Are you suuuuure that's a wise choice?"
"It's okay! Everyone knows your department hates you! I do too!"
"They will never view you with respect, {rank}"
Fuan can be disrupted and contained, but conventional methods will not work on it, requiring quite heavy research.
Major Event/Map Change:
"This is MTF-Eta 11, codename 'Savage Beasts'. We are currently receiving reports of an echoing music box throughout the location of Pinewood, Saskatchewan, Canada. Site-65, please deploy and locate this possible anomaly, and do be prepared for anything."
Pinewood is under the effects of an auditory cognitohazard in the form of a music box. The sound permeates the ground, effecting those within site, and out of it. The effects of the anomaly vary between people. It can cause anywhere from a minor headache, to severe mental distress. This event will essentially be a race between Foundation, CI, and GOC to see who can obtain, contain, or destroy the anomaly first, as well as mitigate casualties or veil breaks to citizens.
The effects of the anomaly will be determined through rolls at the time of effect, and who it affects most will be determined by random choice. Statements alluding to conscious listening of the song will cause the target to be higher priority.
It is possible that an event MTF will be joining the masses if possible, this MTF would be MTF Eta-11, 'Savage Beasts'. This unit specializes in the containment and counteracting of Auditory/Musical anomalies, cognitohazards included. The reasoning behind the inclusion would be to spread Auditory Scrubbers to all groups. Beginning with a transport that is partially successful, with GOC and Foundation getting the Scrubbers as they were meant to, but CI stealing a truck full of them.
What elements can make an event unenjoyable for you/others in your opinion?
-Predicatability.
> Events with incredibly predictable pathways, twists, and such are incredibly boring to me, and I feel ruin most if not all events.
-Power Fantasies
> To create invincible, uncontainable beings, or making a character who is incredibly strong in all aspects just for the sake of "I'm a GM" or "It's an event character" without any weakness or depth is just... bland. tasteless. It truly offers nothing.
-One-sided scenarios
>To make one side incredibly strong during a large event, especially multi-factioned often ruins it for everyone in my experience.
What do you wish to achieve by becoming a Gamemaster?
By becoming a gamemaster, I aim to bring memorable experiences to the server to everyone. I remember my first time as a Cl2 GSD, back in 2023? 2024?, first partaking in any form of event or RP. I remember the awe and enjoyment I felt being included. I aim to bring feelings like this to everyone; I want to be part of the people who create the true enjoyability of this server. There's been many people I've looked up to in the Gamemaster roles who have honestly been the ones who have opened my willingness to attempt to join; Niox, Serrt, Mirai Archeus, Tony Garuzzo, Blob. Some of them I haven't spoken to much, but still very much had influenced my time on the server.
I wish to be able to create these memories, as well as just be a bigger part of the server. I've been here for... nearly three years now, starting in Internal Affairs way back when, goaded into joining by Ella Rayman/ERaven over the period of a month until I finally did, and I'm so glad I let her talk me into it.
Anyways, sorry, I'm ranting in my app... I wish to show how much I care about this community as well.
