What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:
I am applying for the role of Ethics Committee Member. The reason i am applying for this is because i have truly experienced the meaning of the ethics department by playing as an Ethics Committee Assistant. I know i do not have alot of CL4 experience but i have more than enough of 3.5 by being within the mobile taskforce of Alpha-1. I have been loving the role of being an Ethics Assistant and i would like to grow much more within this. For example i want to oversee and supervise a department and help out where i can. What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:
I believe that i would be the best candidate due to my background and understanding of management within departments. I know what it takes to make a department thrive within a server and would like to assist in this. I also have a proven track record of being an active, professional and approachable member of the community, as well as possesing strong leadership skills and being very flexible where needed. My experience as being a senior moderator gives me a good and deep understanding of the community and its rules, and i am well-known among the members. What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:
I have listed a few responsibillities below:
- Authorize and oversee crosstests from the research department or tests on SCP-682 and SCP-008.
- Deal with code black scenario's where they have to give out the order to evacuate the site.
- Deal with scenario's that require's the Nuke to be activated.
- Give out a mass termination order for D-classes [Under specific circumstances].
- Authorize Advanced Armory for MTF if needed.
[The next part is within some SCP lore. It really depends wich one you read but this is the one i have been told and read up on. This is unrelated to the server.]
The Ethics Committee also keep an eye on the Overseer council. Low clearance level members think that the Ethics Committee is just a committee that try's to keep everyone in the site in line and that they follow the right procedures regarding ethics but most of this is a cover up. What the Ethics Committee really do is keep the Overseer council in check. Let's say they are trying to use SCP's to make them unkillable and they will never die. The Ethics Committee investigates this, reports this to The Administrator and proceeds to put out a kill order on the Overseer Council. This will then be done by Omega-1. The Ethics Committee will then proceed and a new Overseer Council will be picked.
What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee out of RP (e.g. what applications do they handle?):
The Ethics Committee has a few responsibillities out of roleplay wich include giving verdicts to certain applications and submutting opinions on said applications to decide if they are fit for that position. I have listed the applications below:
- Ethics Committee Assistants applications.
- Ethics Committee Member applications although they do not actually decide themselfs but host a vote if that person would be a good enough fit. The Chairman will then decide with the votes and opinions on that application.
- Director of Medicine applications.
- Director of Internal Affairs applications but this is decided not only by the Ethics Committee but also by the Overseer Council.
They also hold monthly reviews on departments every month. Site Administration does this aswell but the Ethics Committee do it just for the ethical part. They will gather information that the department in order to submit a final review wich can range anywhere from Bad, In-Good Standing or Excellent.

He helped contain the SCP by assisting MTF taskforce E-11 and showing what he was capable of. Command from E-11 noticed this and recruited him into E-11.
Dutch was outperforming his collegue's by recontaining SCP's after another and this did not went unnoticed by Site Command. Dutch was later found dead by
SCP-008 his chamber where he was executed. We assume he was taken hostage by CI and refused to cooperate.
