Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
Research was my first role on the server, and also my first whitelisted role. I want to return and get back to the basics of research. I've always loved creating RP and this is a perfect role to do that with. Being that this is my third or forth application, the first when I was very new, I'm making a comeback with some projects already on the ground running, that I hope can bring research some more fun and engaging RP! As an executive researcher, I aim to expand research within the department and mentor junior researchers to become future executives. My passion for the research department drives me to help researchers create more extensive ideas and documentation, ensuring the department has new researchers with the same passion. I believe in teaching and guiding lower researchers to achieve this goal. My goal is to create a more inclusive and effective research environment.
I am also applying to bring some events, lectures, and other interactable ideas to the forefront, with my main goal to onboard as many junior researchers as possible. My application today is mainly to take the role of 'lecturer' or the 'ideas guy' (hence the name Gamemaker) to start getting people excited to play research. From things like competitions, challenges, and raffles, I want to make research a relaxed, fun, environment to create engaging and enjoyable RP.
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I enjoy helping the Jr's be their best selves, and I am more than easy to approach. I think my unique outlook concerning researching and its endevours gives me a suitable experience, knowledge and ingenuity to become an executive, as well as the previous intent of creating RP. I'm also coming back off of a long hiatus, which helps to return with a clear head, and fresh ideas. My previous experience as an Exec also bring some old school knowledge back to the forefront of onboarding, testing, and documentation that I think research could benefit from! I am dependable, reliable, and am able to maintain a professional, yet fun, demeanour around site.
I am also looking to join the Executive team so I can start teaching, with my previous experience in CL4 Roles, and my IRL experience as a TA, I am more than capable of creating exciting and engaging lectures to onboard junior researchers, which in turn will bring a new generation of researchers to restore research back to an incredible state.
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
- I have one Exemplary Document, and three Good Documents, as well as many more, including all the ones linked on my Dossier, and the more recent ones, such as my project files. My clipboard has held dozens of documents over my tenure on CN, many left ungraded although that may just be my own fault. I'm constantly improving through creating events and RP, but I am not above documentation, as shown through the several successful projects and ideas I'm putting forth for the department.
An 'excellent' document should include transcripts, hypothesis', introductions, index, photographs, and have good grammar and spelling, as well as punctuation. Each of these in mix with an exciting testing premise will end up with an excellent document. I believe in the freedom of formatting, and the way that can impact documents and their RP.
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
-Executives are responsible for:
+Assisting Senior Researchers.
+Encouraging them to apply to executive positions.
+Grade documentation.
+Assist/oversee tests.
+Authorise CL4 tests.
+Onboarding Junior Researchers
+Cross testings for Safe/Safe, Safe/Euclid, and Euclid/Euclid.
Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:

While my behaviour in the past has been an issue, after my break I can assure that I have addressed the problem and am fully ready to commit to serious (but fun) RP for research to enjoy. I hope my previous actions wont override the new image I am trying to project, and am working hard to start a new page in and for research.
Thanks for reading!
