Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?: I want to contribute more to the research department by creating more immersive role-play and collaboration within the research department. One of my goals would be to develop ongoing research projects that could involve more of the research team from all levels and engage with the Game Master's (GM) more to improve the immersion and enjoyment for all parties within the test, not just the researchers. One example of this was a test with SCP-457, where I requested a GM to put down thrusters in different colours for my flame test, making it more immersive for the d-class and the SCP involved. I would also like to streamline the process of requesting GM's help so that if you have a small test, you can ask through the ‘@’ chat, or if it's a big project, you go through the usual means via Discord.

Throughout the time I've been in the department, I've conducted numerous tests that have been recognized as out of the box by my peers; if I manage to get the role/rank of an executive researcher, I would like to guide and support other researchers in refining their methodology ensuring that the tests are both fun creative and well documented.

I would like to take on more responsibilities within the research department by helping with documentation, ensuring tests align with the ethical guidelines established by the ethics committee, and maintaining the high standards and reputation of the research departments. I believe my experiences would help with this goal and strengthen the research departments.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?: Due to my experiences conducting high-quality tests, my strong understanding of the pursuit of research, and my ability to help guide, I would be an asset to the Research department's leadership.

Out of role-play, my current job demands that I am highly organized and detail-orientated, which aligns with the research department and allows me to properly document and analyse experiments while maintaining professionalism in roleplay scenarios.

A document that is excellent grade is one that is very detailed, well structured, and engaging while also adhering to the Research protocols, logical reasoning and ethical standards.

The structure should be, but not limited to:

Cover: The cover of the test. :)

Table of contents/Index: The list of content that makes it easier for the reader to find what they are looking for.

SCP Description: a Description of the SCP. :)

Objectives: The reasoning for doing the test and what you are trying to find out.

Hypothesis: Primary Hypothesis and Alternative Hypothesis. What might happen? What else could happen?

Testing Procedure: Materials & Equipment Used, Step-by-Step Process and Safety Protocols.

Results & Observations: Recorded Data, Measurements, Subject Reactions, Responses and Notable Anomalies.

Conclusion: Summary of Findings Implications for Future Research Potential Applications.

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:

The responsibilities are but not limited to overseeing research projects, grading and reviewing documents, leading & creating research projects, authorizing high-level testing, maintaining research standards and enhancing the roleplay experience.

This could include supervising research personnel for tests at one level of their clearance, assuring all experiments follow ethical and containment procedures, and providing guidance and mentors when requested or when necessary.

Executives are also assigned to grade and review experimental documents, evaluate research documents, and grade the records based on quality, objectives and adhering to the foundation standards. Executives also provide feedback to the researcher so that they can improve their work and maintain a high standard of documentation.

Uriel Xal'atath went to Imperial College London, where he initially studied molecular engineering and biomedical engineering, gaining a first-class degree; with that, he went on to take a master's in tissue engineering and regenerative medicine alongside a second Master's in clinical pharmacology. His PhD was in molecular biology.

As an Executive Researcher, Dr Xal'atath Spearheads vicious tests within the foundation, potentially delving into memetic & cognitohazardous anomalies (Investigating SCPs that alter perception and reality, such as SCP-178 ), philosophical & ethical implications of SCP research and High-Risk Keter-Class research to better understand and to improve containment.

His insatiable curiosity drives Dr Xal'atath. Know for his obsession with understanding the effects of anonymous entities on human cognition, biological impact and metaphysical structure, the research that he has completed spans various SCP classes, particularly those that manipulate organic matter.
