Why are you applying for Security Captain?

I believe that I can make a valuable contribution to the day-to-day running of General Security by adapting the training regime to remove some of the flaws that I have witnessed during my time as RRT Sergreant. I would like to create a redraft of the written questionnaires that have better descriptions of scenarios, are more deeply rooted on the CoE and CoC and replace questions that refer to scenarios outside of Gensec jurisdiction with more relevant ones.
I would like to implement drastic improvements to Gensecs Code-2 sweep stragegy -these improvements would be implement through the training regime that I would like to restructure. I would also like to setup non-mandatory training sessions for RRT Officer+ staff to introduce them to small unit tactics and VIP escort procedure.
It is also my intention to ensure that the Captaincy uses their new ability to credit their subordinates frequently for well performed activities and to ensure that all Gensec personnel who conduct a Code-2 sweep are invited to line up for mass-crediting. I expect this behaviour to create a feedback loop of effort:reward amongst the lower denominations of Gensec Cadets and Officers who are typically less coordinated due to their lack of training and experience.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:

I have previously served in the British Armed Forces and through the training I have received I have developed an astute logic-based approach to problem solving and gained the ability to properly train and delegate to my subordinates. My leadership technique is one of leading through an open and observable example and to provide as much positive reinforcement as possible to my subordinates to ensure that they are always ready and willing to give 110%.
My priorities when organising tasks is to ensure that the fundementals are performed to as near perfection as possible, this has consistently enabled me in the past to create a stable operating base through which more complex tasks can be organised. One example of implementing this in game is to ensure that at least one Gensec staff member remains at the routine airlock checkpoints during a sweep briefing to ensure that the brief does not get ambushed. Furthermore to station a gensec officer at the main entrance to D-Block to filter non-combat personnel
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:

The Captain is responsible for providing on-the-ground coordination to Gensec in not just their routine running of D-Block but also to the RRT teams operating around the site. This typically involves ensuring that D-Block checkpoints are manned and sufficiently staffed so that research can be conducted with safe weapon checks to secure them- which is vital as Site-65 is one of the foundations' research facilities.
The Captain also has a duty to ensure that they have a strong grasp of the routine patrol areas and non-routine call-out areas that RRT can be deployed to so the Captain on duty can prioritise the use of RRT to make them as effective as possible. Such as the priority balancing act of guarding L4+ personnel, searching for intruders, responding to Code-2s or defending against aggressive SCPs.

During the great D-Class uprising of August 2022, intruders deep-raided Site-65 and armed almost all D-Class personnel with multiple Matador Rocket Launchers, Heavy Machine Guns and Energy Powered Rifles. Jeffrey Shekelstein was just a regular officer assigned to General Security at the time and answered the Code-2. Following an hour long battle to regain D-Block Jeffrey Shekelstein was critically wounded, suffering serious facial injuries and dismemberment. After days of intensive care and surgical procedures, Jeffrey awoke as a cybernetically enhanced human being with no prior memories.
