Why are you applying for Security Captain?
I think it is time I attempt to advance my career. As of now i have been SGT for some two months and i believe I have gathered enough experience to become a part of the captains. I find great joy making sure D-Block runs as smooth as possible and a potential role as a captain would make that work much easier. Multiple people have asked me when I will make an application for captain and that gave me the courage to give it a shot. I decided to pursue GSD due to the constant action, there is never time to rest... to add to that, I really like alot of people who i work with every day. Having a CL4 clearance opens up to many more RP scenarios aswell.

What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
As i said previously, I would consider myself experienced as a SGT and that I do know the procedures and protocols of GSD like the back of my hand. During my time as a SGT i have looked after the CPTs and gotten myself a good understanding on how they operate. I am effective at making sure all posts in D-Block are manned and that we are able to manage the responsibilities that comes with the GSD as a whole, such as escorting Class-Ds or dealing with riots. During my time as SGT i have seen most circumstances however odd they may be. When I am in D-Block I do my best to lead by example for all who is under my rank to learn and become better GENSEC staff, this is something I think will transfer well to a hypothetical role as captain. Furthermore I try not to be too harsh upon GENSEC who might not be experienced at their job, encouraging correct behavior while obviously also punishing incorrect procedure but in a way that they can also develop from. While it is easy to say that captains are mainly supposed to do more high rank duties, the ones I have looked up to the most are the captains who actively work in D-Block and also the ones who feel like the seriously care when you ask them a question or have a concern, something I would, as a captain, hold of upmost importance. I also consider myself very active.

What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
Hosting license trainings such as RCL and HWL
Managing internal issues
Scouting sergeants
Run D-Block
Conducting sweeps
Distribute GSD resources
Generic CL4 duties such as operating BDs
Ensuring policy is being followed
Getting new GSD accustomed with the site

Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
George is compared to the abnormality of the site... quite normal. He tried getting a career in the military passing most tests in flying colours. That was unfortunately cut short due to his poor gunnery skills. Rapidly running out of the money his parents gave him he applied to a shady security job from an anonymous advertiser. He had no idea what to expect from it. George struggled in the tryout when it came to the shooting course. Through a sudden stroke of luck he managed to barely pass the needed completion time on his last attempt. As to why the facility would recruit such an unskilled gunsman remains unknown to this day...

+ is a alr GSD from what I saw
+/- the lore is yeah only from what happend outside of Site-65 but nothing from what happends inside of Site-65 from cadet -> sgt or smth (but tbh its for GSD cpt so yeah neither a + or a -)
- got a RDM warn pretty recently....
Little - point/? alr from what I have seen in your what makes you suitable part is that you are mainly inside of D-Block and that thats your biggest concern as a cpt is that the main part ofc But.... a cpt also has lots and LOTS of rp possibilities outside of D-Block. My question is what kinds of RP would you create or add to when your not inside of D-Block. As a cpt doesnt always have RP inside of D-Block but also outside. (This is a kinda -supp point not a heavy 1 as you also learn this when you are cpt but if you havent done outside D-Block RP it could be hard to learn to do it ofc)

- You seem very friendly and position from your application and know your roles well

- I can't give a definitive positive or negative as I've had zero interactions with you either when I've been on gsd or even seeing you in comms while e-11.
This could be differences in time zone but as grog mentioned you should try insert yourself into rp especially as a sergeant with people outside of your department.

- Quite a recent RDM warn, maybe adding some context to that could help. Honest mistake ect

- The lore is very much lacking

To give context to that RDM warning, I shot a Class-D who was let out of the airlock by a site staff while the D-Class technically did nothing wrong I ended up shooting him. In my opinion it seemed a bit harsh but that might be cope : /

Dear @Fishey

After careful consideration of your application, as well of your qualifications, we have come forward to inform you that you have been accepted for the position of Security Captain.

Please message either @Aba_30baiden or @Marrio Tazuul to begin with the on-boarding process. This process will include an Interview as well as a trial phase in order to let us finalise the decision that will possibly let you take on the duties of a Security Captain. Once again, we congratulate you on passing your application in becoming a Captain, and we hope to see you as a fully-pledged member of our team.

Sincerely,

- Chief Jaffar 'Warhammer'
