Why are you applying for Site Advisor?
I am applying for SA as I have been around for a long time on CN and have held Cl4 roles for more than half of that. Through this time i have had good experiences on all of them and a common factor of this was SA's activity in what happens on site. This being anything from policies, starting RP storylines that involves many DPT's and reg and even just having cool lore and such that makes very unique scenarios.
What makes you suitable for Site Administration?:
In my roles that I have played I have picked up many skills and gained useful info from them as explained below:
ECA
My many ECA characters being Winston A. Barns, Ben Barns & Ethan Cole. While playing as these characters I had very specific porpoises for them and how their demise would come around at the end of it all. For Winston he was supposed to be the joke of the committee and his day to day actions would reflect this as he would constantly get lost, confused and would act like a child at times. This fulfilled Winston's goal and after that was done I plotted his end! Winston died from an incident with 939 where myself and a Exec did a test on 939 what ended badly and allowed Winston to be killed by Floor 3. For Ban barns he was supposed to be Cold and calculating to be the stone cold side of ethics, "Cold not cruel" But unfortunately his story didn't go far and he was PKed with no major RP. For Ethan Cole he was around for about a month and did good work being the middle ground between Winston & Ben. Ethan did some RP with a few DPT's mainly being RSD and other than that he was a background character. Just the eye's and ear's of the committee.
BCOM
While i was a BCOM i did the more technical side of managing a reg / DPT because I was a ARUC lead along side this i had to juggle both of these. A BCOM in CI is responsible for making decisions on who should be promoted, SUB REG work, making orders and keeping the Faction's activity in acceptable standards
What are the responsibilities of Site Administration in RP?:
Site Admin has the most responsibility for all DPT's and REG and i will explain below:
Site Admin handles the site policies and has the ability to change, remove or add policies. These policies are supposed to make some interesting restrictions and empowerment's for DPT's, Feed ISD's gameplay loop as ISD has a large part of their RP about policies and make sure DPT's are running like they are supposed to.
Site Admin has the responsibility to auth passive breach's, AA as well as setting off the Nuke in rare case's where FCOM are not around.
Site Admin are also the ones who handle IC and OOC complaints against players in DPT's and Reg this could be anything from a Sr. RSD to the E11 COM, These complaints are sometimes about higher up's conduct, strikes, demotions and bad decisions they made that have a IC or OOC problem.
Site Admin works closely with ISD / DEA. The main thing they do with ISD is use them to enforce policies & Help with IC problems such as they need to meet with a corrupt Exec and need their protection / manpower. For DEA Site Admin work with them to secure relations with GOI's such as GOC. In the past SA allowed DEA to set up the homeless GOC in Media room as their base was bombed. This caused much RP to happen with GOC being so close to regular staff.
Site Admin used to have the IC power to auth 008 test's / sampling but that moved to only needing 05 auth + informing the Committee
Site Admin are the one's who appoint Director's, MTF Commander's and Chief's. They review the app's posted and once they fine a good enough candidate they move on to the 2nd section being the interview!
Site Admin are the highest on the Chain of command and such have the authority to make parts of the site locked down / trespass for specific DPT's / REG this can be caused to happen for many reasons such as a 008 CT is happening and HCZ is being locked down for all personal.
Site Admin are the 1st people to asses if the site needs a ERT call, AA, Nuke if no FCOM are there and Code Black's
The biggest part of being Site Admin is being assigned to a DPT / REG or even several. The Departments / regiments they liaison with are their main assignments and if the REG / DPT has issue's, complaints and IC RP to go to SA they come to you instead of other Site Admin!
