For how long have you played on CG SCP: 2,132,160 Seconds ≈ 592 Hours. (according to achievement progress)
Age: 19
In what country are you located?: Poland
Time zone: GMT+1
Character name: Greg Williams
Civilian name: William Gregs
What server are you applying for?: UK
Do you have a mic?: Yes. while I usually prefer not using it for personal reasons, I will use it when required.
-
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
SCP-096, IA, DEA,
-
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
yes, in the past i have received warns and 1 ban. most of them were for FearRP, however I have been on my best behaviour to not break any rules again and all my warnings have since expired.
-
Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
Exec. Researcher is the next step of progression in the research department, i wish to be able to be more involved in this aspect of server, but the things i want to do are often a little limited when only holding the Sr. Researcher role. I started working towards becoming an Exec. Researcher after seeing what other Exec. Researchers can do and how much more opportunities they have in roleplay due to their position.
-
What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I have (in my opinion) already been more involved in research than the average Sr. Researcher. I have many times now assisted in tests conducted by Executive Researches, such as multiple scp-008 tests. I also conducted many tests on my own, on various SCPs.
I also really enjoy helping around new Jr. Researchers (or whoever asks for help in general) showing them around and explaining what they can do to be a good member of the research team. I already have introduced multiple Jr.'s to the basic of the research department which i believe i could only do more of if i were to become an Executive, where that would become one of my responsibilities.
-
How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
I have written multiple excellent-graded documents, i dont really know how to check the exact number, but there is a couple of them.
A document should always follow the general layout (Aims,Method,Findings,Conclusion). to be excellent it needs to be descriptive and extensively cover the experiment. good documents should cover topics that were not extensively covered before. they should be original and creative.
In short, the document should be of high quality, original, creative, and follow the basic document layout so that they are easily readable and not just a wall of text. Researchers also should take care to avoid any grammatical errors in their writing.
-
What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
An executive researcher has many responsibilities. their most important role is to assist other members of the research department. they should answer questions, help others when needed and in general ensure that everyone has a chance to understand what to do.
Executive researchers also need to ensure that research is being conducted smoothly, they should ensure that researchers are conducting ethical research, and arent violating department policies. they might be forced to issue jobbans in case of serious wrongdoings.
Executive researchers also authorize various experiments for lower clearance researchers. depending on the nature of the test some of them might require Exec. researcher approval (for example certain combinations of scps in a cross-test, use of anomalous chemicals in testing, etc.). Researchers who require approval are expected to submit a draft document of the test they plan to conduct, and present it to an Exec. so that he can verify and authorize the test. (some types of tests might need to be approved by ethics, in which case the exec should instruct the researcher how to obtain ethics approval if they dont already know how to that)
Being a part of the research team, they should also obviously continue to do experiments on their own just like any other researcher.
Executive researchers, being a CL4 role, might also be expected to do things such as let people into the breach shelter during a major C5, or closing the blast door.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Greg Williams graduated from █████ university, after which he has been trying to make a name for himself in the science community. Unluckily for him he has failed to do so for many years. That all changed when in his research he had stumbled upon SCP-███, which he decided to write a paper on. When he attempted to send the results of his research to be published, however his paper has been intercepted by the SCP Foundation to prevent the spread of knowledge about the anomalous world. Greg's colleagues have all been amnesticated, but he wasn't. the SCP Foundation had recognized Greg Willaim's potential, and decided to offer him employment in the SCP Foundation RsD, which he accepted.
Since becoming employed in the SCP Foundation Greg has managed to rise up the ranks all the way to Sr.Researcher, now looking to become an Executive. His stay in the foundation wasn't all perfect however, he has often ben caught in various trouble, and once was even on the brink of getting fired. however he realized the importance of his position and was working hard to avoid trouble ever since.

This guy would make a great exec, hes friendly and has done quite a couple experiments from what ive seen. I saw him,2 days ago, casually helping out a new JR RSD by answering some of his questions and showing him around the SCPs. I believe this makes him a great person to have as an executive.

Good amount of excellent graded documents (just generally a good researcher from what I've seen) on top of being a fairly active and nice guy, would make a good exec. Does some wacky stuff sometimes tho.

Never seen any Roleplay coming from you. Always just you causing trouble in medbay in one way or another, then begging for me to to try and get you out of it. You really don't have much respect for the policies in place even when told you're in the wrong.

However you are very active on researcher and maybe getting CL4 will change the things mentioned above.

Based on this I'm giving a Neutral support aswell
I know RSD need more CL4 but if you just mess about and don't really engage in roleplay that often I'm not sure if you should be exec

While yes i am sometimes doing dumb stuff and goofing around, i think i stopped causing any major trouble recently..
(also not every time im arrested by IA its completely my fault)
But i do understand your concerns, however for not seeing RP from me also note that you mostly are around medbay due to your job, so you wouldnt see me in HCZ or other areas where rp does happen.
I also know that some jobs require more seriousness than others, for example you would never see me goofing around on IA, even tho i do play IA Agent sometimes. the same would hold true for a CL4 role.

Still, i get if you think im not fit for the role, but i hope to convince you otherwise if i manage to get it.
PS: I also will try to maybe do more RP with medical people. for example just recently i helped one of your consultants in acquiring samples that he required for something

Whenever I see you, You're either hanging with (And often participating) in some shenanigans with The site staff regulars who minge, I honestly have yet to see you even do a test.
i do tests frequently, i have no idea what you are talking about. honestly this is just hurtful and mean.
I do not minge, and i do not endorse minging aswell.
im not sure how you haven't seen me do anything, when i played for over 7 hours this sunday today
-Support based on what Kayla and Merrick said
please form your own opinions, also kayla actually gave neutral, and i have no idea what merrick is talking about.
if you dont have any experiences from me in general, and arent commenting about the application itself, then i do not understand why you felt the need to comment under this application..?

if someone has any specific critique of me i'd gladly to hear about it.

I'll gladly add a few other things then! I have had experiences with you, albeit when you were on DEA and not RSD. You were being extremely disruptive towards GOC when they were in medbay and I was escorting them. Even after I told you to stop. If I recall, after I reported this to senior DEA you were supposed to be job banned but this hasn't gone through yet. Although this behavior wasn't on RSD, it reinforces the other points that were made. If someone is applying for a CL4 role, a factor for a -support would be if their behavior on CL3 jobs was bad. That I have personally seen, and others have stated on your application.

i can't recall a situation where i was supposed to be jobbanned at all when playing DEA ???
are you sure you are thinking of me and not somebody else?

Last time i played DEA was when they did a test in 914 and i was escorting them. they had no complaints about me then.
