If I am fortunate enough to be selected for the role of Captain, my primary focus will be to support and empower our team, ensuring everyone has the tools and knowledge they need to excel in their duties and grow within their roles. I believe in fostering a positive and collaborative environment where all members feel valued and are encouraged to reach their full potential.
Goals and Objectives as Captain:
Supporting Team Development:
I am a hardworking and determined individual who is fully committed to delivering excellence in everything I do. If given the opportunity to serve as Captain, I will dedicate myself to upholding and exceeding the standards expected of this role. My primary objective will be to ensure that Gensec personnel entering and operating within D-Block are trained, motivated, and supported to maintain the highest levels of professionalism, efficiency, and safety.
Setting a High Standard for Gensec
Angus McAllister, affectionately nicknamed "Haggis" by his colleagues, was born in a small village in the Scottish Highlands, where myths and folklore shaped much of his childhood. Raised in a family of shepherds, Angus developed a keen understanding of animal behavior and an appreciation for the mysterious. As a child, he became enthralled by local legends of kelpies, selkies, and other supernatural creatures, fostering a lifelong curiosity for the anomalous.
Despite his rural upbringing, McAllister excelled academically. He earned degrees in Zoology and Behavioral Ecology from the University of Edinburgh, followed by a Ph.D. in Cryptobiology from a classified academic partner of the SCP Foundation. His doctoral thesis, which focused on "Patterns in Non-Terrestrial Faunal Behavior," caught the Foundation's attention when it inadvertently described the behavioral tendencies of SCP-███.
McAllister's transition to the Foundation occurred after an incident involving SCP-████, a predatory anomaly disguised as a highland deer. While conducting unrelated wildlife research in a restricted area, McAllister managed to neutralize the anomaly using improvised tools and his understanding of animal aggression patterns. The Foundation intervened, and impressed by his resourcefulness and ability to think under pressure
