How long have you been a Senior Agent for?
  • I have been DEA for over 2 weeks, and had previous experience as DEA sr agent.
Why are you applying for Special Agent?
  • I want to become special agent as I want to have a bigger impact on external affairs. I want my actions to have an effect in regards to relations and policies while working within my boundaries. I want to be able to push out operations more freely and provide more opportunities for lower ranking members of SOP again.
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?:
- Previous SOP experience:
I have been in SOP for over a year, and as such have seen how it has operated and changed throughout that time. Its this experience that, I believe, gives me an edge over other candidates. I have learnt the policies and protocols for countless situations that I will face as a special agent. How to deal with GOIs, how to negotiate, how to combat hostiles and how to host raids and defend against them.

- Senior SOP experience:
I had held a senior position in SOP for quite some time, being a NU7 commissioned officer for nearly a year or so, and a commander for a few months. During this time I learnt the crucial skills needed of a cl4 SOP member. I know how to help those below me in the Chain of command and interact with a variety of people around site. I know the value of relations and know how to manage a department/MTF.

- Researcher experience:
I had previously been a researcher for quite some time, during that time I learnt a variety of skills that would be extremely useful as a DEA, for example the ability to write good documents. During my time in RSD I created MANY documents, a majority of which were graded at E. This would be good for DEA as department members often need to write documents, whether its a report, a handbook or an external affairs agreement and so my skills would be quite good in regards to that.

- Overall Clearance 4 experience:
I have held a variety of clearance four roles during my time, non combative and combative. Its this duality that I believe works best for DEA, as the department is a combative department, but also focuses non combative aspects, such as negotiations, meetings, discussions and interactions with other GOIs. Furthermore I have learnt how to conduct myself as a clearance four and how to present myself around people especially those who are newer to the department. I have helped teach many individuals the ropes of what to do in given roles during my time as these clearance four positions and this skill and have carried this into DEA.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
  • I have written countless documents, ranging from when I was primarily a researcher, creating around 10 E graded documents, to my time in NU7 where I made many many documents for operations, handbooks, reports and more.

What makes a document good is:
    - Formatting, having a easy to read and easy on the eyes documents can help ALOT especially when trying to get something like a policy through, which is very useful when interacting with other GOIs aswell.
    - Images, images can be a great way to make a document look better, and again, easier to understand.
    - summaries, Making sure to summarise a document can be very useful as people may need to skim through rather than read it all.
    - Other basic things like: Subheadings, Correct utilisation of fonts, Contents page, cover page, etc.
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?:

-Approve MC&D sales permits.
- Induct DEA operatives/agents.
- Identify potential Sr agents.
- Push forward operations.
- Negotiations with GOIs.
- Combat of GOIs.
- Providing input in key decisions regarding policies that regard SOP and external GOIs.
- Contributing to relation building with GOIs.
- Getting feedback from other departments/MTFs on SOP.
- Creating documents.
- Other basic CL4 duties (Closing BDs, approving AA when necessary, credit individuals, etc.)

Please give some lore about your Special Agent character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Name: Jimothy Loken
Codename: ‘Hamster’
Height: 5’11
Date of Birth: 13/03/----
Hair Colour: Black
Eye Colour: Green
Nationality: Germany

Biography:
Loken was born in Germany, to a small family. Him, his mother and his father, in the countryside. He grew up as a farm boy, doing work day and night. Due to the remote area he lived, he enjoyed going to the market, a bit of a distance away from where he lived, sent by his father. He loved interacting with others, and often went to the market to practice his social skills, growing to be better at speaking and negotiating for better deals. As he grew he yearned to venture the country, but was always stopped by his family. At the age of 18 he finally decided to leave, abandoning the life he knew to join the army. The army promised him the opportunity to travel not only the country but the world. And so he enlisted.

He travelled around, base to base, conducting training operations but never going on an actual operation. Until his unit was deployed to Afghanistan. He was there for a while, combating enemies with his unit. But what set him apart from the rest of his unit was his ability to work with the people of the country. He worked closely with citizens to gain information, recruiting informants who gave knowledge on enemy movements and negotiated conditions for cooperation in many towns.

One night Loken’s unit was sent on a mission, based on information he had obtained by one of his trusted sources. They were sent to a secluded mountainside via an armoured vehicle convoy, 3 humvees and one truck. They drove for 3 hours, taking a longer path to avoid being spotted. During the absolute dead of night however, they began to hear static over the radio and then voices. Voices providing cryptic threats telling them to stop and turn away. These voices were brushed off as enemy attempts to scare the envoy and were ignored, however they persisted, despite switches of frequencies. Soon the voices became more violent, and men began to repeat what they were hearing to themselves, when questioned they acted ignorantly not realising what they were saying. Eventually things escalated, the front vehicle swerved and flipped over, the rest of the convoy stopped and ran out their vehicles, a man ran out but was shot by another - The other men tried to de-escalate the situation but were fired upon, and so a full fire fight ensued, but men from the other vehicles were also shooting eachother. One after another men began to act against one another quickly, jimothy, however, did not. He got into a humvee and drove away as almost all the men had killed eachother. He was spared from whatever had effected them, likely because his headset was broken and not tapped into the frequency.

Foundation forces later came in and secured the area, with MTF forces, after Loken reported it to his command. Due to his quick response to the situation and report, the foundation managed to localize where the anomalous event was and respond. He was recruited to the foundation and was assigned to the department of external affairs due to his skills in negotiation and talking. Being transferred to Site-65 in Canada where his notable service got him promoted to sr agent, and continues to serve now.
