What Ethics Committee role are you applying for, and why:

I am applying for Ethics Committee member, as I feel like it is time for me to attempt to elevate to a Cl5 position with my experience from my current tenure within the site as COS which has allowed me to do a great amount of things which I am grateful for. I also have realized that I have an interest in elevating within the committee since I have been an ECA for some time now where I have gained a senior position.

What makes you the best candidate for the Ethics Committee?:


During my time on site 65, I have held 6 Cl4 Jobs: E-11 Lieutenant, GSD Captain, DEA Special Agent, IA Ambassador, and the two which I currently hold Ethics Committee Assistant and Chief Of Security

During my time as COS, I implemented several policies, which allowed me to develop GSD personnel and their RP experience.

For example:

- Cross-Test Escort program: this was a program made and decided on by E-11 Commander Mason Phillips, myself, and Site Manager Jax, which allowed for GSD SCU personnel to be utilized during Cross-Tests as Containment Specialists.

- GSDs CL4 Requirements rework: this has made the Requirements of GSD CL4 more orientated on making RP that benefits and involves GSD, as that is a gray area for GSD and needs to be improved on.

These are two more recent policies that I have implemented. Other which have been put into place by myself include the following:

- Rework of work permits: This cleared up the issues of proper authorization being given as there were no signature spots for if MLT needed to sign off on a work permit, and introduced a new Work permit which was EZ receptionist.

- Cross-Training Manual: gave CPTs and SGTs a guide on how to plan Cross-trainings and make them happen.

- SRU X CM Duties handbook: this was proposed by the CM lead at that point and then implemented by myself

- GSD CL4 induction guide: this guide introduces Captains to the department while ensuring all the info they need is given via the guide.

I also have an operation named “input” which gets GSD interviewing d-cl

During my time as an E-11 CO I was the Requirement manager for a quick second, however, for the majority of my time as a CO I was jackal supervisor and activity manager. Whilst I held these roles i mainly focused on trying to improve the state of jackals as when I first joined way before it had been near to non-existent. Some of the documents I made can be found below.

During my time in IA (ISD now) I learned valuable lessons from many of my colleagues, especially from Merrick Travolta and John Mainfrezzer. My time as an ambassador was mainly a welcoming into being a cl4 member of the site, and a time for me to really gain an understanding of the FLC.

As a DEA Special agent, I did not take part in any Major RP as I was mainly holding this job as an Escape from what was at that moment GSD CPT but soon after being accepted to ECA, I resigned as 3 CL4 jobs was too much. During my time in the DEA, I got to learn how SOP personnel worked and what their procedures were.

As an Assistant of the ethics committee, I have gained the role of Senior Assistant which for me is a massive achievement and I believe would also be if it was anyone else in my position. During my tenure as ECA, I have made the following project

Project enrollment: This project has involved dea attempting to recruit Civis under the cover they were going to enlist in the CAF and they were being given a tour. After being given a tour they would be interviewed, and depending on whether they passed or failed they would move on to the next stage. If they passed they would be inducted into a CL1 job of their choice and if they failed, they would be amnestic and taken off the site like this never happened.

EC | NTF-456789873230: This is an operation where I worked on investigating E-11 and the security of HCZ. During this time I interviewed E-11 operatives on what they thought about the safety of HCZ and whether closing secondary BD impacts the security of HCZ. My verdict based on my findings was that secondary BD closed decreases the risk of HCZ’s Security.


RSD Cross-test Survey: for this program, I interviewed around 10 members of RSD about what stops them from doing Cross-tests and how that could be changed. Overall I found out that it was mainly that they had a lack of knowledge and that they just weren't bothered i also found an approach that could act as an incentive to promote Cross-tests.

Operation Cleanup: this operation had D-block and Interro be checked for Environmental conditions which could promote/endorse going against the site or Was classified. From that, I found I concluded that D-block was clear of this anomaly however we did find out that Interro cells need to be repainted as it had some random clutter on their walls.

Overall I have the understanding of departments and their duties, I have created a substantial amount of Documentation for GSD and even E-11, and I have been involved in my fair share of operations both during my tenure as ECA and whilst not and ECA.

What are the responsibilities of the Ethics Committee in RP?:

Deciding on who becomes AssistantsThese are the people who will be representing the ethics committee on a daily basis and even during situations where an ethics member cannot be present, and with that it is imperative that they understand ethics and what they do on a normal day.
Deciding who becomes Director of Internal SecurityFor this choosing the right director ensures that all of ISD have the proper input on how the job is done but also on what they need to know to get that job done. This means that in most cases if not all they need to know how to lead.
Deciding on who becomes O-1 Commander​
O-1 is a vital asset of the Committee and therefore it is imperative that we ensure their Regiment command has a storing leader who can get things done.​
Authing mass TermThis is in the case that in mass groups d-class are rioting and fleeing from d-block, however, this should only be authed as a last resort.
Authing AA
AA is a key part of equipment as it allows MTF NCO+ to deal with extreme code 5s easily through their ability to use this equipment.​
Leading tribunalsThis means that you would be alongside the jury deciding the fate of someone which means that you need to know what you are doing and you need to understand the FLC
Signing of tests that require EC authThis would be 008 tests most likely as they cannot be authed by any normal assistant unless instructed to sign on behalf of an ECM.
Dealing with ensuring departments are being maintained properlyThis is mainly done by SA but in the case it isn't then it would be time for you to intervene and make sure whatever is going on is dealt with suitably.
Calling in ERT
This is in the case that extra support is needed when dealing with the active C5 which is currently occurring on site.​
Dealing with info leaks on a site-wide scaleIn this situation, the info leak would be on a site-wide scale leading us to only having one option which is having a site-wide amnestication. However, before this, you must announce to all members who have the clearance level to hold this info that they should seek shelter in an area such as F3/ECO/EOC so that they don't get amnesticated.
Dealing with any ethical violations
this is either done by an assistant on your behalf or personally depending on the situation. This could be a violation of safety procedures as prescribed by the ACS of that SCP, or it could be failing to get approval for a test in the case of a 914 test that involves biological matter.​
Making RP which the site can access and benefit from:As a Cl5 member of the site it is imperative to create RP which involves a variety of departments and regiments and is inclusive.
Being Ethical Advisors
As an ECM you are designated a member of the O5 council who you must advise, to make sure that they are doing the acceptable things whilst on-site.​

Accepting or denying ECA/Director of ISD applications- this is through gaining and giving your opinion on who should lead that department or regiment and then giving a final verdict based on the opinions given forward.

Acting as an example of foundation command and people who are in high-ranking positions within the community and what is expected of such people.

Dealing with OOC Misconduct- For example: From a Senior CL4 member in the case that they had been toxic or harassing someone for example(this could be an SA matter but it depends on the person themself and where they stand in the COC).

Harvey is someone who is very mature and professional for his age, every interaction I've had with him has always been pleasent and I know that he is always doing something to generate some sort of RP. He also has a very good understanding of his role as ECA. The dedication he has is also very clear, also including his CoS role.

A tiny bit of feedback from me.

Would it be possible for you to expand on some of the things that you've done in your examples a bit more? Mainly, I personally would be looking for what lasting impact these have had / how they have positively impacted the people involved.

So for my operations with Enrollment, I have interviewed at least half a dozen Civis in regards to recruitment, and to my recollection 2 passed. Mainly for DEA, they got to see how we recruit people into the site in a more unique case. It also was a rare case where Ethics and DEA worked alongside each other

For the RSD cross-test survey I gave it to one of the DORs and recommended they look into maybe putting in this incentive program however I haven't seen anything like that to my knowledge except Jacequilines Contest.

I have known Harvey for a long time even though I may not be as active as I used to in site I know that Harvey has been very active and he had done a lot of work as cl4 also I know about some of the challenges he has overcome I know him ever since he was GSD cadet but the app is well presented and amazing also he is very professional in the way he roleplays and plays the game. I think he is a very good candidate for cl5 and I hope to see him in this position soon.

I'm not going to leave a + or - as I fear your time in the spotlight began after my exit, however I would like to sing some praises for you.

You have proven to me to be an effective taskmaster and quality control CoS, removing undesireable captains, this has plagued the server, but GSD especially, for months if not years, it's good to see someone with a backbone in the chief's chair, and if you are as good at RP and Management as you are at quality control, you would be most deserving of ECM.

Possibly to be honest with you on one of our first interactions you went into D-block as a techie after I told you not to which made me have to get like 3 GSD and we had to rush in, and it kind of just made me the impression you just like getting on people's nerves. However, I don't believe that anymore as I have gotten to know you a bit better, probably during the time I didn't know you I would have distanced myself however I am unsure, Still thanks for the support.
