Why are you applying for Director of External Affairs?
I'm applying for a couple of reason. Firstly I honestly enjoy playing DEA, you may see me shouting in game or even frustrated but I earnestly enjoying playing it. Secondly, I'd like to make changes and lead the Department my own way as I believe I have some ideas that could shake up DEAs current progression system and what DEA can do around site. As Site Admin can see in the DEA CL4 section, I am currently discussing one of these ideas.
Last but not least, I've have been nagged by a certain few people to apply, including ones in my own department. You know who you are.

I believe I'm suitable to become the new Director of External Affairs due to a few reasons.
Firstly, as I start most of my apps with now, Experience:
I've held numerous roles across this site and believe I have played everyone of them to the fullest. I know what I'm doing as a Director already and how to lead a department. I'd say I've acquired the necessary managerial to handle this especially from my time in Site Command and Administration
Next up, my Activity on site:
Now, I'm not claiming to be the most active player, what I mean by this is that when I'm active on site I make the most of my time. I will always be up to something, be that handling an issue, sorting meetings or engaging in Roleplay. I do not like to stand idly by when I'm on site. If someone tries to reach me on comms for example, I make sure to reply and engage with what's going on, and if I can't handle a matter I delegate.
Diplomacy!
While this is a core function of DEA, I pride myself on being able to talk with all people and engage them. I've been able to effectively communicate with departments and GOIs and coordinate what needs to be done, ranging from meetings and operations to sorting our raids on the Insurgency.
Leadership skills
During my over a year long tenure as Site Command and months as Administration, I've had to weigh in on many matters, be that policy changes, disciplinary actions or even a simple argument that's gotten out of hand. Naturally this skills would be useful to any departmental leader and I believe make me suitable for the role.

First and foremost, the reasonability of the Director is to ensure that the Department is functioning and well managed. Ensuring that the department is fulfilling their base duties without issue and engaging in Roleplay throughout the server. Additionally this includes the management of the CL4 members of DEA, making sure that they assist in this and are contributing to DEA.
The Director has the final say on all promotions in the Department, able to add and remove all of the Whitelists within DEA.
They are responsible for granting the Special Agent Whitelist to those who have been approved and interviewed, and decided which Special Agents have done well enough to earn the rank of Department Manger.
The Director of External Affairs, as the name my suggest, handles the External Affairs and relations of Site-65. Often having the final say in how DEA conducts itself regarding GOIs, such as instructing DEA to work closer with UNGOC or to act against MC&D.
As with any Director, a key responsibility is creating Roleplay for DEA.
