Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
I have not received any kicks/bans/warnings.
Why are you applying for Internal Affairs Ambassador?
I am applying for IA Ambassador in hopes of assisting IA grow in numbers, standards and effectivity. Typically when I come on I see a new IA agent requesting to be trained, they ask for about 5-10 minutes (some go up to 30 minutes to 1 hour) and wait for no one to arrive in order to train them. After that I do not see them ask again nor see them play on the IA Agent/Operative job meaning we have lost members who may benefit us greatly as Agents or future Ambassadors. This is rather unfortunate as it means we will struggle to uphold the CoC and CoE to the level we could if those members had been trained and allowed to provide help to IA.
Furthermore IA gets a bad reputation of having inactive higher-ups who don't do their job reflecting badly on everyone directly involved in IA.
Furthermore I would like to try and make IA more co-ordinated by ensuring peoples questions are answered and by assisting members in making the right choices so they can understand how to operate and become more independent allowing them to become more effective at what they do and ensure security in the CoC/CoE across the site.
What makes you suitable for Internal Affairs Ambassador?:
I believe that my passion for helping people will drive me to become a good example of an Internal Affairs Member and ensure that other IA members understand what is expected/required of them by offering them the guidance I can provide when they require it. I am happy to assist people who require it and I occasionally point out errors that occur and provide solutions as to how to fix said errors.
Furthermore I have experience in dealing with situations as Internal Affairs meaning I can provide another point of view to new members as to how to ensure CoC and CoE is being followed. This may be in D-Block or during tests without having said tests become bias to following the CoC/CoE due to an IA member watching over the experiment. I know how to detain people quickly and how to get to the bottom of situations in order to provide a fair outcome and I plan on helping new and experienced Agents out as an Ambassador.
I can also be a mature, strict rule following person who gets the job done or a fun guy who can relax and boost moral. The ability to change between the two ensuring we maintain professional appearance and acts whilst also making sure people enjoy what they do is vital. That is what keeps people doing what they are doing and strive to improve themselves within their job.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
I have made quite a few arrest report documents and have made one investigation report. Documents should provide relevant facts and details with an explanation afterwards. Facts and details which explain the situation for what it is and not formed around the end objective/outcome. For instance an arrest report should contain the details and facts of what happened, untouched meaning they aren't bent towards why they were arrested, that is what the explanation of the punishment should be for. Whilst this may not be in an ending paragraph it may be embedded in the description itself.
Documents should be clear with all information required for ethics or IA Ambassador+ to review and take further action on if required. Ensuring names of everyone involved is listed so the event can be later reviewed and opinions/observations may be taken from said people.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Affairs Ambassador in RP?:
Some of the responsibilities are:
. Overseeing the IA Agents to ensure they follow guidelines and make fair, reasonable judgements and preform adequate actions
. Ensure all documents are up to standards, i.e no waffling, straight to the point with clear details
. Provide training/education to IA members in order to ensure they know how to preform their duties
. Guiding IA Agents down the right path and ensure you don't force it to them otherwise they will feel controlled and won't progress
. Training new IA Agents and ensure they act professionally after they have been job approved
. Enforcing the CoC/CoE at a higher level than an Agent can.
. Ensuring IA Agents are actively upholding CoC/CoE and provide adequate consequences to those who break the CoC/CoE
. Making sure people aren't being unfairly punished and resolving any issues people may have with IA.
Please give some lore about your Internal Affairs Ambassador character and what storylines they would be involved in:
James Krane is a police officer who had been serving as an officer for 15 years. James Krane always felt a need to ensure justice is served for everyone, no matter their back ground. However in some cases justice could not be served due to the system the government has in place. James snapped one day demanding changes that are just not possible and was dismissed from all duties as an officer. James decided that he wouldn't stop trying to serve justice to those who deserve it, setting up petitions and protests in order to make changes.
Whilst setting these events up James was being watched by men in military uniform. He was also being watched at night by 966. It seems as though 966 couldn't deprive James of sleep no matter how hard they try. One night 966 was felt by James as he got out of bed suddenly only to be knocked back into bed by 966 who was standing over him. James believe it was just a dream.
The next day James was preparing for one of the protests he had organised, everything happened as normal however the men in military uniform were not to be seen. In their replacement stood 3 men in suits, 2 with sunglasses one without. As James approached the men in suits to ask if they were taking part he blacked out and woke up in a white room covered in padding as though he was in a psychiatric ward. The three men in suits entered the room and explained who they are and what they do. Detailing how they were following James as he appears to be immune to SCP-966's insomnia effects. They also told him they were observing his actions and how he strives for justice to all inspired them to look further into James. The 3 men presented James with a suit to wear and a name tag saying "Critical - IA Agent" and escorted him to a lecture hall to invite him into becoming an Internal Affairs Agent in the foundation ensuring justice is served to all without restrictions.
2 weeks in and James Krane had ensured justice comes to all, D-Class and site staff. Helping to prevent breaches by ensuring Code of Conduct and Code of Ethics is followed by everyone during tests, and whilst guards are ensuring security is held tight in D-Block.
