Age: 17

In what country are you located?: Germany

Time zone: CEST

Character name(s): James Henderson (F)

Civilian name: N/A

What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP UK

Do you have a mic?:
-
Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
-
MTF Nu-7 [T&D] [LDR] SGT

Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
-
Yes I have received an NLR warning, the reason was I died in lobby by a CI and after I respawned, my team said there was CI in lobby so I reported it in C3, and the CI thought I NLR'd when I just got comms from TS, but I should have known that's not allowed, and I was informed and have kept my record clean since.

Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
-
I am applying for Executive Researcher, because, I strongly believe I can make a positive change to the research department. I really enjoy writing documents and hosting helpful and informative trainings for people to attend and learn something new or learn something that adds on to their prior knowledge. As stated, I am a SGT in Nu-7 who is on the leadership track. I am a part of that because I have been noticed to be a good mentor and instructor by my peers and my higher ups. I enjoy teaching, as you can tell. I have made a positive reputation for myself in the research department where I have made outstanding documents, and taught a lot of Jr researchers the ropes, as well as hosted a lecture to help others write documents just as good as mine. I would like to be able to grade others documents, and give them proper and helpful feedback to make them better researchers and writers. I strongly believe everyone is good at writing, It just all depends on what they read and who they listen to for mentorship, I as a mentor, will help these researchers become the best of they can be, and guide them to be on the same level or higher than me.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
-
I believe I am suitable for Executive researcher due to the reasons stated above, and because of my determination, creativity, activity, and leadership. I can make all researchers that want to learn, excel in every field of the research department. Whether it be writing, gathering test results, holding lectures, or even grading documents and showing them the criteria they should be aware of and looking for. I have plenty of experience, which is proven by the 7 excellent documents I've written in a matter of a day and a half, and the lecture I hosted which even senior researchers attended. I strongly believe everyone is great, and that the researchers in the research department are like a treasure to yet be discovered. I want to unveil their best abilities, whether that be writing, public speaking, or gathering results and make them the best in that field and teach them how to be better in the other fields so they become the best of the best in terms of researchers. My goal is to help the research department advance in their goals and help make future generations of great researchers for the better of the research department.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
-
I have 7 excellent graded documents. What makes a document excellent...It strongly depends on the person. The criteria for excellent documents is there, but creativity, diversity, and relevancy in terms of information are what really makes a document excellent. That is one thing about the research department I love, it is diversity. Every researcher and executive researcher is different. One might love your document, while the other also does, but believes you could add more flare or be more creative when coming up with a hypothesis. Creativity. is a must in every excellent document. Without creativity you will have no document, it will be a stale, long written, boring, piece of work. Writing should be like art, it should stand out, make readers wonder of all the different meanings and ways you portrayed or could have portrayed the test or scenario. Once you master the art of creative writing, you will be a third of the way to having an excellent document. Diversity. is a strong suit that the research department has, each person and document differs from one another, even though they were all on the same SCP. If your document is more diverse then others you will stand out, this ties in with creativeness, if you create a new scenario, that tests something no one else has tested before then you will be halfway done with writing your excellent document. You're in luck too seeing as the research department is so diverse you have loads of work and exemplars to use if needed. The last point, that I believe makes a document excellent is relevancy in terms of information. If you have already mastered creativity and diversity, than this one shouldn't be too much of a problem for you. You want all the information you can get. The Executive Researchers and higher ups, want you to make every document as detailed as possible, don't be afraid to mention even the smallest detail, like you going to acquire a D-class and an escort. Every test on any SCP can have enough detail and info to fill more than 3-4 pages just on results alone. I trust that when you master Creativity, and Diversity you will have no problem in adding loads of detail in your document to make it an excellent document.

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
-
The main responsibilities of an Executive Researcher are as follows; Help Researchers, conduct tests, observe, grade papers. Help Researchers. Helping researchers is must do job when it comes to an Executive Researcher, you must always be able to assist other researchers either below you or above you in rank if they may happen to have a question, this would make you stand out as a leadership figure and more people would seek you for advice or for help in future situations, regarding documents, tests, or even document input prior to grading. Conduct Tests. As an Executive Researcher, you have the responsibility of allowing other researchers to test on higher clearance levels should they ask, if their hypothesis and test method is approved by yourself or another executive researcher. Another thing you should be doing as an Executive Researcher is conducting tests on CL4 SCP's, you have finally reached that point in your research career where you should do outstanding tests on those SCP's that will help further the research departments goals or the facilities goals. Observe. Observing other tests and researchers procedures during the test is a must, you should go around assisting researchers if you see they need help during the test, and you should make sure they gather all the proper results and follow the CoE and CoC at all times. Grade Papers. This is a pretty simplified topic, you should know how to properly grade papers, seeing as you are a trusted researcher who writes excellent documents 100 percent of the time and you have enough knowledge to judge documents grades. Always remember you have colleagues that can give a second opinion if needed as well.

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Name: James Henderson
Code name: 'Red Bird'
DOB: 4/12/19(Redacted)
Status: Active Personnel

I was a college student who was majoring in Physics, and psychology. Once I graduated I was sought after by this one job, which I'd seen pop up a lot in my email, It was called (Redacted).inc. Once I clicked on it, it brought me to this one website, which seemed to be their home page for this company. I checked the jobs they were hiring for and they had this one job which required everything I had majored in, the starting pay was around 60,000 US dollars, so I went on a whim and decided to apply. They got back to me rather fast, and after a few conversations back and forth with the representative, they sent me the official documents to sign before being integrated into their work force. I found it strange that I would not be able to get a tour of their work space, but they showed me loads of pictures and where I would be working so I wasn't bothered by it at all. Once I signed these very heft documents, I noticed a small imprint mentioning this "You may lose all contact with the outside world, depending on your clearance rank after the entrance exam, you will be briefed more once you pass". I found that very strange and asked the representative about it and they told me it was just a temporary thing, in case I deal with any classified info, seeing as this company was associated with this weird government company called (Redacted). I then sent my papers over to the representative where he later told me he will process them and let me know further details later. A day had passed and I awoke to a phone call, It was a number I had never seen before and the last few digits were redacted. I picked up and asked who it was. The voice on the other end said it was the representative who had said he would get back to me. He told me his name was (Redacted) and he told me how I passed and I would be flown out to (Redacted) to continue my paperwork. The company paid for my flight and sent a car to pick me up and drive me to this big building where the exams were to be held. I was sat down in the exam room and processed by a guard who then told me to wait for further instruction. I was in a giant lecture hall with about two other people that were also taking the exam, when a man in a suit walked in. He introduced himself as Dr.(Redacted) and briefed us on what the exam is about. Once he finished he set a timer on the screen for one hour and let us start the exam. The exam was fairly simple, but there were some very strange questions, such as (Redacted......) and (Redacted.....) I had never heard of these things, but used my prior knowledge in this field of research to answer accordingly. Once the test was over, Dr(Redacted) took our tests and graded them at his desk while we waited. After the grading was done, he seemed very amused, and he called somebody to come retrieve someone he referred to as 'Red Bird'. Next thing I know, Dr(Redacted) walked out the room and the room filled with smoke, I couldn't see and all of a sudden I passed out. I later awoke in a weird bunk sort of room. I walked out the room and found myself in some sort of facility, It was called (Redacted). Once I stepped out I was greeted by Dr.(Redacted) and I asked him what was going on and where I am. He told me not to worry, and that I will be caught up on everything. The last thing he told me was, "Welcome to your new home, 'Red Bird' ".
