What can you bring to the Global Occult Coalition:
| 1.Professionalism: I am always professional and never minge. I show unconditional respect to my "colleagues" and I act according to any situation. |
| 2. Leadership: I have the leadership skills needed for the GOC. I am able to think fast and give advices to other people, if I need to I can take full control over situations. I also take constructive criticism and I am able to listen to other people about issues they have or any other thing they could need. |
| 3. Interrogations and Negotiations: As I have shown throughout my time in intel I am very experienced in interrogations and negotiations. I always have plans if the negotiation goes south, which can turn a disadvantageous situation into an advantageous one really fast. I have interrogated multiple people during my time as intel and I have multiple methods of getting information out of them, which are always effective. |
| 4.Gun skills: Whenever it is needed I am able to use guns to an extreme efficiency. Throughout my time in the server I have been able to master nearly every gun and I can adapt to every single one. I have been in multiple disadvantageous gun fights and I have been able to prevail in most of them. |
| 5.Documentation: I have written multiple documents as my time in intel and I am able to do excellent documents every time I write one. I have done around 30 documents as intel and 2-3 as CI(They are still being used). If I get my head to an Idea I am able to put it together in a document show it to people and execute the Idea. |
Why do you want to join the Global Occult Coalition?:
| I wish to join the GOC since its a new GOI that is able to give a LOT of opportunities for serious and interesting roleplay. I find its ways much more interesting than the foundation, since they are much more humane and serious when it comes to the human life. I wish to have much more political interactions and I believe that this is going to make it easier. I love talking and roleplay that can end in a war just by a few words. |
Why was the Global Occult Coalition founded?:
| It got founded in the aftermath of the seventh occult war, after defeating the Nazi occultists that tried to complete the ritual by the name "Rite of Solomon". |
| Following that the GOC was founded by 108 different paranormal organizations, one of them the Allied Occult Initiative for the shared goal to protect mankind under all costs. |
What does the PHYSICS, PSYCHE, and PTOLEMY Divisions specialize in and give an example of some functions they do:
| PHYSICS: The Physics division is the action arm of the GOC, it is similar to Foundation "MTF" units. Their main objective is destroying Threat Entities(TE's) and they have 2 main teams. They are the Assessment team which investigate and observe parathreats. The Strike Team which capture and eliminate parathreats and fight against hostile GOI. |
| PSYCHE: They are the diplomatic force of the GOC. They make sure relations are good in the paranormal community and maintain peace between humanity and the occult powers. The Ambassadors are the main diplomatic contacts of the GOC. Special Observers are special agents that observe investigations for possible paranormal threats. |
| PTOLEMY: That is the GOC's support arm. They are tasked with supporting the other arms of the GOC and maintaining the smooth operation the the GOC. They have 2 main squadrons The Quartermasters, which handle everything from distribution of weapons to medical help and food supplies. The R&D, which research anomalies and develop new equipment. |
What Are the Global Occult Coalition's goals?:
| 1. Survival: The GOC must protect humanity from all parathreats no matter what. (this mission take priority over the others) |
| 2. Concealment: The knowledge of any paranormal threat has to be kept secret by the GOC, to not cause a mass panic. |
| 3. Protect: The GOC shall try and protect individual humans (operatives and civillians) at all times. |
| 4. Destruction: The GOC shall destroy all paranormal threats no matter what, as they could lead to the extinction of the human race. |
| 5. Education: The GOC should expand their knowledge on parathreats and study them, as long as it does not collide with the other 4 statements. |
Please explain The Seventh Occult War:
| The war sparked out during the second world war. The Nazi "Ahnerebe Obskuracorps" attempted a ritual by the name of Rite of Solomon" or "SCP-3457" which would summon a being able to bend reality to its own wish. They needed 7 keys to complete the ritual and they had gotten 6 but needed 1 more. Their commander weiss was captured at that time by the foundation and they were able to extract the information about the nazi's plan out of him. The Foundation and The AOI( GOC during that time) launched an operation to stop the ritual. Because of that operation the "Ahnerebe Obskuracorps" could not complete the ritual the the seventh occult war came to an end. |
What makes the Global Occult Coalition different in in-comparison to the other groups within the SCP-universe in your view?:
| The GOC has a very different view on anomalies than any other anomalous organization. The Foundation tries to contain the anomalous entities to protect humanity but conduct research on it with live humans. Their goals are similar but the GOC do NOT agree with them researching on them with live people but would prefer to destroy the anomalies where the foundation would contain them and try to keep them there forever. Or lets say MC&D, they use the anomalies for business. They sell them to people as exotic items just to profit off of it. They are different because they are fully dedicated to protecting humanity with NO exeptions. Or maybe the Serpents Hand, who try to spread awareness about the anomalous world to the public, which could spark a global panic |

| Mick root was born in Boise, Idaho in a loving family of teachers. His mother Lea Root was a physics teacher and his father Jack Root was a chemistry teacher. He had always loved both physics and chemistry so much that they became a passion of his. When he was third grade he knew chemistry at a level of a year 7 and physics at the level of a year 8. After graduation High School with perfect scores he applied to Harvard, where he would continue studying about his passions. He got accepted and started studying at Harvard. 4 years after that he graduated with nearly perfect scores and started searching for a job that he likes. 3 moths after he still had not found a job but he found a new belief. He was never really religious but he loved the ideas of LaVeyan Satanism. A week following that he got a job offer at NASA for a position at the Science team(Planetary studies). 2 Years after that he was established as a Senior Planetary Space Scientist. Just as he was leaving work a colleague of his wanted him to stay and help him with something to which, Mick agreed. The other researcher was a recruiter of The United Church of Satan which believe in the supremacy of human self-will over all "false gods," and are hostile to any and all deities: if God exists, it is the duty of humankind to kill it. After explaining to Root about what he is going to do there as a scientist he asked him if he would like to join them. Mick accepted and was able to join it. 1 year after that he took lead in a project involving scp 447-2, which was believed to be a god, which could take human bodies that touch 447-1. The foundation wanted more info on it but Mick was able to find the right words and get out of the situation without giving them info and with 0 casualties. 2 months after the project the GOC saw his potential and recruited him for the Ptolemy division as a researcher. |
