For how long have you played on CG SCP: 1 month
Age: 21
In what country are you located?: Hungary
Time zone: GMT+2
Character name(s): James Orbese
Civilian name: James Not Orbese
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): SCP-RP UK
Do you have a mic?:
Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
Internal Security Investigator
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
Toxicity Warning: I made an inappropriate comment in LOOC out of frustration.
RDM Warning: I ordered a Gensec Guard to terminate a D-Class in a test while the said D-Class was restrained. This was a rash and inappropriate response to the situation, from which I have learned greatly.
RDM Warning (Resulted in a 6-hour ban): An ISD officer restrained me from behind. He held no weapon, so I broke out. After he missed with a tranq, I took the opportunity to shoot him. The moderator informed me that this was against the server rules, and after many days of reflection and regret (accompanied by a few nights of crying in my bed), I have understood and accepted the rule.
Why are you applying for Internal Security Inspector?:
I have received positive feedback from the Commissioners regarding my performance as an agent and investigator. They encouraged me to apply for this role. I embrace this opportunity because I want to continually improve my skills and contribute more significantly to the Foundation’s work.
What makes you suitable for Internal Security Inspector?:
I am persistent, a fast-learner and adaptable, qualities that are crucial in this line of work. I have a keen interest in investigating and documenting cases—both of which are core responsibilities of the Inspector role—and my work has been acknowledged by the leading personnel in my department, proving my claims.
What do you think describes an ideal Internal Security Inspector?:
An ideal Inspector is someone who is:
-Patient, to be able to see a case through from start to finish and maintain composure in intense situations.
-Wise, for avoiding hasty decisions while carefully analyzing each situation.
-Humble, keeping one’s cool even when provoked, as a high ego is the mind killer.
-Inspirational, for being capable of representing the department with dignity and inspiring fellow agents.
How many major, roleplay-serving documents have you written? What makes a document of this nature good in terms of quality?:
I have written six incident reports related to my arrests, including one major case involving a Captain’s murder charge. Additionally, I have authored a “good” grade research study on SCP-18394—reportedly the first comprehensive documentation on the object.
A high-quality incident report document:
-Adheres strictly to the departmental template while possibly including additional sections for added insight and creativity.
-Contains flawless grammar and clear drafting to avoid any ambiguity or misinterpretation.
-Includes all relevant details necessary to support the charge while omitting redundant information.
-Maintains a neutral tone, as partiality undermines both the document and the integrity of the investigation.
What are the responsibilities of the Internal Security Inspector in RP?:
-Uphold the order of the department when Commissioner+ is absent.
-Complete any duties assigned by their branch.
-Lead investigations and execute the lawful arrest of CL4 personnel.
-Delegate tasks and provide training to agents.
Please elaborate on why you think you'd be a good leadership position holder for Internal Security:
I am capable of acting as a competent leader in front of subordinates and making key decisions in high-pressure situations. I possess the ability to be both empathetic and strict, depending on what the situation demands. My track record demonstrates that I perform my duties efficiently and make a noticeable impact as part of a team.
Please give some lore about your Internal Security Inspector character and what storylines they would be involved in:
James Orbese began his journey as a Class-D personnel at Site 65, driven by the desperate search for a cure for "orbesity." Despite the numerous testing sessions and medical check-ups offering little hope, his effectiveness as a test subject earned him a position within the Foundation. Although his initial assignment was janitorial work, Orbese’s ambition spurred him to pursue more. Through swift and rigorous training, he ascended the ranks, joining the GSD and then moving on to the Security Response Unit. Finding the GSD duties lackluster, he set his sights on becoming an Agent of the ISD.
As a rookie, Orbese worked on a major case involving the murder of a D-Class personnel by a GSD captain. With the assistance of Inspector Jakobim, he successfully apprehended the captain, earning significant recognition for his efforts. His consistent performance led to a promotion to investigator, fueling his aspiration to become an Internal Security Inspector. Who knows, someday he might find the cure he desired for so long.
