For how long have you played on CG SCP: I am unsure when exactly I started playing, however I started playing SCP:RP seriously a couple weeks ago.
Age: 16
In what country are you located?: Norway
Time zone: CEST (GMT+2)
Character name(s): James Overscott
Civilian name: Herr Overscott
What server are you applying for? (SCP-RP UK or SCP-RP USA): UK
Do you have a mic?: Yes

List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held:
CI-A [Holding]

Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?:
No.

Why are you applying for Executive Researcher?
I am applying for executive researcher as I wish to have more opportunities to research on classified SCPs. I also want to have a larger presence in the research department, and I would love to be able to help out new researchers who are just starting out to the best of my ability.

What makes you suitable for Executive Researcher?:
I believe that I am suitable for the role of Executive Researcher as I possess a fair amount of knowledge regarding SCPs and how to conduct research studies. I am also very fond of helping out new researchers whenever they have any questions or need any help regarding research studies or chemistry. I consider myself to be a friendly and approachable person, and I believe that I do well in administrative positions as well.

I also believe that I take the initiative and that I am, in general, curious. I am not afraid to take on large projects. An example of this actually happened today where I lead a test where we were going to sample SCP-008. Unfortunately, due to the hatch being bugged out and randomly opening, we were unable to take said samples. Had it not been for this bug though, I can guarantee we would have succeeded.

How many excellent-graded documents have you written? What makes a document excellent?
So far I have written 8 excellent documents.
An excellent document should have close to zero grammar mistakes and a good document structure. It should also have an aim & purpose, and it should be executed in a responsible, efficient & ethical way.

What are the responsibilities of the Executive Researcher in RP?:
In RP, an executive researcher has numerous responsibilities, such as:
Approving credits and grading documents (as well as giving feedback on said graded documents on what was good and what could be improven upon)
Helping other researchers with research studies, chemistry or just about anything within the Science Department
Overseeing experiments if it requires your approval
Enforcing the ScD Policy, as well as punishing researchers who breach it
Normal CL4 responsibilities, such as turning on / off teslas, opening breach shelters, helping evacuate, opening the AA, etc.
Having a good attitude and behaviour, since you will be representing the Department of Research!

Please give some lore about your Executive Researcher character and what storylines they would be involved in:
As a young teenager, James Overscott had always been interested in chemistry and science. So interested that, once he turned 19 and finished Norwegian upper secondary school, he immediately applied to the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in order to take a masters degree in chemistry. While he technically had already been conscripted to join the Norwegian Armed Forces at the age of 18, he was lucky enough to get an extension in order to finish his education.

After passing with flying colours at the age of 24, James Overscott was ready to get a job that had *something* to do with chemistry or science. It did not really matter what exactly the job was, so long he was able to work with what he loved. What seemed like an unfortunate happening at the time, Overscott's conscription was due, and he joined the Norwegian Army as a CBRN-specialist. A CBRN-specialist (CBRN stands for Chemical, Biological, Radiactive and Nuclear) was just the right job for Overscott though, and he soon realized that this was a job he loved doing.

While on an international mission in ████████, United Kingdom, James Overscott was exposed to a wormhole after chasing after a suspect who had been suspected of making nuclear weapons in his garage. After getting sucked into said wormhole, Overscott found himself within an endless maze of books. A patron there introduced the library as "The Wanderer's Library", and gave him an option to either stay and read a bit, or leave immediately. Overscott was originally going to leave, however his curiosity got the better of him and he stayed for a while to read a couple books. A couple books became more books, and some of said books possessed knowledge man was not supposed to know.

This "forbidden knowledge" of sorts took a heavy toll on Overscott's sanity, causing him to be discharged from the army due to mental illness once he returned out of the library, 2 months later. His ramblings must have been heard by an SCP Agent, as he was soon taken in for questioning. However, the agent soon found that Overscott had subconsciously suppressed all memories of what happened within The Wanderer's Library since his discharge from the army, and no amount of questioning was going to have his mind unravel said thoughts. However, considering his background and education, he was instead given a second chance: a job as a junior researcher at the SCP Foundation. A job he accepted.
