What makes you the best candidate for Overseer Assistant?:
I think that, as has been shown during my time as an Executive Researcher, I am capable of driving forward roleplay not just for myself but for others. As I believe that the role of an Assistant, and the Council as a whole, should be to function as such a driving force I believe that I am a good pick for the position.

What are the responsibilities of Overseer Assistants in RP?:
The most vital duty of an Assistant is to act as a direct delegate from the Council to matters that, for whatever reason, they themselves cannot attend to at that time. At the same time, they are to concern themselves with any further needs of either individual councilmembers, or the council as a whole.
A part that is related, but that I believe is ultimately not the most important part, are the passive duties that an Assistant is to perform. These are duties similar to those most other CL4 roles perform;
That which truly defines an Overseers' Assistant in RP is not just what they can or must do. It's about who they are in the structure of the foundation.
Their responsibility is to be a driving force. Pushing events forward, facilitating decisions, and acting with the broader mission of the Foundation in mind. They represent the will and presence of the council- Not as passive bureaucrats, but as active extensions of the Councils' will and needs.
Assistants should not be viewed solely as intermediaries. They are the visible side of the thirteen individuals entrusted with safeguarding humanity as we know it.
In RP, I believe that presence matters.
Let Site-Administration handle the logistics, the procedures, the minutiae. The duty of the Assistants is to embody that part of authority, decisiveness and purpose of the council.
Their responsibility is not just to resent the policies that the Council thrusts upon the wider Foundation, but to represent the power and direction that said Council holds. To drive forwards the foundations greater goals on the behalf of the council.

Why do you wish to become an Overseer Assistant?:
As I listed before, I am somewhat of the opinion that the general function of an Overseers' assistant, or perhaps the council at large, is somewhat watered down within the community. I've seen assistants be brushed off, throw a laugh, and do things that I don't think truly facilitate the influence that an Assistant should be capable of having.
Simply put, I believe there's a lack of mystery. The nature of the council is worn too heavily on the sleeve, rather than being the shadowed closed-rooms group that governs everything that the Foundations' employees encounter during their day-to-day.
I want to become an OSA to revitalise the more mysterious approach to the council. I want to reflect them as what they are; The personal assistants to the most powerful people in the world.

I intend to play Cody Fletcher, a prior M.T.F. Captain whose whole unit was disbanded for reasons he doesn't quite understand, by a figure he doesn't know, and whose only explanation was a letter that he doesn't understand. I intend to embody the extremely 'The greater good matters most' attitude that one can expect from a captain that belonged to a secretive, and possibly not-entirely-ethical Task-Force to hold to themselves.
I intend to combine that with some mystery and intrigue- The nature of his prior duties are purposefully left vague and non-precise, so that some level of 'Fill the blank' can be left. I did have some conversations with Remmy regarding some level of prior acquaintance between this character and their -1, which is currently also in the applications process.
As for storylines, I intend to involve the character largely in matters pertaining to this- Why was his task-force disbanded? What did the Council intend for them in the first place? How is he still alive?
I believe that this will result in a character that will be enjoyable to play, while also being sufficiently impactful to other characters within the community.

- Closing/Opening Blast Doors
- Authorisation of A.A. when required
- Coordinating Site-Responses in the absence of Site-Administration
- Signing of documentation and authorisation forms, along with general record keeping.
- Liasoning between their department and others.
- Enforcing the code of conduct for their department.
