Why would you like to become a Gamemaster:
I've been wanting to apply for gamemaster for quite a while now, I want to become a gamemaster for a few reasons, first and foremost I love to create fun roleplay for others and I enjoy taking part in extensive roleplay with a story, while this is of course something I can do as a regular player, I think as a gamemaster I will be able to use the tools given as a gamemaster combined with the roleplay experience I have gained as a regular player to create fun and high quality roleplay for the server. Other than the previous points I also like to play unique characters that are often more difficult to accurately perform without GM assistance and this leads to me usually having to request a GM to help me with enhancing my roleplay, by becoming a gamemaster myself it would be much easier to play more unique characters which give fun and unique roleplay to players around the entire server.
What do you think you would be able to help us with on the server? Why are you special over the other applicants:
I believe I can bring a number of skills to the GM team, some of these skills include:
Pac3 experience | I have a sufficient amount of experience with the pac3 addon on the server and I am able to work with and take full advantage of most features in the editor, I personally have assisted GMs with pac3 and even made pac3s for events in the past. As a GM I will be able to use my pac3 skills to its full extent with less restrictions.
Creating roleplay | As a regular player I have already created and participated in several high quality and fun roleplay scenarios with most groups in the server, as a gamemaster I will be able to enhance this roleplay with the tools I am given.
Past GM assistance | I've worked with a number of gamemasters and event team members for their events and RP enhancements, as mentioned before I have also made pac3s for gamemaster events in the past, I feel as a gamemaster I will be able to work together with GMs more often and it will be a lot easier to do so.
Based on the aforementioned points I believe I may be a better fit for gamemaster than most other applicants may be, due to my experience that people usually only develop as a gamemaster.

Please List 3 small event ideas (Which would involve at least one side of the server):
Event #1 ‘The random door’
Description:
During a cross-test between SCP-249 'The random door' and SCP-301 'Teleporter' in which an attempt was made to neutralize and/or make significant changes to SCP-249 due to security risks following an incident in Site-██ (see Addendum 249-001). As soon as SCP-249 was transported into SCP-301, SCP-249 immediately disappeared. Whilst preparations for a test in the Lower Light Containment Zone (Delta Wing) of Site 65 on SCP-457 'The burning man', Dr. █████ encountered what is thought to be the recently reported M.I.A. SCP-249 which has breached containment. Site 65 researchers are recommended to conduct experiments on the potentially altered SCP-249 in order to write an extensive report on alterations and/or defects that may have been caused by the previous incident. Mobile Task Force Epsilon-11 designated 'Nine Tailed Fox' are to work alongside research personnel to ensure temporary containment of the anomaly on Site 65 while it awaits transfer back to Site-██.
How this event will be run:
To perform this event, I will place a door somewhere in LCZ which will teleport a player to a “random” door within the site. Upon interacting with the doors the player will be teleported to a random doorway, this will be done using the GMTP tool on the toolgun, the exit nodes for this gmtp will be placed at random doors around the site and potentially even some on surface, each node will have the same name, this is so the GMTP will randomly select one of the exit nodes randomly to teleport the player to. Site personnel will be able to interact with this event however they please, exit node locations could also be changed during the event to create more variety and a sense of true randomness for players participating in the event.

Event #2 ‘Startling Statue: Inter-dimensional chills’
Description:
Following a test lead by Dr. █████ within Research and Reliquary Dimensional Containment Site-120 in which SCP-650 was exposed to numerous entities with dimension warping abilities and anomalous phenomena causing dimensional shifts, SCP-650's abilities were altered and it can now travel between different dimensions in order to cause a fight or flight response in extra-dimensional beings alongside the original target of regular and sometimes anomalous entities. The previously mentioned incident caused a containment breach of SCP-650 which caused it to rapidly move across the continent, eventually encountering the highly anomalous town of Pinewood, at which point it entered Research and Containment Site 65 and is now loose within the site. Stationary Task Force Epsilon-11 Designated 'Nine Tailed Fox' are advised to utilize Scranton Reality Anchors™ and the Special Containment Procedures assigned to SCP-650 in order to ensure containment of the anomaly, researchers may conduct testing on this altered instance of SCP-650 in order to understand it's new anomalous abilities and invent new Special Containment Procedures for the SCP object.
How this event will be run: In order to prepare for this event, I will set myself to the SCP-??? and give myself the "Summon Helpers Dimension" swep and use an already premade SCP-650 pac3 (simple imported model with animations), once preparations are completed and proper conditions in order to host an event (no active code 1, 3, 5 or black, other events going on, etc..) I will start the event by simply using noclip while cloaked and searching for a target that is by themselves before standing behind them and uncloaking at which point I will not move until they break eye contact with me at which point I will cloak and noclip behind my target again (unless there are other people around, in which case I will not move). If an SCP-22415 instance is flagged on I will also use the "Summon Helpers Dimension" Swep in order to do the same thing to them except within the helpers dimension (or any other individuals found in the dimension). In order to make the dimension travelling part a bit more significant to the event another GM or a willing player may be asked to flag on SCP-22415 in order to assist in making it more effective and engaging.

Event #3 'Ice cold abnormality'
Description:
How this event will be run:
When setting up this event I will have to make a dupe and pac3 scene in order for the ocean scene to work properly and to have an explorable iceberg, the inside will be a different dupe which would be accessible through a gmtp which will be disabled later on into the event so foundation can get stuck inside of it (essential for the main story of the event), another part of the dupe will be a UNGOC submarine or battleship which will be where UNGOC operatives will be transported in the event.
In the inner part of the iceberg there will be several interactable gmobjectives to discover more about the origin and anomalous effects of the iceberg for E-11 operatives to discover.
Once all the dupes, gmtps, gmobjectives and pac3 scenes are finished I can proceed to actually starting the event, this will initially start with regional command contacting E-11 over open comms to reach the surface zone, once all E-11 have made their way to surface they will interact with a password locked gmtp which will be next to compound consisting of a helicopter prop that teleports you to the entrance of the iceberg where they may begin entering.
After E-11 have made it into the iceberg, UNGOC will be contacting on open comms as well by the North American Sub-Nexus calling a scramble order to make their way to the submarine and toward the iceberg, once all UNGOC have gathered in their compound they will be instructed to head to no-man's land where a password locked gmtp on a helicopter prop will be placed, once they use the gmtp they will be teleported to the submarine or battleship section of the dupe, at which point they will be instructed to scout the nearby area for potential threats or friendly operatives near the threat entity before making any attempt at destroying the anomaly. From there the event will play out as foundation eventually get contacted by UNGOC to vacate the iceberg immediately before they destroy it using their weapon systems, at which point Foundation may make an attempt to return out of the iceberg where they will find the entrance blocked off by a wall of ice, at which point they are trapped. After this the players may choose however they proceed, each action may have dire consequences if both factions aren't careful.

Description:
Isaiah island, once a home for a thriving mining industry, turned into a military warzone during an armed conflict between the Canadian Armed Forces and a small terrorist militia funded by MC&D fighting to capture the central tower of the abandoned quarry. The conflict caused several spills of radioactive and anomalous materials. The radioactive materials are currently unidentified but do not appear as directly of anomalous origin.
Field agent Patterson and his entire squad were designated M.I.A. and [S.P.E.A.R.] systems have detected a spike in hume levels greatly above baseline in the area of operation.
Regional command has ordered a scouting operation be performed by MTF Nu-7 Designated 'Hammer Down' and MTF E-11 Designated 'Nine Tailed Fox', both task forces are currently awaiting transport to the area of operations.
How this event will be run:
I will set this event up by getting the Event Server set to the aforementioned map, after which there will be a pac3 made for the creature which will I will get back to in a moment. Alongside the pac3 for the entity, there will be several interactable GMobjectives found around the map which will tell the players more about the story and lore of the island (such as radioactive waste, corpses, signs, etc..). Now for the main focus of the event there will be a creature which participating players will be able to learn more about through the earlier mentioned GMobjectives, such as notes, posters and broken down vehicles and other destroyed structures, the creature will be played by either myself or another helping gamemaster on SCP-??? wearing a pac3 who will simply roam around and potentially attack and scare players who roam too far alone, as well as just observing the operatives. Alongside the creature being visibly around the island there will also be pac3s made for audio cues to raise suspension in the event and also scare the players a little.
Now before the players will actually be switched to the event server they will first all gather up in foundation compound where helicopter comes to pick them up and transport them to the island.

From: Regional Manager 'Ellipsis' To: MTF Nu-7 & MTF E-11 Subject: Mission Briefing, Operation Isaiah |
Greetings elite operatives, I'll cut this short and simple, following several conflicts between a terrorist militia funded with anomalous and radioactive matter by Marshall, Carter & Dark LTD, high hume readings have been detected on Isaiah island within the Northwestern Passages, your job is to search the entire island for any anomalous activity, living or not, you may choose to deal with the anomalies yourself or await a backup squad to deal with any problems encountered, MTF Beta-7 Designated 'Maz Hatters' will be on standby in case you require additional assistance with any biological or radiological hazards that you may encounter. once all anomalous activity has been contained you will request an extraction and deploy an extraction flare to signal your location. A transport helicopter will arrive at Site 65 compound very soon. I expect a mission report as soon as it is done. [ SECURE. CONTAIN. PROTECT. ] |

List an example mission for each of the following (O-1, A-1, Nu-7, E-11, CI, UNGOC & Foundation Staff):
Regiment/Group | Description | Setup |

Omega-1 | A ghastly kidnapper [Incoming Message from: Omega-1 Captain 'Lich' ] > Greetings Omega-1, >> > After anomalous activity has been sighted within ethics committee offices, Ethics Committee Member Marine Lennon Cath has been abducted by some anomalous entity or through some kind of anomalous ritual. Some mysterious markings have started to appear around the offices and your bunks, I advise you to investigate it and get her back. Bring Kant Counters, Scranton Reality Anchors and any other devices that may help you locate and stabilize any anomalous phenomena within the area. Remember, your priority is to rescue and retrieve Marine L. Cath as soon as possible. Good luck, O-1 Captain 'Lich' [Message logged] | This event will mainly consist of gmobjectives such as notes and other miscellaneous items being placed around the O-1 bunks and ethics offices for O-1, upon interacting with these they may activate screen effects and chat messages which will consist of riddles that will tell them where they will find their next clue. Alongside these gmobjectives I will make a pac3 to display mysterious messages and play ominous sounds to raise suspension, the messages will be mainly just menacing red writing with clues or threats written in them. Once O-1 figure out the entire puzzle they'll get an opportunity to perform a ritual of some kind which will, with some effort, bring the Ethics Member back to them. |
Alpha-1 | The Valravn abduction [>] EMERGENCY TRANSMISSION [<] >> O5-6 '███ ██████' is designated M.I.A. << Hello Alpha-1, this is three contacting you regarding an incident that happened on ██/██/████, O5-6 has been kidnapped by Valravn operatives, we are unsure of the motives behind this kidnapping, however we are aware of a location where six is currently being held ransom. I want you to raid the Valravn outpost in Manitoba, West of Altona. Once you arrive I want you to make sure O5-6 is alive at all cost and retrieve him. If possible you should kidnap and interrogate any Valravn operatives stationed at the outpost to find out more about the nature of the kidnapping. Your transport vehicle will be readily available at your nearest Site compound very soon, I expect positive result as there is no room for failure. Good luck operatives. [>] END OF TRANSMISSION [<] | For this event there will firstly be some pac3s prepared for the Valravn mercenaries to use, as well as this there will be a dupe made to represent the Valravn "Outpost". Once this is all set up, A-1 will be made aware of the incident through an event character assistant, O5 or A-1 CO by properly giving them a mission briefing and taking them up to surface. Once all A-1 are gathered they'll interact with a helicopter prop in compound with a gmtp attached to it which has an exit node in the dupe on gmplane. Now to bring more RP to the event there will be some gmobjective props placed around the dupe such as computers that show comms logs between Valravn and another organisation (something like MC&D, CI or UNGOC, I'm not entirely sure yet) detailing the hit on O5-6 and why it was placed. Within the dupe there will be several gm helpers or volunteers playing as Valravn mercenaries or workers with pac3s, some of these will be unarmed and/or non-combative such as analytics and secretaries, which will give opportunities for kidnap and interrogation RP. This event could lead to another event where A-1 fight more Valravn mercenaries infiltrating the site. As well as the Valrvan employees there will be one GM playing O5-6 who is kidnapped in a holding cell. |
Nu-7 | Anderson Robotics' offensive [ MTF Nu-7 Announcement ] >> All members of MTF Nu-7 stationed within Research and Containment Site 65 are to return to bunks for mission briefing. << "MTF Nu-7 Major 'Grimoire': I'm glad to see you have all made it to the mission briefing, now before I get started, where is Lance Corporal 'Alpha'?" "MTF Nu-7 Sergeant 'Winters': M.I.A. After the last Insurgency siege raid, sir." "MTF Nu-7 Major 'Grimoire': How unfortunate. Anyway I'll cut this short and simple and get straight to the point, the GOI known as Anderson Robotics have been spotted within the region and appear to be preparing an offensive on our compound within the next 30 minutes or so, I want you all to set up defenses within that timespan. You will be supplied with sandbags and a single M1 A1 Abrams alongside your standard issue equipment. Now, are there any questions before you are dismissed?" "MTF Nu-7 Private 'Mint': I do, sir, what kind of force should we expect from the enemy?" "MTF Nu-7 Major 'Grimoire': Great question Private, likely some advanced weapons in the form of mechanical anomalies. Any last questions?" "Nu-7 in unison: No sir." "MTF Nu-7 Major 'Grimoire': Then you are dismissed, make your way to the garage immediately. | To prepare for this event I will make a few variations of a pac3 which will simply just be robotic soldiers with some sound effects for walking and communicating. After which Nu-7 will be informed of the "raid" through a mission briefing and/or open comms message. Once Nu-7 are informed they'll be given 1 M1 A1 abrams tank in the garage and some sandbag props for cover. Once Nu-7 are aware and prepared, a few GM helpers/volunteers will be given the pac3s and set to approximately ~250-500 HP and some assault rifles (such as the F90 mbr, AEK-971, etc..), once everything is prepared I'll use a Csay to announce to foundation there are enemy forces approaching the compound, after which the gm volunteers will drive a transport truck towards foundation and they will then enter compound from several different entrances (back of compound and front of compound) and engage in combat with Nu-7. Once Nu-7 defeat the robots of Anderson Robotics, the Nu-7 may collect parts of the robots for researchers to study. |
Epsilon-11 | The Advanced Shapeshifter [ALERT] - UNKNOWN ANOMALY DETECTED IN: LOWER HEAVY CONTAINMENT ZONE >> INCOMING TRANSMISSION << ----------------------------------- An unknown anomaly has been reported within the Lower Heavy Containment Zone of Research and Containment Site 65. Sightings suggest the anomaly may be some sort of shapeshifter, stay alert and look for any strange individuals and/or objects. Contact Site Administration once you have successfully identified and contained the anomaly for further instruction. Glory to the foundation. [ SECURE. CONTAIN. PROTECT] ----------------------------------- >> END OF TRANSMISSION << | This event will only require one GM (me) using the SCP-??? job and a pac3 making the basemodel a simple civilian looking model. Once the event actually starts I will use the !model command to switch between several different props or playermodels in order to act as a shapeshifter. Whenever switching between model I will act as the job or object I am disguised as at the moment. Once it is set up I will use Csay to make an alert of an unknown anomaly in LHCZ, similar to the RP transmission to the left. From here E-11 may act as they wish and attempt to contain the anomaly. |
Chaos Insurgency | Operation 'Trailblazer' From: Sierra-7 high command To: Sierra-7 Insurgents Subject: Mission briefing Greetings Sierra-7, IRU field operatives have reported SCP Foundation presence near an "abandoned" warehouse, intelligence gathering at the location of interest suggests potential anomalous technological developments being performed within the warehouse, Sierra-7 Director 'Marauder' has ordered a raid to be performed by Sierra-7 TEU, MRU and IRU insurgents in order to search and extract any valuable intelligence such as blueprints, documentation and personnel, as well as materials being used for weapon development. Once the mission is complete, all collected items will be given to ARUC in order to research the advancements and potentially use it to create powerful weapons and make sure the Insurgency continues to reign supreme. [ Glory to The Engineer, glory to the Chaos Insurgency ] | The setup for this event should be relatively easy consisting of a medium dupe consisting of a warehouse guarded by MTF operatives (GM helpers or player volunteers). In order to make it to the warehouse there will be a gmtp at the very end of main road which will lead to the dupe on gm plane where CI will drive with a transport truck, once they arrive in the dupe it is up to CI to finish the mission in any way they wish. |
UNGOC | The Serpent's Hand outpost [ Message relay from 'Exalted' ; "Lieutenant, 225th FOB" : "MEMO/██/06 ; ] [ * Received message. ] [ > Opening Message. . . ] "Local field operatives have reported Lerna presence in the area of operations, Lerna have been spotted building a temporary base far south-east from the town of Pinewood. I want all 25th Corps operatives to conduct a raid on the base in order to wipe out all Lerna presence, be aware of potential Type Blue's in the base, VERITAS monitoring systems in the area have detected several blue signatures around the "Base". Your priority objective will be to liquidate and/or capture all Lerna presence. Once Lerna have been wiped out you must search the base for any plans of future attacks or other relevant intelligence. Good luck soldiers." [ ⌞ PEACE. DIGNITY. EQUALITY. ⌝ ] [ : End of message relay : ] | For this event there will first be a small dupe built near the Foundation vents area to resemble a small Serpent's Hand base. Once the dupe is finished there will be a few GM helpers (or player volunteers) who will be playing Serpent's Hand members using the cultist player model, one of which (gm helper only) will have a very weak reality bending swep, similar to the foundation thaumatologist's power. Within the aforementioned dupe there will be a few interactable gmobjectives like scrolls, books and other notes which describe plans of attack on the local UNGOC FOB. Once the dupe and enemies are set up, UNGOC will be briefed on the matter and will prepare an attack on the base, from there they may do what they wish. This event could lead to a series of events where Serpent's Hand may attempt offensive attacks against the UNGOC base, these may vary depending on what intelligence GOC gathered during the initial event. |
Foundation Staff | The mangled radiologist "Executive Researcher Thomas Newhart stumbles into Site 65's medical bay yelling for a doctor, "I need an emergency surgery now!" as he was visibly hurt, missing an arm and suffering from several wounds across his body. A green, slightly luminescent liquid is dripping from the open wounds on his body. As the researcher is escorted into the medical bay, senior doctors and other experienced surgeons are requested to the surgery room immediately. Executive Researcher Thomas Newhart explains he suffered major injuries following a containment failure during a behavioral test on SCP-9000-A. The green liquid is later identified to be radioactive matter originating from SCP-9000-A and is causing rapid mutation in the executive's body. | This event should be very simple to set up as it only requires one gamemaster (myself) on the event job or the executive researcher job, for which I'll make a pac3 which will be a heavily injured researcher with blood dripping from the wounds alongside green particles. This event will go differently depending on how the doctors deal with the injuries, for example if they fail the surgery, I will toggle a mutated version of the pac3 and give myself around 400 HP and an 049-2 or 9000 swep and will act completely blind running around wildly and accidentally running into personnel and hitting them while security may destroy or contain the mutated researcher. In the scenario that the doctors do succeed, I'll toggle less injured versions of the pac3 until the procedure is completed at which most injuries will have disappeared. Generally the outcome of this event will be completely decided on how well the medical department deals with the situation. |
