Why are you applying for Special Agent?
Seems like the logical next step after playing field agent and proving I can get DEA and Nu-7 coordinate, My main goal as DEA CL4 is to get DEA and Nu-7 co-ordinating as well as getting ISD and DEA to cooperate more via use of the site-affairs tag. I also want to expand my work in SIC. Since coming back, I have found DEA the most enjoyable department to play and have set my sights on achieving a Senior CL4 role within the department, so a Special Agent Application is the perfect first step for it.
What makes you suitable for Special Agent?:
During my time in DEA, I have proven that I can create roleplay for DEA, SOP and other departments, especially within the SIC (reach out for specifics if you wish). By playing a very brazen character, it allows for more RP to be conducted around the character.
I have also proven that I can co-ordinate DEA on surface by giving consistent call-out’s and ideas for raids and attacks. This is something that SOP are struggling with incredibly badly right now, I believe I can help make it slightly better due to my experience of co-ordinating people in O-1 and E-11.
Although acting as a very hot headed character IC, OOC I can remain calm and if I ever feel as if I’m not, I will just get off the server as GMod can never be that deep. I believe I have a very good separation of IC and OOC and have proven this in every position I have held on the server.
I also believe my previous work in O-1 and Ethics gives me a good understanding of RP creation and what DEA needs from an OOC standpoint, this experience will help make me a better special agent.
Also I believe I have a very good understanding of how DEA and SOP operate and have been making good use of the DEA Empowerment act along with the other senior agent’s I have been playing with lately,
I have also created a large amount of roleplay with both ISD, O-1 and A-1 in relations to playing a very angry character who wants to see policies upheld to the highest degree. During this we have interrogated and arrested an O-1 LT as well as attempting to storm ECO as AO kidnapped a grey suit without notifying DEA, despite the fact it didn’t go as we wanted, facing the In Character consequences for our actions was a very fun experience and I hope to create more RP involving GOI’s as Special Agent.
I also believe I have displayed good management skills in my positions of O-1 LTCOM and Ethics Member, I believe this skills will help aid me with managing in DEA.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
I haven’t written any documents during my time in DEA. However, as O-1 LTCOM and Ethics Member, I made multiple external documents along side one of my Majors, such as the O-1 CO Handbook, revamping O-1 handbook, Sub regiment documents / rosters and more and know how to make external documents.
What are the responsibilities of the Special Agent in RP?:
DEA Special agents are responsible for the following:
Authing Main Raids
Negotiating for hostages and hosting meetings
Managing and co-ordinating SOP
Creating roleplay for DEA and other departments
Overseeing and managing contact with external GoI’s (CI, GOC, MC&D) and event characters
Supervising DEA members and giving guidance to those who ask
Hosting trainings for members of DEA
Maintaining relations with GOI’s
Helping Department leaderships with whatever they need
Ensuring CL3 Members of DEA are not shut out of RP as much as possible
Inducting members into DEA
