Why are you applying for Security Captain?
- D-Block is constantly in a state of discontent and chaos during a majority of the time I am around, and it needs some more Captains around in order to help manage the area. There are a good few officers and Sergeants, however little actual command and I would like to provide that command.
What makes you suitable for Security Captain?:
- I have plenty of experience inside of the D-Block as regular GENSEC, and also as a Riot Control. In a majority of riots I have been involved in, I have had to take control as a Sergeant, and though they were still chaotic I managed to reel them under control. I also consider myself to be a good strategist, and a decent speaker. I am also fairly understanding, and in the case that someone needs to be investigated or reported I am sure to take both sides into consideration, and any evidence as-well. I also know all of the procedures within D-Block, and always try to teach the cadets and officers how things should be done.
What are the responsibilities of the Security Captain in RP?:
-In RP, the typical responsibilities of the Captain is to maintain order and control within the D-Block. This involves making sure GENSEC Personnel are at the correct post, from managing who is stationed where, and that GENSEC Riot Response Team is also correctly patrolling the site, and not idly stationed at D-Block. ( Unless there is a Code 2, or the D-Block is understaffed, in which case the Captain can request them to come assist. ) The Captain should also be ensuring that GENSEC Personnel are behaving properly, and not goofing about, or disrupting other site personnel, and punishing them as required.
Security Captains can also do Riot Response Team License training's, in which they show and test the involved officers what they needs to know and do to be a RRT Officer/Sergeant.
Please give some lore about your Security Captain character and what storylines they would be involved in:
Jonah was inducted into the SCP Foundation as GENSEC due to his prior experience as SWAT within a police force. During his time in the Police he had managed to experience a SCP Breach in his home town, and this lead to the Foundation offering him a job due to his competence and calm demeanour during it.
He quickly managed to get towards a Riot Response Team job in the site he was stationed at, and proved his competence yet again during a rather violent and large Riot, in which CI had broken into the site and managed to supply D-Class with a vast array of weapons and gear, including grenades. During the riot, Jonah managed to terminate the CI hiding inside of the showers and supplying the D-Class, aswell as quell the D-Class who were actively attacking site personnel. Afterwards he, and a on-site Captain managed to do a successful sweep of the D-Block, and removed plenty of guns, and gear from D-Class personnel.
Plenty of time was spent as RRT Sergeant patrolling the site with a small fireteam of fellow RRT, responding quickly to situations that had occurred, working well as a team to quell some D-Class escape attempts, and CI intrusions.
