For how long have you played on CG SCP: Since August, 2023
Age: 22
In what country are you located?: UK
Time zone: GMT/BST
Character name(s): See forums signature.
Civilian name: See forums signature.
What server are you applying for?: UK
Do you have a mic?: Yes
List all whitelisted, MTF, or CI roles that you hold or have held: See forums signature.
Have you received any kicks/bans/warning? and why?: No
Why are you applying for Internal Affairs Ambassador?:
I have been mainly playing IA on the server for a while now and have been enjoying it a lot. I have been involved in various arrests and other RP, and want to take it further, as unfortunately the opportunity for in-depth roleplay is rare as a regular Agent, given they cannot arrest MTF operatives and and cannot take part in operations involving CL4 personnel or knowledge - though I have been doing what I can to take part in investigations. I'd like to take part in more varied and in-depth roleplay, and engage with more of the server.
What makes you suitable for Internal Affairs Ambassador?:
I have been actively (and primarily) playing IA Agent for a while now, and have played as one in the past. I have made various arrests and written arrest reports about them, and am currently taking part in two investigations (one of which I am already gathering evidence for and have started on writing a report for). I try to engage in as much roleplay as I can, and want to take that further. I also believe I understand the duties and responsibilities of an Ambassador as well as an Agent reasonably can, along with those of the department itself more broadly.
I have experience in document writing, both for IA and outside of IA, including having written the E&TS Department Policies. I am also very familiar with the FLC, ZJP, and various other policies. Outside of IA, I have experience in a senior and leadership position, as I was previously an E-11 CPT before I resigned last month, having been a CO for about 3 months. In my role as E-11, and as a Tech Expert, I have been involved in various serious roleplay, including ones involving CL4 and CL5 personnel.
How many documents have you written? What makes a document good?:
I have written several arrest reports (I am not sure how many exactly, and it is difficult for me to find out), along with having started on an investigation report for a currently ongoing investigation. Outside of IA, I have also written several documents, including the E&TS Department Policies, a couple of E&TS procedures documents (available on SCiPNet and the department corkboard), this report for E&TS about a roleplay event, and a few documents that went unused as SA/SC didn't want to persue taking that department in that direction. I also began work on a regimental policies document for Epsilon-11, but didn't finish that before I resigned, so that isn't publicly available.
What makes a document good is that it is informative and easily digestible. This means being consistent with the expected format, not making the document overly complicated, structuring it in a way that is easy to navigate, and using correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. It is usually a good idea to follow any standard formats available, and to get a second opinion from someone knowledgeable so you can get feedback and improve the document.

What are the responsibilities of the Internal Affairs Ambassador in RP?:
Ambassadors have a wide range of responsibilities in roleplay, including:
- Training new Agents/Operatives
- Overseeing and supporting existing Agents/Operatives
- This includes, but isn't limited to, providing training, guiding and punishing agents that break the rules (FLC, server rules, IA guidelines, etc.), responding to reports of problematic agents, and being there to answer questions that agents have
- This is a very wide ranging responsibility
- This also includes things like authorising access to areas, authorising agents to act in another department's place (e.g. as a GSD escort for a test), assigning agents to stations, and more
- Managing lower-level investigations
- Ambassadors are often responsible for managing investigations that aren't set out by e.g. EC or DoIA
- This involves directing Agents and providing them with the information they need, and managing the information and reports generated by the investigations
- Taking part in CL4 investigations
- i.e. investigations involving CL4 knowledge, or the arrest of CL4 personnel
- Arresting and investigating CL4 personnel
- Only Ambassadors and above can arrest CL4 personnel, and they may sometimes investigate them (either as part of a broader investigation, or due to e.g. reports of violations by said personnel)
- Being an IA point of contact for CL4 concerns
